Marhbabikoum means welcome, and it means a lot to us! Khalil is an official guide and gives you good advice. The riad is very well located, in the old historic city, near main palaces and museums. It is comfortable, nicely decorated, heating and air conditionning in all rooms, as well as private bathrooms. Sunny sundeck on the roof, a nice and green terrace on the rooftop, a large courtyard in the center of the house with a beautiful banana tree. 5 bedrooms, in total 13 people can sleep in our riad. Tasty and traditional moroccan food available in the riad, freshly prepared by Fatiha, our Cook!

We spent three nights in the riad. We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are charmingly furnished and clean. The hotel owner organized the transport from the airport for us. On request we also booked a tour of the old town with Khalil (the owner), which is very interesting and recommendable. I would recommend the accommodation to my friends.

Thanks so much Xenia for your nice comment, we were happy to meet you 3 and are happy you appreciated the riad, its rooms and its decoration. Khalil loves explaining his culture, his country, the history and showing moroccan handcrafts, he made it a job! It's good that you liked it! We hope you come back! Best regards Véronique and Khalil

This riad is tucked away in an alleyway away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. However, a 5-minute walk takes you into the thick of it. A beautiful courtyard inside greets you and that's where you'll have your lovely breakfast each morning. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, even providing a card size map so you can make your way back. I had a room on the 3rd floor rooftop which was just perfect for me. I used the space outside my room as a lovely patio. One thing that is VERY important as you cannot drive to the Riad (as is the case with any inside the Medina). You will be dropped off at a car park where someone with a cart will meet you and take your luggage and you through the labyrinth of alleys. BE SURE to get an idea ahead of time (either by emailing the Riad or asking the driver who dropped you off) what is the correct tip for the man with the cart. I did not and was definitely "taken" for way too much. Lesson learned! Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and can highly recommend it.

Hello, Thanks a lot for taking time to write this nice comment for us! We are happy you appreciated the location of Riad Marhbabikoum, the courtyard and the rooftop terrace. It is a chance to be so near to the main square and at the same time In a very quiet area. Thanks for pointing the staff, it is important for us that our guests feel at home and have a good service level. You're absolutely right about the tip for the luggage carriers... we always propose the airport pick-up service in order to avoid this particular problem. it's the reason why we include in the pick-up rate the cart for luggage from the parking to the riad. Thanks again and we hope we see you very soon, Best regards Véronique and Khalil

We had a great stay. The staff is so friendly, kind and professional. Breakfast is served each morning and includes tea and coffee, fresh orange juice, breads and eggs/yogurt. The riad is within a 10-15 min walk to the big square. The rooms are cozy and have space heaters that really help in the winter months! The sundeck is great with nice views and lounge chairs that we enjoyed using. It is close to the palace as well but on a quiet street.

Hello Christell, thanks so much for spending time to write a nice comment. We are happy you appreciated the comfort and cozy atmosphere of the ryad, and also the sunny sun deck! It is so nice in winter! It is important for us that our guests feel at home in a warm house, and of course, the location near to all highlights but so quiet is a real chance! We wish you a very happy 2019 and hope we see you again in Marrakesh! Best regards Véronique and Khalil

The staff is so friendly, the rooms are typical and cosy. The location of the ryad couldn't be more perfect, less than 5 minutes walk to Bahia Palace, and El Badii, 10 minutes by foot to reach Jemaa El Fna Place. The ryad's rooftop offers an amazing view of the Atlas mountain, breathtaking.
