This was our first time in a riad. It was beautiful and magical. Wish the weather was warmer but enjoyed mint tea and Moroccan cookies inside. Seems like it would be amazing during the summer months. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the beauty and the tour the riad organized for us. Felt very safe staying here. Pierre arranged for pick-up from the train station. Our train was late but the man was still waiting for us which was very assuring. My only complaint was the smell in the room. Not sure where it came from. Perhaps the pipes? It was unpleasant but I'm sure it is not the case in every room. We did try to change our room but the riad was booked. Overall, it was lovely and I would like to thank Pierre was his hospitality.

My two friends and I visited Fes for my birthday. I booked a Junior Suite while my friends booked there own room. The owners, John Pierre and his wife, were very nice and welcoming. We were greeted with Moroccan tea and biscuits. The property itself is very beautiful, spacious and well-maintained. The rooms were also spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served daily and there was variety. The staff was very helpful and provided tips to navigate around Fes and restaurant recommendations. John Pierre arranged for a tour guide to show us around Fes which was excellent; the tour guide was very knowledgeable and his rates were very reasonable. The Ryad views from the second floor and rooftop were stunning and it was fun people-watching during the daytime and evenings. The hotel was located in walking distance to the market with tons of options in terms of shops and restaurants. I most definitely see myself returning here and recommend this hotel to others :)

The charming owners have done a wonderful job of restoring this riad so that it retains Moroccan charm and styling but with French flair and style, The rooms are spacious and well appointed with beautiful, comfortable furniture, the four rooms we took as a family all had their own sitting areas, wonderful for those times when 5 minutes peace is needed. The riad has generous communal space both inside and out. The central atrium with gentle fountain has a collection of sofas, chairs and low tables, ideal for a game of chess or browse through the restoration photographs. The garden has a mulitude of shady spots and sun lovers will adore the roof terrace which also offers stunning views accross the Medina. Excellent service from all the staff, the lady managing breakfast knew on our second morning how everyone likes their coffee and was particularly kind. Location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the busiest streets in the Medina, close to the famous Blue Gate but far enough away to be its' own tranquil oasis.

I am so happy we stayed here. A wonderful Riad right in the Médina. The blue gate was very close and we could even find it without getting lost. The Riad is huge. There is a beautiful garden in the back with a swimming pool and a lovely roof top deck which overlooks the Médina. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise and sunset. Our room was very well decorated and large. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The bathroom had 2 sinks and a nice shower with amenities (hair dryer, shampoo, fancy soap). We took advantage of the laundry service. The owner is very nice and helpful answering our emails and arranging for a guide of the city which is highly recommended as it is easy to get lost in the city. Mustafa our guide was excellent and I would recommend requesting him. He was one of the best guides we have every had. Without a guide,l I feel we would have missed out on so much of Fes. He also arranged for transportation to Chefchaouen. Having breakfast and dinner was lovely at the Riad the food was excellent and we enjoyed looking at views of the city. It was quiet and peaceful. We decided to eat dinner at the Riad both nights. The staff are all very nice and gave us a map showing us how to get to different places in Fes. I would highly recommend this lovely Riad and hope to return on future trips to Fes.

Wonderful stay, beautiful Riad. Owned by a very pleasant and knowledgeable French couple. The owner outlines the city and good restaurants when you are checked in. The staff was exceptional.. super friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious—both dinner and breakfast. However breakfast is a little light. The owner set up a tour for us last minute with a great guide. They were also accommodating when we needed breakfast earlier than it is typically served, as we had an early pickup in the morning. Great location, just inside the Médina but close to car access. The only con was that, although the Riad is beautiful, it is older, so the plumbing in our bathroom was not good and left our room smelling like sewer after the toilet was flushed. Highly recommend overall!
