Nicely located riad in the heart of the medina. Several agreements were not met, however. I never saw any included breakfast.
Sharing a bathroom with a total stranger is no fun. The host seems unaware of the various bookings he has accepted. His landlady Fouzia didn't know either.
The notion of a "private room" is ridiculous. It's an old riad, so there's no privacy at all. Every sound can be heard throughout the whole property.

Contacting the host seems virtually impossible afterwards. The couple lives in Belgium, but travels a lot. Despite several calls and emails, no reply came. So if ever you have a 'dispute' or leave something behind, forget about it.

To be avoided at all costs. There are better places to find in Marrakech!

This riad is not in Derb Dabachi, but in a side street, Derb Jamaa 51.

Yann was very available by email from Belgium. Fouzia his housekeeper was lovely. We used Google Translate to communicate. The place is minimalist. The bed was good although you had to crawl on it to get in and out of bed. The bathroom was shared which was not clear. Luckily no one else was there. I think the place isn't better suited to a family or group rental. More
