We booked two nights there. Actually the first night disappointed me a little. We had to wait a while to get in after pushing bell. We were accommodated with mint tea. And then we left there to roam around Medina. After having dinner we went back, and then had to wait for a while again. We asked madam to serve... More

Lovely Riad in a fantastic location. However we weren't really provided with any information; eventually found an 'information' book in the lounge area. Would be brilliant if there was a copy of this in each room as provided fantastic information about what was available - we would have spent more money. Breakfasts were simple but delicious and plentiful. So close... More

The day we left, i had a phone call from love holidays saying that my previous hotel had to close due to water systems breaking down, so we were moved to Riad Dar Alahambra last minute. I recommend you arrive during the day, as it was "an experience" reaching the hotel at night time. We were dropped off at the... More

A lovely riad with beautiful authentic decoration. Upon arrival, which I will get to in a moment, we were shown in and up the narrow steps to the first floor and onto a rather grand set of large wooden carved doors. Inside our eyes were immediately drawn to the ornately painted high ceiling and moroc decorated archway which heads the... More

I have nothing but praise for this wonderful Riad. We arrived by taxi which took us into the Medina and then a young lad showed us right to the front door. Once inside the doors you realise what a stunning place it is, the sunshine entering from above illuminating the clean, white walls. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning... More

We had a fantastic though short stay here. It was very welcoming and the staff was happy to help or find a person who can help if we needed it. It was clean and quiet even though in the middle of the city. Breakfast was nice and the rooms afforded a good night's rest.

We had an amazing time here last week. We were very well looked after by Ahmed and Fatima . The breakfast was lovely and Fatimas cooking was amazing. The rooms are all excellent clean and spacious with lovely bed linen . This place was in a good position to explore the Medina , the square . It was a little... More

Hamid the manager and his staff take care of everything: late breakfast: no problem. Anything else: no problem. Situated in the middle of the medina. Great spot recommend for sure. Good price value. Very relaxed atmosphere. We will surely return here and so will all of our friends.

We had a fantastic stay here. It was very welcoming and Hamid was always happy to help you if you needed it. It was clean and quiet and was a great escape from the madness outside! The location is great, just a few minutes from the souks and the square. It is easy to find once you know where you... More

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was beautiful, peaceful and the staff were wonderful, genuinely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The riad has been restored to a beautiful standard. The hotel was so lovely that sometimes we delayed leaving to face the craziness of the Medina. One tip is that it is difficult to find... More

Magnificent 16th-century Riad, a haven of peace in the very heart of the Medina, lovingly restored in the pure Moroccan tradition - painted cedar ceilings, sculpted stucco, zelliges, marble floors...Impeccably clean, all rooms with private bath, and air conditioning. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb 360 view of the Medina, the Koutoubia and the snow capped Atlas mountains.
