We had a lovely 2 night stay at this Riad, the home of Lalla Fatima and her family. The family makes you feel so at home, like very very welcome guests-it's a pleasure to stay. As with all Riads the entrance is a nondescript door in an alley but the home inside is lovely. Good rooms, open courtyard and a... More

The thing that attracted me the most about Riad Lalla Fatima was the open courtyard with its trees and plants. I had seen several other riads in Fes but almost all of them had closed courtyards, which are lovely but I personally like to see the sun! Riad Lalla Fatima has two courtyards, an open one in their summer house... More

We had a magical stay with Lalla Fatima in her Riad. The home is a rambling, beautiful secret kept hidden behind the walls of the medina of Fes. The home features two gorgeous courtyards, both with colorful tile and delicately carved stonework. The orange and lemons trees and the fluttering of birds brings the outside into the interior space. Each... More

I tell you, we felt dubious. He said "my friend" a lot. He "wanted to help" us. He said his "friend had lost her husband, and now rented out rooms to pay the bills". He said "you want to eat real Moroccan food in Morocco, not McDonalds". And so we arrived at Riad Lalla Fatima, were welcomed like family, and... More

I've stayed at this wonderful home (yes, home) 5 times in the past 12 months. There are no doubt many fancy hotels, spas, palais etc, that offer various amounts of stars of service, and expensive luxury facilities, but I would not hesitate to choose Riad Lalla Fatima over those options again, even if the prices were there same (to be... The family is running this Riad and you feel at home immediately! Very nice suites and courtyards with tasteful decorations. Diner is served when requested and cooked by the mother of the house, excellent Moroccan cooking. Served in one of the 2 courtyards where also breakfast is served. Some rooms can be somewhat noisy when the neighboring suite is using... More

There is nothing bad to say about this place! It is inside the Medina, we arrived by train so they arrange a taxi to pick us up, that way we didn't get lost trying to get to the Riad, once you remember the way, you won't have any problem. The place is excellent our room was very nice and clean... More

The stay at the Riad was a great experience. All staff was very helpful and doing their best to make me feel at home. The room was great and warm, I loved it (Lalla Fatima suite). I did not realise that I was to pay in cash and did not have enough cash on hand. Rajae (manager) offered me then... More

I've stayed here twice, and on my first arrival (having my own transfer arranged) the manager was ready to greet me. Situated just round the corner to principal medina gate, Bab Ziat, the Riad has the benefit of being very near this access point, and is a short and easily-navigated stroll to the busier hub at Batha (for taxis etc)... “Rooms in the summer house have a view on an outdoor patio”

“I think my room was Aziza, which was nicely near to the main door I used to enter/exit the Riad, just above the patio for breakfast (during summer/autumn season I think anyway), and was really nice for myself, and would be equally nice for a couple. There seemed a range of other rooms and suites, which all seemed great also.”
