It is being renovated since 2013. It is taking time to get the original structure the same state as it was before. The idea is to have our guests live the real life as people did six centuries ago. It has a large open area in the center and 5 separate suites with their private baths. The four suites were for each wife and there was one master suite for the owner of the house.

Our experience here was great! It was recommended by our host on our way to our Riad. There are quite a few menu options, and all are traditional Moroccan dishes. When we first ordered we thought it was a little pricey until we realized the quality and quantity of the food we received. It consisted of four courses; every one of them being absolutely unique and delicious. She also explained everything we were eating which was nice. If your in Fes and you have a big appetite, I definitely recommend you stop here. The restaurant is a piece of art on its own with so much colour and detail on the walls around you while you eat. Road Ouliya is a fantastic place to stay in Fes. The riad itself is beautiful and quiet, and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast was super, and the dinner we had here one of the nights was great. Wonderful staff, would recommend highly to any visitors to Fes.

For sure the worse Riad of our ten days tour in Marocco. The room had no Windows (practically a bunker), it was very noisy and there was a strong smell of cooking because opening the door of the bedroom we where directly in the restaurant and close to the kitchen. In addition to this there was also a closed smell. Unbelievable considering that paying less we had a much better accomodation during our trip. NOT RECCOMENDED.

Great food and presentation. Hearty and plentiful. We had the chicken tangine with lemon, Padilla, turkey skewers and kefta. They were all amazing dishes. Padilla was a bit too sweet for us (cinnamon and sugar on top) but we were forewarned that it was sweet and still ordered it. The staff is amazing and graciously kind. We would eat here again.

I had the most amazing time in Riad Ouliya: the room was great and clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating (special mention to Adam and Ayoub who were amazing hosts) and also the food in the restaurant deserves a praise. I'd definitely come back and I'd recommend it to everyone!
