This Riad was really lovely inside and authentic. It is right next to Ben Youseff. The couple who own this place could not do enough for us. Compliments to the cook as well. The only thing I didn't like was the walk to our Riad, the medina is like a rabbit warren and we got lost often although there are... More

Ask for english tea if you want a proper brew at breakfast. Had 2 evening meals bit pricey but very good . Hamid and staff are brill . I... More

Thank you for this excellent review. Hamid and the team try their very best to make guests feel at home and accompanied in their visit to Marrakech which is so very different to our own countries. This is our aim in Dar Alhambra. Welcome back one day! More

We (two sisters in their twenties) had a great night at Riad Dar Alhambra- right in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech. It was our final night in Morocco and after extensive travelling we were craving peace and quiet- which is exactly what we got! We stayed in a suite downstairs, which was amazing: a huge room and bathroom... More

We are very pleased to have made your last night in Morocco a pleasure! Hamid, Fatna and Assisa try very hard to make our guests have a pleasurable stay. In combination with the beautiful Moroccan décor this makes a winning combination for an exceptional stay. As you quite rightly say, it is best to reserve a taxi through the Riad... More

We are used to getting everywhere by car so making your way to your accommodation in the Medina in Marrakech is different. No car can drive to the front door but a nice taxi driver at the airport and a guide once we had to leave the car behind, sorted all. For further guidance we used the excellent map.me app... More

We spent some hours the day before we checked just to locate the Riad. A good move as it was in the Medina, near the souks, a maze of alleys and streets. The Riad was very clean. A full set of white towels daily, instant hot water, only problem was no shower rose hook over bath. Breakfast was basic Moroccan,... More

I arrived quite late at night (9 sth pm). The shops were closed, many parts of the souqs were blocked and it was my first night in the country so i was totally lost. Some guys followed me and insisted to guide me and asked for money, which scared me (later became accustomed to it). But once i stepped in... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in January. The riad is a little difficult to locate at first but once you do, you realise how close it is to the main square (10 minute walk). Having said that, the riad is very peaceful and quiet so is a great way to escape the hussle and bussle outside. The staff are... More

We found this riad quite easily after getting the airport bus to Djemaa el Fna square. We used an app called Maps.me and had downloaded the Morocco map before leaving the UK. It worked really well as I had bookmarked Medersa Ben Youssef and the riad is very close-by. It would be easy to miss because there is just a... More

AMAZING! Great hospitality, in the middle of the souks! Great for solo backpackers or families. Enjoy the true Moroccan culture here. The place was comfortable, clean and the staff was very helpful with tips on navigating to popular attractions.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb 360 view of the Medina, the Koutoubia and the snow capped Atlas mountains.
