We (family - mum, dad, two children 12/14) recently returned from a trip to surf between Taghazout and Agadir with the fantastic Banana Surf Crew. Having spent the summer enjoying surf experiences in Cornwall, Bristol and the SW France we felt ready for something that would try and get us to the next level and it was amazing to ride longer waves in an incredibly peaceful and tranquil space. We were lucky to have superb conditions but what really made the trip were all of the team from Banana Surf. From before the trip we were able to liaise with Khalid via email, phone and WhatsApp which allowed us to be very prepared. They were incredibly flexible with us on timings whilst explaining where and what time would be the best conditions. They arranged to collect us each day from our hotel and drop us in return and they kept us in the water pretty much as long as we wanted (or in the coaches words - until you’re tired!haha).

Thanks so much to all of the team. To Khalid for being so available. For HD (Pablo!!!) for making our trips to and from the surf school so interesting (we learned a lot about Morocco from you, thanks). Last but certainly not least to Aatif, our incredible instructor, who made us feel welcome and confident as we managed our first time in the Moroccan Waves. To all of the others who made our time at the Surf School HQ so welcoming and easy, thanks. And of course to all of the wonderful puppies!

Thanks Team Banana Surf.
Merci, grand amour, à bientôt. L'équipe Butch

Amazing 1 month of surf, sun and relax! The Banana Surf House is located right on the beach with a perfect point break where the waves are always perfect for surfing. The food is amazing, the house is very clean and the vibe is unreal! Mama Aicha cooks delicious Moroccan cuisine twice a day making sure everyone is well nourished after the surf sessions. Make sure to book the surf guiding package and you will be taken to the region’s most beautiful surf spots including the amazing Imsouane! The instructors are very good local professionals who have been surfing in the region for over 20 years and always know which spots are the best on the day. Aziz and Khalid will make sure that you develop your surf skills regardless of your experience. The team is very organized from booking till the airport drop off; my entire stay was super smooth, they really work hard to please the guests no matter what their wishes are. When you are not surfing you can chill on the scenic rooftop of the surf house or by the long sandy beach 11KM, go for a massage or hammam experience, visit the local souk on Wednesdays, or sign up for rooftop yoga. The shops and restaurants are within walking distance you will find everything you might need, post office, tabac shop, pharmacy, ATM etc. The Banana team even organized evenings of traditional Berber campfire, nights out in Agadir bowling, playing pool and partying. If you are looking for not only an accommodation and a surf school, but a cultural experience and family like hospitality, this is the place for you!

Merci beaucoup Tissali family,
Mendi

If you want to kick-start your surf hobby or learn more, Banana Surf is the place to stay. The teachers are excellent - they teach you surfing technique and how to read the waves.
The house, for its part, is decorated with love and good taste. The home-cooked food is really tasty.
And if you want to something else than surf, the team knows all the most beautiful day trip locations around.
All in all, Banana Surf offers you a perfect, worry-free surf holiday.
Until the next time, Khalid, Aziz and Omar and the Tissali family!

In every aspect, this is the place that makes you want to stay. Khalid, his friends and family are the most warm and welcoming squad you can hit upon. They are the best surf instructors, the simply 'have' the best atmosphere, the best food, the best rooftop with a view, the best family, the best Moroccan vibe, the best friendship, the best in everything. Surfing at every level. On different spots if necessary. You simply do not want to leave. This goes absolutely for myself, but also for all our children (age 15-27). We spent the best time possible. I hesitated to write this review, as I do not want you all to come and spoil it ;-) (just kidding...)

I had an awesome time with Banana Surf Morocco! The Banana Boys (Khalid, Aziz, Omar, Ismael) are beautiful people, and I don't mean in terms of physique, though they were easy on the eyes ;) The Banana Boys are warm, hospitable, accommodating people with a heart of gold. They are willing to bend over backwards to help you enjoy your stay. I felt like I was staying at a friend's or a family's home. Plus we were spoiled rotten with daily homecooked Moroccan meals. Mama Aisha worked magic in the kitchen.

I will admit that I was attracted more by the idea of a yoga retreat rather than surfing. I did try surfing a few times and felt it was not for me. It's not the teacher's fault, I know my own limits. However, yoga with Lamia was amazing! Imagine starting your day with a yoga session on the rooftop terrace, the sky is blue, the warmth of the sun on your skin, the sounds of birds chirping, the crashing of the waves and occasionally the crowing of a rooster surrounding you. It was a surreal experience - got me thinking what kind of paradise did I go to? Other than yoga and surfing, we went out on excursions in the surrounding area. Be ready to dance and sing along when on a roadtrip with Omar.

I spent approximately 2 weeks there and enjoyed every bit of it! The vibe was chill, relax plus I got an awesome vacation glow to make all the office people jealous.:) I highly recommend Banana Surf Morocco for a stress free, relaxing vacation among friends.

The Banana House is the perfect "match" for everybody who wants surf, relax, have a lot of fun, take some action, make culture and just be crazy. Banana surf morocco is not just a place for making holidays, it's a place, where you meet friends and after a few seconds ;) you're feeling home! We have never been at place, where we got more hospatility! For everybody who reads this: YOU HAVE TO GO THERE!!!!!!!
We slept in the "villa jardin de l'océan", where you have a perfect view over the ocean! Andre and his family made our stay great with a tasty breakfast at the terrace! The rooms are perfect and daily cleaned. The banana house corporated with the villa, so you can sleep in very comfortable appartments (everything was new!!!), where you can hear nothing - except the ocean :) In the morning, we had to go a looooooong way to the banana house ;) maybe about "3 Minutes"!!!

The surfing:
We were 3 times surfing at different places and we had to say: at the banana surf we learnd the most!
The house is very close to the beach: take your neo, your board and let's get ready to rumble! ;) The classes are not overloaded like in other camps, so the teachers have enough time to teach everbody individually. Everbody will raise up the level and will have a lot of crazy fun in the water. Aziz, Ismael, Jalil and Omar are really competent and nice motivators and trainers in the waves, so "scheiß druff" and enjoy your rides! You got it ;)
There are mostly (depending on the waves) two sessions - that is not usually in surfcamps. And two sessons for this price ---> nice ;)

House and Lunch:
After the sessions you will get a really. tasty and fresh prepared typical moroccan meal. There is nothing more to say as: yummy, yummy, yummy you got love in your tummy ;)
In the evening you will get a tasty dinner or (sometimes) you will go out eating with the team! Of course in really good restaurants! It is a good possibility to visit other places and bars ;)

The Banana house team is always looking for his guests; that they enjoy the stay, the food etc. You need some action in the afternoon? No problem: Jalil walks with you to the mountain, Aziz and Omar dances with you trough the house or Ismael makes some sports with you at the beach! And if your are lazy: just lay on the roof terrace and enjoy the sun.

Thank you Khalid, Emelie, Omar, Aziz, Jalil and Ismael - you made our trip amazing and unforgettable!

Be aware, the crazy german will be back ;)

We randomly found their cousy surf shop when walking to the beach. Me and my girlfriend wanted some surflessons. Here we met Khalid and Aziz. They were very relaxed from the very first moment, and told us it was no problem to have surflessons together even though our level of surfing was slightly different.

They took us to their beach house (with an amazing view over the ocean!!) where they gave us the surfboards and wetsuits. At this house we also met his brother Mohammed. Every day they looked for the best waves for our level, which made us feel very confident in the water. Great and easy to understand instructions so we made progress and learned something new every day.

But it wasn't only surfing where these guys want to teach you something. They want to show you the complete maroccan surf life. Eating new things (Mohammed knows how to make truly delecious food!), showing the village, drinking maroccan tea, and of course chilling out after surf. If you're looking for the most complete surf experience, you should definetly go to these guys.

Perfect, relaxed, professional, local, well organized, good fun, food and surf!

This is the second time I was here and the first time with these guys. I definitely loved it and will come back again, booking with them for sure.
Very professional surf instructors, sweet and fun guys who want to see you improve every day. They are terrific guides and know the best surf spots and beautiful places in the area.
Often having lunch or dinner at restaurants where mainly locals eat. That means you get to enjoy the best tajines! Fresh fruits and vegetables. Buying fish of the fishermen and have the freshest fish grilled for lunch right at the spot.
Instead of surf I wanted to do SUP boarding, Stand Up Paddle for my lessons and this is no problem for them, they are great teachers.
For good after surf recovering you can choose, go to a spa resort hamam or to a local hamam. Or have a massage. They arrange anything and everything for you.
The appartement was very good, clean, warm shower every day, quiet and with a nice rooftop terrace.
Thank you so much Khalid, Aziz, Aatif and all the other guys for taking such good care of us and for the good food and fun. See you soon again :-)
