We had already stayed in two riads-- both (very) good-- in Marrakech and Rabat respectively. But Riad de le cle was truly outstanding, the best one yet. The location is perfect, both extremely quiet and only 100-200 meters from the center of the Medina. The Riad itself is beautiful-- four stories of ornate architecture and wonderfully decorated, comfortable, and spatious... More

You never know what is behind the door in Morocco, and what a delight here. A wonderful old (1920s) Riad that has been beautifully restored. Massive rooms (large living areas and we had a seperate double room downstairs for the bed). This place was simply a delight and a 5 minute walk into the Medina. Small pool which we used... More

Location of the riad is really close by the markets and easy to get a taxi if you ever need one. The staff were amazing and really friendly which made the stay ever more enjoyable. Breakfast and dinner at the riad couldnt be better (: The rooms are really spacious and lovely too. Would definitely stay again (:

We just had 4 nights at read la Cle de fes. It was fantastic. The location is great. The renovation is beautiful. We had the Bab Guissa room which is really big. As everyone says, Miriam, Soukaina, Mohammed and Fatima are wonderful. The breakfasts on the roof terrace are excellent. We used the pool which was very refreshing. And we... More

This is a lovely little riad in the heart of the medina. We welcome of tea and biscuits was a nice touch. The riad is a gorgeous little quirky space with lots of stairs and narrow passageways - this is not for those who don't like stairs. But perfect for those looking for a more authentic fun experience. The location... More

Riad la Cle de Fes is easily our best stay in Morocco. The Riad is stunning, authentically renovated to include mod cons while retaining the charm of an original high class family home. With only five appartments, a roof terrace with stunning views and a central courtyard that is both comfortable and elegant la Cle is a safe and warm... More

We arrived in a rainy night and were greeted by the lovely concierge with hot tea and cakes. The lobby of this vintage Riad is opulent. Many narrow and uneven stairs lead to series of passage ways to the rooms. Tile and Berber carpets adorn the floors and the rooms are full of antiques like an earlier day of easy... More

Would recommend this hotel to people staying at Fes. It is close to Bab Bojloud which is good and it is within the old city Medina. Only challenge was the wi fi which was not that fast. Overall a really good experience staying in this hotel. Special mention of Amal (I hope I have spelled the name correctly) and her... More

My girlfriend and I are in our 30s from New York City and visited Fes in December 2015. We thought Riad La Cle de Fes was absolutely stunning, the rooms well appointed, the bathroom luxurious and the bed high quality. The hosts were very responsible to our inquiries and made sure we found the Riad and arranged for a tour... More
