Myself and partner stayed here. We arrived with low expectations as we were told that this area was really a very developing country. With both of us coming from hospitality management in Ireland we allow for mistakes and mishaps which happens everywhere. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Room was immaculate and cleaned daily with fresh towels and shower gels Pool was extremely clean. Snack bar was reasonably priced. Miriam at reception was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The only thing we would recommend is to look at the breakfast hot food offering

Do not stay at this hotel. It is filthy and the staff are rude. Booked in here on 31 Aug 2019. The reception staff are incompetent. They are dealing with 6 different things at one time so check in can take hours. We were given room 3135 and while we were being shown to the room the Porter said that if we weren't happy with our room we should go to reception after breakfast next day to request a change. The room we were in was old dreary dirty and needed to be updated. There were stains and scrapes on the walls. The bed cover had stains and the bathroom was filthy. The bath was old and badly worn. The furniture had lumps out of it and it needed to be thrown out. The pictures of the rooms in brochures and on the website are reflective on about 20 of the rooms in the hotel out of 238. I requested a better room the next day and was shown to 2 rooms that were in a similar condition to the room I was in and then the receptionist wanted e150 to upgrade met their superior suites as they called them. The carpets in the common areas were worn and dirty and even a hoovering did nothing. While we were the the electricity went off but only came on in the hallway. After 1 and 1/2 hrs in the dark I had to go to reception to get them to sort the problem and they were very rude about having to do it. People were also asleep fully stretched on the sofas in the lobby. We stayed 1 night and moved to another hotel the next day. Don't not stay here. Save your money and book somewhere else.

A holiday to remember. Oh where do I begin.. it was my mom and i's first time travelling to Agadir, morocco and wow what more can I say! We stayed only a week in August 2019 but turns out we really need 2 weeks or even longer in this beautiful location. We stayed in hotel Aragana and we couldn't of picked a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived until the last minute we left we where treated like we had known everyone for years. Each individual staff member throughout the hotel was not only welcoming but friendly, helpful and you'd nearly mistake some of them for being Irish because of how they where so up to date with the Irish banter, which is a win win in every situation. Each morning we attended breakfast and always had a table saved for us by the most welcoming "MOO MOO" and "ABDUIL". They where always so friendly, happy and accommodating to us. The food in the breakfast buffet was always freshly prepared by the hard working chefs with a variety of foods from, omelettes, Pancakes, cereals, Croissants, eggs and a variation of cold and hot drinks. We also enjoyed the dinner buffet in the evenings most nights, also having a variation of salads, meats, fish, fruits and deserts. I would defiantly recommend eating Friday night for Moroccan night to get a real feel of morocco. The rooms where cleaned each morning by excellent cleaners with fresh towels every morning. We never had any problem with our room each day it was spotless. We enjoyed our days by the pool, mostly ran by the hard-working, friendly, caring lifeguard "HAMZA" who does most of the work by himself, going through the efforts of helping you getting your sun bed, umbrella and even joining on games of table tennis tournaments! He is always around ready to help if you needed it, he simply doesn't get enough praise of all the hard work that he does! Also joining hamza with the entertainment was "BOB" who is almost like one of our own, joining in the water polo games, table tennis games and always has the pool music playing the newest songs. You could find him anywhere from talking to the locals, bantering with the Irish or just simply dancing inside the music box. While on my holiday I celebrated my birthday on the Monday and both "HAMZA" and "BOB" surprised me by announcing it over the pool speaker and playing happy birthday for everyone to hear! We later then spent the evening at the snack bar, where I was surprised with a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne with everyone singing happy birthday, it was definitely one of the best birthdays I've ever had! Sipping on fresh cocktails made by the waiters in the snack bar. The snack bar had a variety of delicious foods to pick, from salads, pizzas, omelettes, paninis and sandwiches, as well as a variation of alcohols from spirits, cocktails, local beers and wines. Definitely give the local beers a try as well as the cocktails! Each night we took a trip outside of the hotel and where always greeted by the charming and helpful security guard "ADIL" who was always had a smile on our return to the hotel and stands for 12 hours every night keeping an eye on things and always ready to help you if you needed. He helped us with our bags on leaving to head home. His hard work definitely doesn't go unnoticed around the hotel and by us. The day security were always welcoming and always remembered you as if you were the only ones staying in the hotel. "Muhammad" at reception during late hours always insured you were accommodated and enjoying your stay at the Argana hotel as were the day and night reception staff. Always in pleasant form. Overall we had an amazing, stress-free, relaxing come or go holiday because of this hotel. We will definitely be returning next year for more than a week to see all our new friends again. Thank you to Layla, sunway representative who was extremely helpful and jolly a native of morocco who was also very nice. Thank you to HOTEL ARGANA for making this holiday one to remember forever! Kayla & Norma Quinlan.

Pity there is so much loud music (drumming coming from adjacent hotel making it difficult to sleep on most nights, The beach is fairly near and the free use of the rather elderly sun bed s appreciated. Enjoyed our stay and would go back if we could get a quieter room
