Despite the good location nearby one of the medinas gates, there is no advantage of staying there. We paid 350 dh for two nights in super off-peak (January). The biggest disadvantage was lack of any heater or radiator. When we asked for it, pensions worker offered a heater... but for the next day. Marrocan winter's nights are cold and we... More

Me and my friend had big problems to find a good and clean accommodation in Fes because the hotels and pensions trust the old versions of city guides where they are mentioned and described as good places to stay but don't keep the quality high. After a long search we went to Pension Batha in the Medina following the recommondation... More

I had a nice little single room without shower and toilet, but a sink. The mattress was distorted and at nightime is was quite loud from the street. No place for the cold season - I got freezing cold during the night and slept under my towels, because at the reception they couldn't offer additional blankets. The room and the bedlinen... More

I think there's quite a confusion about the pension and the hotel. I personally stayed at the simple, extremely basic pension Batha, which is simply too old, uncleanable, and noisy. I would understand low budget travelers to go there if there was no choice in Fes medina, but there is... So no good reason to stay there anytime. Unless they... More

We spent three nights here in October 2010. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and spoke English reasonably well. It's located just a few blocks from the entrance of the medina. Toilet and shower in the room. The place is quite basic, but met our expectations given the inexpensive rate. Includes light breakfast. A few tips...... More

Before coming to Fes, we made a phone call to book a one night reservation in this hotel. The person on the phone told us there were still rooms available and book a room for us. But when we arrived there, they told us that the hotel was already full and that they didn't book any room for us! GREAT!... More

This hotel's location is great and our room had a very nice plaster decoration. And that's about all the nice things I have to say about this place because the service is horrible. We left our luggage in our (locked) room and when we came back, noticed that someone had gone through my bag, moved my clothes and underwear and... More

Hello to Leylah and Ali, who were personable and fun getting to know. I was at the Batha for 8 days in April. while the location couldn't have been better, and the maid really did a thorough job cleaning it everyday, Omar, the owner, needs to put a little money or at least some effort into the place. The enamel... More

While the staff were friendly and helpful, they seemed adamant that the room, featuring concrete walls, an open passage to the bathroom, and no heating, would be warm enough to not warrant finding us extra blankets. We froze, and could see our breath as we shivered in bed the next morning. The stone-cold showers didn't help either. The towel provided... More
