Beautiful riad in a great location in Fes. Bedr made our experience so wonderful. We felt at home and were treated so well The terrace in the perfect place to see a view of the city, the north tower, and to relax. Our room was perfect, clean, and felt truly Moroccan. We have made a friend for life in Bedr. You will not regret staying here! We were travelling as a couple, but there were also friend groups and a family staying while we were there. We felt we had tons of privacy!
We had a wonderful stay in Fes. Mahfoud really helped make our stay memorable and hospitable. He recommended places for us to eat and explore and provided exemplary service. Thanks so much for a great time!
We stayed here for four days, three nights. I would like to compliment Mahfoud and Ali for their superb service. They were kind, friendly and polite. Both speak good and understand english. Thanks again!
I give my highest recommendation to Riad Dar Guennoun. Everything, and I mean everything, was just perfect. For starters, the things you expect, like spotless rooms and bathrooms, a comfy bed in fresh cotton sheets and a good breakfast are all there. But there's more. The riad itself is beautiful, just stunning really. It is very old, but darned if I can remember specifically. Old enough to have gorgeous interior architecture. My room was so pretty and spacious. They also have laundry service if needed. The best part? The good folks who work there. Issam and Zenib in particular made feel genuinely welcome and cared for, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveling lady of a certain age. Zenib's smile is like morning sunshine whenever she greets you. One night I ran into Issam and he insisted on walking me back to the riad, which is located down one of the more easily found medina streets near a taxi area. How kind is that! Riad Dar Guennoun is the nicest of more than half a dozen riads --some quite fine-- where I've stayed in Morocco. This is where you want to lay your weary head.…
