Staying at this riad is like staying inside a piece of Fes history! The inscription inside the building indicates that it was built in 1355. Whilst there have obviously been various renovations since then, some of the old tiling can still be seen. The place has been decorated beautifully. The rooftop is lovely and we spent half a day just...

An amazing riad in the heart of the medina in Fez! No clue why this accommodation is not rated a solid five star! The staff was lovely and very helpful at every question. The location is great and the food divine! Highly recommend this riad if you wish to stay in a clean, friendly place!

A tranquil haven located right inside the Medina, this riad is authentic, beautifully decorated with a roof terrace overlooking the city and polite, friendly staff. Clean, excellent service and superb quality accommodation. Also ideally located for exploring the medina - many of the main attractions within walking distance. Only room for improvement would be a healthier option at breakfast -...

Lovely people, fabulous building, great location. Fab view from the terrace. We weren't able to turn the aircon down which was a shame, but that was the only grumble. Even by Moroccan medina standards, it was difficult to fine.

We stayed for three nights recently and really enjoyed it - a calm place to call home away from the bustle of the medina outside. The rooms and courtyard were beautifully maintained and very comfortable and clean (and the terrace! Why did we not know about the terrace until our final day!), but it's the service which really made this...

We stayed one night in Fez during our 6 day tour of Morocco. Riad Kettani was the most beautiful of all the riads we visited and also one of the best meals we had for dinner. Make sure to go up to the roof top for great views of the medina. Also, Ibtissim was our hostess who escorted us to...

Ibitisam means happiness in arabic, and it also the name of our charming hostess. She made our stay there a very comfortable and happy one! Riad Kettani is a superbly restored historic home nestling in the heart of the medina, or old walled city, inaccessible except by foot. To get there you have to make your way through the winding...

We spent four nights in Riad Kettani and it was truly amazing; the staff was very kind and helpful, beautiful bedrooms, always clean and a very nice view from the roof terrace. The location is in the middle of the Medina, which is very nice, but could also be difficult to find the way from - and back to the...

The medina, or old, walled city that's the heart of Fes is a wonderland of dark, narrow, car free lanes and alleys, where a quarter million people live over the hundreds of shops lining the cobbled or dirt pathways. Thronged with people, donkeys, and importuning shopkeepers, old Fes is one of the world's wonders. The visitor can wander for hours,...
