Caribbean Village Agador boasts a vibrant atmosphere and hospitable staff, according to reviews, which also commend its beach proximity and diverse dining options. However, guests have called out the hotel's need for updates in decor and amenities, including the spotty WiFi and aging room features. While the rooms are generally kept clean, there are occasional complaints about linens and towels. Despite being budget-friendly, some travelers warn of extra expenses due to the hotel's shortcomings in services and maintenance.

Family of 4 just back home after two fantastic weeks staying here 6-20th February 2020. All of the staff were amazing, the food is fresh and varied and there was plenty of choice for everyone! The kids loved the Animators who work extremely hard in keeping everyone entertained with dancing, sport activities and singing. The gardens are immaculate and the gardeners are busy working every day to keep on top of everything. Although the bedrooms are very dated they were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and we only had to ask if we needed extra soap or towels - but really how much time do you spend in your room on holiday! Can't thank all of the staff for making our holiday so special but would like to say a big thank you to Ilham (one of the cleaning staff in block 26) Anouar (who was our breakfast and dinner waiter) and last but not least to the best daytime barman Faiz Mohammed at the pool bar! Would recommend this hotel for it's cleanliness, hospitality and access to the beach (8 min walk), great value for money

Well what can I say about my holiday only that I was really scared about what to expect after reading the reviews but I must say I was surprised once I got there. The hotel is huge and has lots to do for active kids, golf course, tennis court but to use the gym and the spa you have to pay extra which I thought was not fair especially if its an all inclusive hotel. The pool wasn't heated like it said during the winter months but we didn't mind as the weather was very good. The rooms was OK only some rooms had air condition, so if you are travelling during the summer months make sure it's a room you book with air condition. The room didn't have a mini fridge even though it is an all inclusive hotel so if you need a drink you have to go to the lobby or the hotel bar to get one. One thing does need to change is the bedding which is very old and tacky and even though the rooms was cleaned everyday the bedding wasn't changed daily. We stayed 10 days and it was not changed once only dusted and made the bed. The stuff working there are very nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel had a laundry & ironing service which you have to pay for but it was cheap but surprisingly how some guests tried to haggle with that as well, absolutely shameful. We will love to return to this hotel coz even with some downside it was an amazing holiday we had.

What to expect: spotlessly clean hotel with very friendly staff and very active, loud animation team who certainly work for their money. Luke warm food of little variety and long waits for dishes to be replenished. Two "a la carte" restaurants which actually aren't, one moroccan, one pizza restaurant which offer a set menu. Very basic rooms cleaned daily. Very much like a Moroccan Butlins!
What not to expect: ALL INCLUSIVE! Fridge, kettle, hairdryer, safe, snacks except burger & chips ALL cost extra. No bottles of water, you can use the water machine with a plastic cup or refill your own bottle. Don't expect to lie and relax peacefully at the pool with a bar close by, main pool has constant music/games, small pools have no bar facilities.

I have stayed here before but it has gone down hill!! Yes the rooms are dated & there is no aircon, but the food & maid situation is beyond a joke.
A basic need on holiday is food/towles/linen.

There is never any plates at lunch/dinner . Its the same rubbish everyday, & I am not a fussy eater at all. Its just pasta & chips, chicken or beef everyday, the queues for chips/pasta are unbelievable, they cook it while you all queue. Everyday they know it will be lunch/dinner yet none is cooked ready for when guests arrival at the set eating times. So by the time you make it back to your table with the chips the rest of your food is cold. & if you ask for cheese which is hidden under the counter you are frowned upon. 1 man cooking the pasta told me "you make me miserable" when I asked for some grated cheese ontop, how rude!

We have had to call reception everyday & ask for towels or linen on our beds as 6pm when we return to our room the maids still havent fixed it even though we have asked throughout the day when returning to the room.
Yesterday 8.30pm we eventually got towels so we could shower. We missed our table booked for dinner as we had to wait so long for towels, (we are having to eat out as the food is so terrible).

The pool area is filthy, used straws, hair, tissues, cups, rubbish all under/between beds. The pool area & beds aren't washed down at night, the pool beds are covered in built up grime which has made our costumes & towels dirty & marked.
The other pool isn't open, nor is the snack bar, they're both closed, theres only a crepé/panini hut which is chargeable.

The bar only has 4 spirts, & has ran out of alcohol twice.

On the way down to the show area there is a light built into the wall with no cage/protection around it which my toddler badly burnt her hand on going down the stairs holding onto the wall on one side & my hand on the other, all her fingers & palm got burnt & are blistered.

The animation team are fab, Harriet is lovely.
Bar staff are lovely.
Reception was friendly on check in.

But unfortunately food & hygiene is awful!!

The complex is made up of 2 hotels however other other hotel is closed so there is only 2 of the 5 restaurants open and 3 of the 5 pools open .

Pros
The entertainment team really do make this place they had shows and discos every night . They get everyone involved we had a great laugh .
The restaurant and bar staff are friendly and give a good service
The cleaning staff kept are room clean and made the bed each day again were very friendly.
Good location for the beach and restaurants and shops near by
The rooms are traditional Moroccan
The meal we had in the Moroccan restaurant was brilliant
Breakfast was plentiful omelettes and pancakes available with rest continental

Cons
Not all rooms have air con
The hotel is in need of TCL its seen better days
Many people went days without hot water in there rooms
Our room the toilet kept flushing and you had to bang it to get it to stop
there in need of new seats in the lobby area they were uncomfortable and had their day.
Theres no snacks available . its all inclusive. breakfast was 7 till half 10 . Lunch was severed 12 till 2:30. evening meal was 7pm till 9:30pm. you could get burgers from 12 till 3pm
The ice cream and snack stall and crepes were all additional cost which for all inclusive they should of been included .
Food was mixed some nights was fantastic others it was limited choice or but cold.

From previous reviews before we came, we come based on the reviews but they must be paying people to upload them because there all LIES!! The pool is Absolutely disgusting and full of Algae .. All our kids swim suits/shorts are ruined!!! I’ve attached pictures and this is after a soaking and two washes !!

The rooms are very basic which is fine because all you do is sleep there, but we had plug sockets hanging off walls and our electric kept blowing. It’s just like Faulty Towers.

Housekeeping isn’t up to scratch either, numerous evenings we would come back for our evening shower to get ready and there would be no towels, rather no towels or only 1 big one and 2 tiny ones only good enough to dry your feet with. I asked the cleaners many times for extra towels as I had 4 people in our room, and never received any. Don’t think we ever received more then one large one. Numerous evenings we also didn’t have any toilet roll and had to chase a cleaner down to ask for some.

We moved rooms twice due to no electric and no air con .. Note - Not all rooms have air con!!

Once eventually in a room with working electric , the air con didn’t work.. After numerous trips to reception we gave up on the air con situation and decided to keep balcony doors open and got ate alive 🙄

Food is like something out of prison and pretty much a free for all.. Nobody has ever heard of a queuing system, everyone is extremely rude and it gets to near point of scrapping for chips (which aren’t even cooked properly). We even witnessed food being snatched off peoples plates by other guests, it was appalling to say the least. We ate out for tea everyday and visited the crepe man for dinner. Which is on the resort but you have to pay for.

Drinks choices wasn’t all bad, and the waiters at the pool bar area were fantastic, extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Was always accommodating our needs . This being my main positive point of the holiday. Everything else, well I can’t say on here.

The entertainment staff were also great, they were very interactive and plenty to do throughout out the day and night. The night shows were also great for the kids.

We are a family of 10 just arrived just back from 10 nights here. Firstly, we have been to this hotel 6 times before covid and had a great experience all times in the Caribbean and Eu Pablo Tamlelt. Read reviews before coming and was dubious but decided to return as loyal customers knowing morocco tourism is struggling coming out of 2 year lockdown. Check in was slow, we did get our 3 family rooms requested by pool but they were not ready until many hours later. Big towel problem now here. No clean towels daily until 7-8pm. Showers cold every day. The cleaners look tired and over worked now so felt bad moaning to them. We did have a toilet leak which took 4 days of complaining on the phone, going to reception and to the rep and eventually it was fixed day 5. Floor flooded which was unsafe for kids so we had to mop up with our precious towels and no others spare!. The food is probably the biggest change here. I would say less than half out now. Limited options, tagine daily and if kids want fries queues could be up to 40minutes. No deserts anymore, just fruit which most people were fighting for. All the special touches from what was a great hotel are gone. The feature restaurants weren't all open. Just Moroccan and Italian which alternated. We had a nice set meal in the Italian which was as good as before. Snack bar has moved and is disappointing now. It felt like a hassle to get served there. Staff are really worked hard and don't have as much to give. On the plus side the entertainment staff are all amazing and made our holiday great. The entertainment team were new but so good and friendly. Bar staff lovely too. Thanks to the staff we had an excellent holiday. We will miss the amazing Hicham, Abdol, Tariq and Nina who did a great job in the kids club. It was lovely to see old faces there like camel man and egg man but most have gone now. We did have a great experience here again as this hotel have a great set up for entertainment and good programme which makes good memories. I think there is a huge management problem now with this hotel and if they don't act quick they will end up shutting down. I have tried to be fair but sadly we are going to be looking to find a new Agadir hotel in future.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 12 years and I will agree it is a little outdated and could do with a makeover, however it is not the worst hotel in the world as some reviews would have you believe.
It is clean you see the cleaners all day every day, they never stop.
The pools are clean, again you see them being cleaned daily, along with washing the sunbeds and mattresses.
The food, you can always find something you like from all the offerings available to say the food is inedible and you HAD to eat out everyday is ridiculous, and I really don't know what you were expecting from a 3 star hotel?
The Staff, I have known some of the staff here for many years and the same rule applies here as it does anywhere, if you are polite to them they will be to you, from my experience the only people who have an issue with the staff are those that treat them like servants, and quite frankly the way I have seen some quests speak to staff I am surprised they were given any service at all.
If you have booked a holiday to go here, go have a great time, don't expect 5 star luxury, be nice to the staff and you will have a great time

Found waiters and animation team very friendly and helpful, but receptionist was rude and very unhelpful. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel , the room was clean , but very cold , heater did not work and no remote for TV , which meant you couldn't watch it.They charged us £16 to use the room safe as well an hotel tax added on. You are also pestered by franchise stalls that are set up within the hotel. and will not be coming back.

We booked 10 days for our first visit to Morocco. Whilst the pandemic has obviously hit this place hard, for the money we paid we can’t fault the place. The rooms were basic but clean, we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay.

The restaurant staff were amazing, we had so much fun with them and they went above and beyond, including a very touching and special memory of a great fortieth birthday for my partner which he celebrated whilst we were there. A table was set up specially for us, with the team singing happy birthday and a wonderful cake with candles. An experience we will not forget! The food was good, although limited in choice if you are looking for variety, but there are plenty of restaurants at reasonable prices around the area that you can get a fix of something ‘different’ if you needed it.

A special thank you to Rashid, who was one of the kindest people we had the pleasure of meeting, his patience and guidance on the tennis courts made our stay even more wonderful.

Whilst the entertainment wasn’t our thing, the team work very hard to ensure that people have fun with what is clearly a limited budget.

Honestly, if you are looking for an all inclusive break where you get everything on tap and massive choices, this isn’t the place for you, if you want a value for money stay, clean basic accommodation and an excellent base to explore the beautiful country of Morocco, where the hospitality of the people is warm and friendly, and they are genuinely pleased to see you everyday, then this could just be the place for you.

We will certainly return.

Not exactly sure what the block numbers are around the pool area, but one thing to keep in mind is that all the entertainment is based around there, so noisy, & hustle & bustle till after midnight when the bar stops serving.
