Amazing service and attention to detail. But the kicker is the food. If you agree that food is a part of the adventure of life, than you MUST stay at Dar All Safadi, because without question you will enjoy the best food in all of Fez and perhaps Morocco. If you stay elsewhere you are simply missing an opportunity of... More

Our family stayed here for about five nights, and we couldn't have been happier. If you want to visit Fez, then this is the place to stay! Chantal is an extremely welcoming host, and will help you with all aspects of your trip- whether it's booking a tour, getting directions to the medina, or having a delicious dinner, she's got... This charming riad has a great location in the medina of Fes. The view from the top terrasse is stunning. It was such a treat to take our delicious breakfast each morning looking out over the media and the mountains. The staff is reliable, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the princess room. It was lovely with touches of Moroccan... More

Lovely spot on the edge of the Medina. Charming spot, service was great. Food by Chantal was Fantastic - Make sure you get dinner there at least once! Affordable to stay at. Only one drawback was that that the bathwater wasn't the hottest. Chantal was a lovely as a host.

I travelled in Morocco with two friends last month and stayed in several mid-range riads but Dar Al Safadi was definitely my favourite. It is a traditional Moroccan mansion, tastefully decorated, with a large patio, a roof-garden with a gorgeous view of the Medina and large, comfortable rooms. The owner and the staff were the most friendly and helpful we... More

This is huge mansion with a coverd patio in its center. Rooms are located around it on two floors. There is a very nice terrace with great views on top. Rooms are large, clean and tastefully equipped. Bathrooms are good, as is the location, a short walk to the souq. However, best of all is the owner, Chantal, a loveley... More

Dar al-Safadi, the carefully restored house owned by Chantal, is a treat in every way. A 'budget' world-traveler all my life, this was perhaps the most luxurious place I've ever been in so I fully enjoyed the hedonist pleasures of the traditional house in the Fez medina. We were three couples from Canada visiting the Sacred Music Festival for a... More

We had planned this trip for a couple of months for my birthday celebration. We reserved all the Riads in different cities around Morcco but we still had to find a descent Riad in Fes. After many requests for reservations in different Riads and being rejected for being fully booked, I found Dar Al Safadi here in Tripadvisor. At first... More

You can't do better than this riad for the price. We were the only guests for four days, enjoying every part of this beautiful traditional Arab home and welcoming staff. Our suite was large and comfortable, with wifi in the courtyard. The rooftop terrace, with lounges, tables, and bouganvillia, shows the rooftops of Fes from morning til night. The sounds... More

By viewing the photos, we already knew that this place had a very ornate decor, furniture/structure somewhat dated. From prior reviews, many had said that the dinner is very good. I was sure to sign up for dinner w/ Chantal! The location wasn't too bad, about a 10 minute walk to the Medina. w/ that said, the location can be... More
