I have stayed in luxury boutique hotels around the world, but this place stands apart as incomparable on so many levels. I have rarely seen a staff that so consistently makes every effort to see to a guest's comfort, and with such charm. Whether it was providing wine by our room's fireplace, or tea and cookies on the terrace, Karim seemed to be there around the clock to fulfill any request and answer any questions. The owner Fred was a gracious and attentive host, and checked in regularly to see if there was any way he could make our stay more enjoyable. He insisted on upgrading the small though charming room my husband and I first booked, when he discovered there was a cancellation for the Cream Suite, which is highly recommended. Our family's two rooms were both spotless, spacious with high ceilings, elegant yet cozy and filled with stylish details; the entire property's interior design creatively presented unique, contemporary takes on traditional Moroccan culture. Every space was an aesthetic delight, including the gorgeous, peaceful pool and rooftop terrace. We had one of the best meals of our entire stay in Morocco at the rooftop Bistro. The presentation and creative use of local ingredients were more sophisticated than some of the most expensive restaurants we tried in both Fez and Marrakech. There are many Riads to choose from in Fez, but impossible to imagine improving upon this one. A trip to Fez is worth it, just to stay here.…
The structure is super clean and the atmosphere was amazing. The 2woman who took care of us during the hammam and massage session were professional and nice. The customer service in general is superlative. I absolutely recommend this place under any point of view.
not enough time spent in this road to soak in all the details. beautiful decor and warm, helpful staff. Shout out to karim and badiaa for all their help and warm smiles. and to our reliable porter laarbi. morning breakfast on the rooftop was special as we watched the sun rise over Fes. Spectacular!
It’s a beautiful Riad in Fes. We stayed two nights during our trip to Morocco. We had a nice relaxing time, it’s very quiet, perfect for families, breathtaking views from the terrace and delicious breakfast. Everyone at the hotel was very kind. We would love to go back one day.
It started with Omar, who picked us up at the Casablanca airport. He was wonderful. Once we arrived near the Riad, our van was met by a helpful man (don't know his name) who put our things in a cart and guided us to the Riad. We had the Orange Suite, a room that was comfortable and spacious. And so beautiful! It was on the main floor. The restaurant is up stairs, so be prepared for a good heart-racing before eating breakfast. And the breakfast is worth it! Home made and local. We ate dinner there twice, once with the a la carte menu, and once with the Moroccan menu. Both dinners were delicious. We had a traditional hammam and massage our first full day. I highly recommend it. The hamman is a unique experience. The room is extremely clean. We got requests for restaurants from the staff and they scheduled a 1:1 tour of the area by a scholar. This was the only slight negative. The guide was very knowledgeable, but he didn't have a sense of humor and his storytelling was factual but dry. We learned a lot, but it wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped. Everyone at the Riad we talked to was always happy, smiling, and helpful. They seem to help out in departments that may not be theirs, always with a smile. Karim, Badiaa, Rajae, Malek, Anwar, and the others, thank you for making our 5 nights in Fes so magical!…
