We stayed at Dar Kenza for two nights - it is an absolutely beautiful building in the perfect location. The best part of our stay was chatting with the owner and his wife - they are absolutely wonderful, have great attention to detail, and gave great advice on restaurants, hammams, and sites to see.

I've been to 77 countries so far and stayed in many places (via Hostelworld). Dar Kenza is exceptional however - possibly the nicest I've ever stayed at. Najib the owner and his family were wonderful and really made us feel at home. They are lovely people. The place itself is beautiful with sumptous Moroccan decor, and felt very safe. The... More

I stayed at Dar Kenza this past weekend along with three friends. We are English teachers in Spain and wanted to explore Morocco for a long weekend. Dar Kenza was an excellent place to stay during our adventures. Najib the owner was exceptionably personable and a terrific resource. He himself is a tour guide of the city but freely offered... We spent three nights at Dar Kenza in Decmber (and extended our stay by one night). It was a very pleasant stay with very friendly and helpful hosts. Good breakfasts, nicely equipped room - nothing to fault.

A very reasonably priced for what you get and in a good location, about 5 - 10 minutes away from the Blue Gate (pretty much the start of the Souks in the old town in Fes). Najib is the owner with his very helpful wife and family. He is a tour guide himself, but was completely impartial when advising us... More

After a long day of travelling from Merzouga, I found myself greeted by Mr Naj and taken into a little slice of paradise in the otherwise loud and bustling city of Fes. Close to one of the major entrances to the Medina, this small charming riad is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The decor has been... More

We stayed the first two nights of our trip to Marocco at Dar Kenza, this seemed to be a perfect choise! Dar Kenza is situated in a normal street, behind a normal door, but once you enter the door it is like you enter a little palace. The owner of the place is very helpful, he gave us good advise... We started our Morocco trip here and returned at the end - it was by far the best place we stayed in. The restoration of the old building has been beautifully done, the hospitality was faultless, and breakfasts on the roof were wonderful, with a different selection each day. Dar Kenza is in a quiet peaceful location, while being close... More

This place was so beautiful! After a crazy travel day which took us all over morocco and getting lost in Fes we were so happy to be welcomed by the hosts at Dar Kenza. It was late when we arrived and we were hungry so the owner walked us down the street and convinced a local restaurant to stay open... More

Easily the most welcome we'd felt in Morocco, Naj and his wife were exceptional hosts giving us sound advice and making us feel very comfortable. The room felt grand and was a good bathroom too - with air con! Every day we were served a massive breakfast included in the price which made it feel like a bargain. Good location... More
