Valeria Jardins D'Agadir Resort, nestled in a prime location near shops and the beach, draws guests with its lively entertainment and traditional charm. While the hotel's service and rooms receive mixed reviews—ranging from praise for staff friendliness and room cleanliness to concerns about language bias and dated décor—many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds and variety of amenities, including pools and dining options. However, the additional costs for certain amenities and loud nighttime music occasionally mar the overall perceived value and tranquil atmosphere.

Just back from a good time here.
Highly recommend the hotel is clean and modern without being to sterile.

The food was delicious, plenty of choice for all three servings.
Yes its multi purpose and no you wont get bacon and eggs for breakfast but every day you can get a good selection of meals.

I acknowledge that the English language is not the second language (and the posters etc are also in English) and yes while I was here there were few English guests, but that's there loss!

I got by with a few school boy words of french and many of the staff do speak limited English.

Yes the entertainment is mostly in French but if you want to take part in water aerobics you just go with the flow, the entertainment staff were very friendly and helpful.
The music by the pool was a little loud for me, but I just put my headphones on and blocked it out.

My only complaint was noise late at night from the nearby disco, but it wasn't deafing by any degree.
As to the complaints about the bar being a pay bar between 2300 and midnight, well if you have not had enough to drink between 10am and 10pm I pity you and your kidneys, the free drinks are local beer and spirits and cocktails no complaints from me.

Oh one last top tip, between the entrance and the bar, behind the toilets is a small courtyard which is a perfect sun trap and much quieter than some areas

Lovely hotel with good sized rooms and great staff, Khalid the hospitality manager could not have done more to make us welcome, Fatama cleaned our room and made amazing towel art, Mustafa makes the best iced Irish coffee make sure you request one, the entertainment staff do not speak much English however did make a good effort to include us. Big thank you to all
Wifi is less impressive you can get wifi in rooms and near the restaurant but not near the pools or most of the outside seating areas lots of locked networks so could easily be resolved. Bar near the quiet pool only serves coffee or juice when staffed and the private beach location is at least 600 plus meters with no bar/ coffee facilities.

This hotel made us feel so relaxed and at ease; the staff are friendly and helpful, and, for those Brits who are suspicious of the French, the French visitors were just as friendly - as a Brit you will not feel excluded! The decor is to die for if you love everything Moroccan; the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The all inclusive food is good, although if you are looking for burgers you will be disappointed. Yet there was enough variety for every palate, even for our conservative 5 year old grandson who has recently decided to become vegetarian! The pools are varied, something for everyone, and we were impressed that the lifeguards at the water slides make sure that only children who are tall enough can use them. We cannot praise this hotel enough, and we cannot wait to go back! Au revoir not adieu!

the hotel is very nice with great staff (reception, bar, room, and restaurant) however there are some details to look at for just a bit of change, but in general, it is not of a big deal
the only negative point is the hotel management allow some people to enter to the hall to sell their excursions..
the khalid from world2meet guy is a very bad guy because we did not take excursions with him so he does not even say hello anymore and he avoids us all the time.. it is not Professionnel from him, and he did not want to confirm our transfer back to the airport and because of that, we struggled and we took a taxi because we did not want to miss our flight. piece of advice: if you want to go on a city tour or anything else; do take the excursions with Taxi ABDUL it is cheaper and safer for your money.
there is another Khalid in the hotel (guest service) and if you feel that you want or need anything at all you can go to him and he is all ears for you.
the swimming pool is heated for about 26 dergrees. the Narjis restaurant was great as well and the belly dancer was awesome too.
we will come back inshalla. :)

Really enjoyed our weeks break, lots of positives but some niggles that could easily be fixed as well.
Staff in the most are very helpful and friendly, Yousef is a top class bloke, always had time for you and never passed without a chat, even joined us for lunch one day as an opportunity to broaden his English speaking, I thought this was good.
Reception staff a great help and very friendly especially the boss man, answering all questions at any time. Housemaids/cleaners are fantastic, towels made into crocodiles, elephants, dogs, peacocks etc.. great surprise when you come back to the room after a day toasting by the heated pool.

Rooms are a decent size although balconies are small, unfortunately ours looked onto the gardens and main road, gardens are lovely but traffic noise might be an issue for some, block 8 room 841.

Main pool is heated so it is a pleasant dip without loosing your breath like you do at the quiet smaller pool, nice and deep for a dive in after sunbathing. Staff at the towel station by the pool seem to be a law unto themselves, looking after certain guests really well while trying to take your parasol for one of their chosen visitors. Posted missing while people are looking for towels etc...

Found the food very good, hot breakfast limited but does have someone cooking omelettes, fried egg etc to order and very pleasant she was to. Plenty cereal, pastries, fruit and fruit juices also, scrambled/boiled eggs and some other stuff I was not very sure of, lol.
Lunch and dinner was good, ranging from seafood to chicken, beef, lamb, chicken and chicken, lol, great salad bar as well as plenty hot sides, even chips now and then even though I dont eat them.

I like my beer so beer served in small paper cups at the pools, half full of foam was quite frustrating, Pouring classes could be on the cards I would say, lol.. reusable plastic cups could be used as even having a soft drink these cups dont quench the thirst.

Probably focused on the small negatives here more than I should as it was a great place and a great holiday, but these are the things that would have made it 5* instead of 4*, thanks for a great holiday, loved it in the most.

Me and my partner had a fantastic time we felt that the surrounding were stunning with the surrounding gardens brilliantly maintained, the house keeping came every day keeping our room fresh and some lovely towel sculptures. The food was great and the Al la Carte dinning was amazing experience and worth the extra money, we went on multiple excersions which were all brilliant with a wide range of choices from trips to the atlas mountains to camel rides ( would recommend a camel ride lots of fun).

The in-house activities are lead by an enthusiastic team who try there best to include everyone even us who could not speak French and made us feel part of the experience. A special thank you to Abdel who made us feel very welcome and helped a lot with translating ,though the all the staff do know English to some degree. The only criticism was that the evening entertainment was pretty much all in french ( understandable as it is a French speaking resort). Overall I have had an amazing time and would definitely come back again (would do a bit of french on duolingo before going) thanks for the fantastic holiday 😁

Sincerely
Nick and Julie

Dear Nick and Julie, Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us. We are thrilled to hear that you and your partner had a fantastic time and created beautiful memories during your stay. We take great pride in maintaining our stunning surroundings and are delighted that you found the gardens to be brilliantly maintained. It's also great to know that the housekeeping team took good care of your room, ensuring it was fresh and even creating towel sculptures for you. We're glad that you enjoyed the food and had an amazing experience with our à la carte dining. It's wonderful to hear that you took advantage of the variety of excursions available and had a fantastic time exploring different activities, such as trips to the Atlas Mountains and camel rides. We appreciate your recommendation for the camel ride as a lot of fun. Our enthusiastic activities team strives to make everyone feel included, regardless of language barriers. We're glad that Abdel made you feel welcome and provided valuable assistance with translation. While our staff has some degree of English proficiency, we understand that the evening entertainment being primarily in French could be a small drawback. We will take note of your feedback and explore ways to enhance the entertainment options for guests who may not speak French fluently. Thank you for your kind words and for considering a return visit. We would be delighted to welcome you back and provide another fantastic holiday experience. If you decide to brush up on your French with Duolingo before your next visit, we're sure it will add an extra touch of enjoyment. Once again, we appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing our resort to create beautiful memories Warm regards, KHALID LAASRI Guest Experience Manager.

We stayed for a week and had a great holiday. All the staff try to speak English some better than others but can honestly say never felt inferior because we were English. Food was very good although breakfast was a bit limited if you like a full English. Limited meats and always big queue for eggs and omelettes. Lots of pastries. Room was spacious and clean. The staff are constantly cleaning and although the hotel a bit tired in places always clean. Gardens well looked after. The pool was warm but could be quite crowded and animation bit loud, there was a lively quiet pool but not heated DJ cold in December. The waiting staff were excellent remembered our wine choices and was delivered a full bottle as we sat down at every meal. The bar entertainment is a bit cheesy but kept people amused. Agadir itself is new and not particularly Moroccan but cleans and tidy. Big beach and hotel has its own section with beds but is a good 10 min walk.

We decided to come to Morocco for a relaxing Christmas and New year. We were greeted in reception when we arrived and straight was asked if we needed food as we had arrived at the end of lunch time . The restaurant didn’t disappoint there was a good variety of food to suit different tastes at all meal times and afternoon tea .
The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds and a beach bar . The Animation team kept people busy having fun if you wanted to join in , and was amazing for all when Santa arrived I think some adults were just as excited as the children. Our room was on the third floor next time I will request a low floor has I have mobility issues. The housekeeping staff were fantastic always having big smiles and keeping the room clean and fresh even leaving us towel animals that made me smile .
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve spectaculars were definitely a sight to be seen and a small gift from the hotel was very appreciated.
The hotel has a private bit of beach at step 17 plenty of beds and very clean Rashid who takes care of this area was wonderful and really helpful.
All of the staff were really friendly and helpful nothing was to much especially Khalid who speaks really good English rushing from one thing to another to make sure it ran smoothly. We would definitely go back and enjoy the hospitality of this hotel, I could go on but go visit and see

We stayed here for our first trip to Morocco.

Arriving around 8.30 on a Saturday night we were greeted by the reception staff and given our wristbands quickly so we could get some food before dinner service finished at 9.00.

Our room was nice with balcony and all areas very clean - very hard working cleaning staff.

The grounds are very pretty and there are 4 pools to cater for all ages.

All the staff here are truly brilliant! Funny, entertaining and great with the kids.

The bar and restaurant have good selections (food especially) which includes a different theme each night so plenty to go at.

Khalid (customer relations - next to reception) was extremely helpful, sorted us out with a taxi company for visiting Crocoparc. Which we also used to go to Marrakech.

For us there is a special mention to the animation team. Simo, Zidane, Oussama, Mimi and all the others were absolutely amazing - making the kids first holiday one that they will never forget and neither will we.

Thanks to all of you.

Alex & Leanne

We visited as a large group of family with both teenagers and a young child.
This is a very nice hotel with traditional decor both in the rooms and around the hotel.
3 pools to choose from and we spent plenty of time at all of them.
The sun loungers at the main pool were fine but the ones at the slides pool and quiet pool were in real need of replacing. They are so worn that you fall into them when you sit on them as they are very saggy in the middle and the same goes for the parasols. They are very old and tired and falling apart. Again at the main pool they are of a much newer quality.

The complex is quite large so it can take some time to walk around it all from pool to pool and pool to room etc but it is all very well kept and easier when you find a few short cuts!
Animation team are good, yes it is all in French and it is a French guest hotel but they will translate into English when they have English guests joining in and the signs all around the restaurant and hotels are also in English as well as French.

The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they allowed me to change rooms when our first allocated room was not suitable for our needs and I was very grateful for this.
There is lots of steps around and no lifts. I did manage with a pushchair but I can imagine wheelchair users would struggle a lot both in the rooms and around the hotel.
The rooms have a step down from one part to the other and the outside balcony/terraces are very small. You have a table and 2 chairs but it’s very cramped.

The restaurant and bar area is well organised with plenty of tables. The food wasn’t to our taste though. There was a variety of meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, rices and desserts but not really much at all for children and it gets extremely samey. We got very sick of the same meat/chicken/rice every day for lunch and dinner and ate out quite often.
They did pizza and chips outside in the afternoons but my toddler had to live on plain pasta and McDonald’s all week as she wouldn’t eat any of the other things on offer and that was the same for most of us. It just wasn’t all that good unfortunately.

Other than the food the hotel is lovely, the pools are great, the staff are very helpful and polite, everything is clean and the hotel is in a good location. It’s quite a walk to the main strip but if you hop in a taxi it only takes a few minutes to get there and the taxis are very reasonably priced.

Dear NikkiTKS, Thank you for taking the time to provide such a detailed review of your experience at our hotel. Your feedback is valuable, and we're delighted to hear you enjoyed many aspects of your stay. We appreciate your understanding regarding the predominantly French-speaking environment; however, we aim to be inclusive, and we're glad to know that the animation team was able to translate and provide an enjoyable experience for our English-speaking guests. It's great to hear that our reception staff could assist you in changing rooms to better suit your needs. Your point about the limited options for children's meals is well noted. We continuously strive to enhance our dining offerings and will consider this feedback for improvements. Thank you for acknowledging our beautiful grounds, pools, helpful staff, cleanliness, and convenient location. We're pleased you could explore the area with ease using taxis. Your comprehensive review helps us to work towards making each guest's experience even better. We hope to welcome you back in the future and provide you with an even more enjoyable stay. Warm regards, The Valeria Jardins d'Agadir Team
