Fes is such a great travel destination and needs to be on your list of "must see" destinations. And Riad Ibn Battouta was a great spot from which to experience the charm and culture of Fes. The location was perfect. You could walk to the Medina with all its shops, food, markets and wildly twisty alleys. Hicham and his staff... More

I had a wonderful experience when I stayed at the Riad Ibn Battouta. My room was beautifully decorated and clean. The rest of the Riad was very comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the owner Anass was charming and very friendly, he organized me a tour through the Medina. I had a really great... More

Visited the Riaad in March 2016,we were a group of 8 adults , booked it based on the reviews thinking we would have a good stay it was the most disappointing riaad we stayed at, the one room they gave us was on the very top floor,in the room there was this eerie dark staircase that goes down into a... This lovely Riad is a few metres away from the Batha Fountain and just a stone's throw away from the entrance to the Medina. It's really easy to get a taxi to drop you off almost at the door. The place itself and the rooms are wonderful, like something out of the Arabian Nights. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

We booked a last minute trip to Fes from Rabat and found this great place. It didn't start off great due to email miscommunication about dinner. However, since the proprietor and his wife made us dinner, we decided to eat again. It was a delicious meal with great vegetable dips (cauliflower caviar) and an amazing tajine chicken. The interior main... More

We really loved Ibn Battouta. It's a haven of quiet beauty in the heart of busy Fez. Old-style traditional decor, gorgeous rooms, really fine helpful charming service especially from the owner Anass, good food, absolutely everything we needed. V useful local advice about places and directions and guides. We only speak English and that was fine. I'd certainly stay here... More

Like all riads the splendor is in the inside. Beatifully restored attrium and in our room a fabulous stucco cupbola over the bed. Friendly staff ensured our stay was pleasant. The riad is a 8 minute walk to the blue gate of medina.

I can't say enough about this riad! From the moment we walked in, everything was so shockingly beautiful and organized and clean and perfect. The rooms were amazing, the courtyard breathtaking and the service is incomparable. I was in touch with Annass, the manager/owner of the riad, long before staying and he was incredibly helpful in providing details and making... More
