We stayed at Dar Roumana in July with our 4 year old son. From beginning to end of our stay we were very looked after - from being met at the train station on arrival, to a porter to take our bags (and son) to the hotel, to the first class service from Mohammed during our stay. He was very... More

In Fez we stayed in this beautiful and hidden riad. It felt more our home rather than a hotel. The room was beautiful, good amenities and very comfortable. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was so good; it is served in the terrace where you have great views from the city. We also enjoyed dinner, very... More

Breathtaking Riad on the Edge of the Medina Dar Roumana is a beautiful, authentic riad with exquisite décor and the most stunning courtyard and rooftop terrace. It is in a really quiet corner of the medina, only a 5-7 minute walk from the Ain Azliten parking area (near the Merinide ruins), and a 10 minute walk to the heart of... More

Walking into Dar Roumana the first time took my breath away! It was our first Riad and it was everything and more than we hoped for. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff made us feel very welcome and special to them. We stayed here 3 nights and the food that chef Vincent prepared was so amazing that... More

Our recent stay at Dar Roumane was faultless. The rooms are large, and the beds wide and comfortable. The staff are welcoming. The management handled a lot of admin which made out stay frictionless: taxis, rail tickets, guides and tours. Dinner is well-executed: don't expect many Moroccan touches; this is unreservedly French. However the management will recommend good local eateries... More

Dar Roumana is a beautiful Riad. We really enjoyed the view of Fes from the terrace, sipping mint tea and watching the sunset. Vincent is a great host. He gave us very good recommendations on things to do in Fes but the highlight of the trip was eating dinner at Dar Roumana. Vincent is an amazing chef!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Dar Roumana after travelling in Morocco for nearly a month, and it was by far one of our favorite accommodations. We stayed in the Argana room, which was cozy and private, and just perfect for a couple. The room is on the top floor, and while it doesn't have the high... More

Vincent and Vanessa are lovely hosts! We would have loved to stay longer and try out Vincent's cooking skills. They appear to be amazing (be sure to book a table when you book for the night, the restaurant was fully booked when we were there)!

We totally enjoyed everything about this riad. They were extremely welcoming with tea and pastries on arrival, and we had an exquisite french dinner that night at the riad--and the best mojito I have ever had. Highly recommend the lamb. The rooms are huge and comfortable (we were on second floor). The rooftop terrace is great for watching the sunset.... More
