Situated on a prime beachfront, the Hotel Agadir Beach Club is often celebrated for its picturesque views and convenient location near restaurants and shops. Guests have called out the hotel's vibrant atmosphere, complete with live music and a classic Moroccan flair, although the decor may feel outdated to some. While the staff generally receives praise for being attentive, experiences with service quality can be mixed. Travelers appreciate the variety of amenities, yet some caution about the datedness and maintenance issues. Room cleanliness is recognized, but concerns over upkeep and value are noted.

Me and my partner came and stayed for 7nights bed and breakfast. Breakfast was lovely was thinking bout upgrading to half board or all inclusive but worked out cheaper eating out at evenings and using the pool bar in the day. Drinks were expensive £4.50 a pint! Coffee was lovely.

Location is ideal on the beach however u do get hassled so stay within the barriers on the beach and you won’t soon as your out of the barriers they miver and miver to the point where u get annoyed. Restaurants in the area are expensive but if u walk along the promenade they go cheaper. We walked up to the marina where we located the posh shops like Zara and coffee bars where the locals live.

Poolside was lovely as the hotel is large the wind doesn’t affect you when sunbathing and the pool was a good temperature.

The room was amazing and big we had a family suite as we don’t share a bed and the two beds were comfy and there’s also a sofa bed in the lounge. It’s nicely decorated throughout and looks like a 4 star the cleaners work hard and make sure the hotels standards are kept upto scratch we couldn’t fault it.

The shop in the hotel is reasonably priced and have a good selection of Cigerettes ice cream and drinks. The hotel has a strict policy about no food or drinks to be taken into the hotel however we did but hid the bag in my handbag. Bring alcohol from the airport and drink in your room it’s a lot cheaper than drinking at the hotel.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay we had a quiet room overlooking the beach sideways. Would I come back? No unfortunately not and that’s not due to the hotel at all it’s down to i didn’t really enjoy Morocco. You have to haggle everything I got a leather handbag down from 900 dirham to 300 Dirham ( around £28) and scarves at reasonable prices and gifts.

Just back from a week at the Agadir Beach Club and had a great time at the hotel, the highlight by far and away is the staff.

On the upside:
Staff: especially Said, Youseff and the rest of the Entertainment team. Abdullah on reception was also always very friendly and helpful. The bar staff in the Cocktail Bar were also excellent.
Breakfast: the hotel offered a full and broad range of options for a multi-course breakfast. I’m not vegan, or have any food allergies, so I can’t comment on those elements but it certainly looked broad enough for anyone to enjoy a good breakfast. Special thanks to the Chef in the eggs station for her advice with the Moroccan crepes, I had these every day.
Pool: very good pool with easy access and 1m limit across 80% with one squared section (cordoned off) going up to 2m. There was also a kids pool but no slides or anything so is more of an adult pool. The gardens are also lovely.
Entertainment: during the day this was very good with a positive atmosphere maintained by the staff at all times. Always encouraging whilst not too pushy. In the evening it was fairly basic with one show on a Saturday and the other nights just a basic singer. You need the clientele to make the atmosphere. Fortunately, for us it it very Adult orientated and not kids running around as they are in the kids club.
Location is great right on the beach / promenade and adjacent to several restaurants. Taxis are outside constantly.

On the downside
As noted by others the hotel looks dated although it is very clean.
Our room was fine but again dated, although our bathroom was new and small toiletries were replaced everyday.
The (no longer white) towels in the room really need a refresh.
The balcony even in an upgrade room is tiny. It seems only suites have decent sized balconies.
We drank in the Mac Beach Snack bar but it really doesn’t look desirable, a pity given its location on the 10km promenade. On the upside it does show a lot of the EPL, Bundesliga and Champions League matches and could be great for the Euros in June/July2024.
Spa: Don’t waste your time on the Hammam, the worst we have ever had.
Gym: ok equipment wise but the opening times are terrible as it only opens 10-5. When on holiday you want to exercise before breakfast or early evening after so such limited access times is very poor.
Whilst there is a (day) pool bar / restaurant there was no outside bar / terrace for an evening drink/pre dinner drinks. We were there in April and Ramadan so maybe this changes in the summer.
The hotel shop is very expensive, if you forget anything then pick it up outside.

Overall a good hotel but I’d agree it is a 3 star but upgraded to 4 stars because of the staff, all of whom, in every dept, are really excellent.

The hotel is located on the first line and you can rent a room with an ocean view for a relatively low price. The hotel has a nice pool. But the hotel is quite old, there has been no renovation for a long time. And in the hotel there is a very bad wi-fi. They changed my room several times, but the wi-fi was still very bad.

Our travel agent booked us into this hotel for our one night stay in Agadir. The hotel looks lovely from the outside and it is close to the beach. It is definitely not accessible so don't even consider staying here if you can't walk a long way or climb a lot of stairs. Our first impression of the service was when the porter gave me a disgusted look for not giving him a paper money tip - all I had were large bills and I wasn't giving him those. The hotel is sprawling and separated into numerous pavilions. It looks like it was built after the earthquake of 1960 and is still decorated in the 60's era. The rooms are tiny, with few electrical outlets - we had to unplug lamps to charge our phones/cameras. The wifi was so bad, I got a message to "move closer to the source and try again". I have never seen that message before. Getting a beach towel means paying a deposit at information in the main building then going to the pool service to get the towel, returning the towel to pool service and then going to the cashier (not information like they tell you) to get your money back, it's not really worth it if you're only here for a night. We had a nice meal in the fish restaurant at extra cost. The breakfast buffet is sprawling in area but the food choices are limited. I would not recommend this hotel for one night, and I think the food would be boring if you stayed here longer.

When you arrive at hotel you cannot drive up to door as there is a fountain but friendly porter there to help. Reception staff so pleasant and helpful also money exchange there good rates which is unusual. You have city tax to pay around €20 which is mandatory in all hotels.
Bedrooms are in several blocks 3 floors high recommend high floor pool view. Rooms are spacious with settee and bed, fridge, satellite tv English films , hairdryer, toiletries, seperate toilet from bathroom, good hot shower over bath not sure if they have walk in showers.
Restaurants Italian, Moroccan, Seafood, International and lunch outside beside pool.
Italian was good extra charge from all inclusive if u pick something like beef carpaccio it was delicious £3. Seafood closed not full season yet. International great especially beef tagine every type of food pasta, fish, pizza, salads and different types of potatoes, chef cooked a special everynight in front of you. Sweets were delicious especially lemon tart and fresh fruit.
Breakfast has plenty to choose fresh omelettes fried eggs etc and moroccan bread, the 2 ladies one called Aziza that cooked were so lovely a smile and a chat every morning
Lunch is outside near pool special mention to Momo and other waiter his friend, freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh chicken, burgers a small charge and plenty others pizza, chips, salad and lovely seeded rolls. One criticism chips etc not very hot.
Pool is good size very clean 1m deep deeper part cordoned off at top and seperate kids pool.
Sunbeds with mattresses and a few cabanas available deposit for towels refundable. You can order drinks at pool liked the hot chocolate.
Ousain entertainment tried his best very quiet but did aquarobics and boule good fun very nice boy clean and polite.
Bar has a nice red glow really comfortable setees and cushions, entertainer/singer everynight, dance floor. Could do with a couple more alcoholic cocktails.
Gardens are beautifully kept and 2 little tortoises to feed.
Hotel 3 floors high in different blocks recommend pool view.
If I had any complaint wifi only in public areas not in room as advertised I was glad of the break from social media.
Overall had a great holiday will return next year.

We had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The room, the food, the cleanliness, and service were excellent. The staff all went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and happy. The food in the International restaurant was always varied and delicious. The waiters were unbelievably attentive - nothing was too much trouble. Even the girls who cleaned our room were efficient, friendly and good humoured. They even put fresh roses in our room! The animation team were so talented and gave us an excellent performance every night. All in all - a perfect holiday.

Last Saturday we woke up in our Agadir apartment rental, to the 4th day of hammering above us of the roof terrace, which we were supposed to be enjoying undergoing a complete makeover. We resolved to escape that day. We set off in the morning looking for alternative accommodation, we discounted several hotels as their outlook was not so great and then we came across the Agadir Beach. The main man on reception was so effusive in his welcome and offering us a very cheek price for a room overlooking the beach. We were shown the room and took it instantly. We returned to the apartment packed up and fortunately found a petite taxi which took us to the Agadir Beach. The hotel and staff were so welcoming from reception cleaners through to the waiters. The room was comfortable and, although being fairly old was spotlessly clean with a wonderful view. The pool area was lovely and the included breakfast was plentiful, but did have some odd options, carrots and aubergine. The hotel had its own beach area which was easy to get to and well maintained with hawkers kept at a distance. This excellent hotel allowed us to enjoy 4 days of our holiday. The best laugh were the people saving their sunbeds with books, just like the Carling advert

Let’s start with the good.. Latifa, on the information desk was absolutely brilliant. She was so helpful and always happy to help. We avoided many scams thanks to her advice and had some great experiences thanks to activities she recommended to us.

The decor within the lobby’s and lounges was beautiful.

Now to the negatives, which there are many..
firstly, we arrived to the hotel around 11am. The reception was quiet, but the man who checked us in was rude and unwelcoming. We were told our bags would be brought up to us, but they did not arrive, so my husband went back to the lobby, where they’d been left unattended, to retrieve them. Upon entering our room, we were at first happy with our room, until going into the bathroom to see the filth of the toilet and the bathroom, the towels also all had stains on so we requested new ones and the cleaners sorted this quickly for us. The air con was non existent in our room, along with there being no wifi connection whatsoever in our room. When we booked this hotel it was advertised as having wifi in the room - this was important for my husband for essential work he was required to do whilst away.

The food: the first morning, the breakfast was okay, there was yogurt, fruit, pastries, chicken and beef sausages and some vegetables. However breakfast was exactly the same every single morning and it became boring and the only part that was enjoyable was the yogurt and pastries. Everything else caused us to have a bad gut if we risked eating it.
However, the snack bar did do some lovely “tacos” which we had a couple of times during our stay. As for the dinner, I cannot comment as we made a point of not eating in the hotel on an evening, going by the poor standard of breakfast, we couldn’t warrant spending roughly £25 per person.

The pool: The one thing in particular we didn’t like about the pool at this hotel was the reserving of Sun loungers by putting towels on them. Most days people did this and then did not use the Sun lounger at all during the day. Yet the one time we did put towels down, someone removed them whilst we had breakfast and left us with no where to go. We only got invited to take part in activities around the pool once and after that we were ignored by most staff at the hotel. I believe this was due to being English and unable to communicate with other guests who all appeared to be French.

All I have left to say, is if you are English, avoid staying at this hotel as you will not receive the same welcome as others.

We will return to Agadir one day, but this would not be our hotel of choice again.

Spend two weeks in February here with a friend; first time we holidayed in a hotel (usually rent a villa), first time to Morocco, and first time going all inclusive. The weather was perfect and spent most days on the beach. It was a very memorable holiday!
The flight arrived on time, our pre-arranged transport was there to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The first rooms offered didnt have much in the way of views, but reception offered us choices of other ones, which were perfect. The rooms themselves were comfortable and clean, the hotel was spotless.
Every member of staff we met, cleaners, waiters, bar staff and beach staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The meals were all varied and very appetising. We ate mostly in the buffet restaurant, but also tried the other three on site, and were never disappointed. The entertainment at night was good, with singers and dancers and once a week there is a Moroccan night with musicians, a belly dancer and an amazing whirling dervish dancer. It was the best night of the week!
I never had any problem with wifi, I could get it in my room, around the hotel and even on the beach!
Reading some of the negative reviews on here I was a little apprehensive, but now having been there I really dont understand them, I have nothing but praise for the hotel and especially its staff and I will definitely be back next year!

Great hotel that has everything you need in one place. we were all inclusive and the drinks were unlimited but only local wine, beer snd spirits (which were actually very good quality) food is very good snd varied each meal/day. the Italian restaurant has a supplement fee but we tried it the last night and the views of the beach/sunset were amazing and it turns out for a steak and Bolognese with free bottles of wine starters and desert only cost is around £5 total! Ouassim does the entertainment throughout the day/night and is very friendly and chatty - they will ask you if you want to play darts, bowls aerobics etc throughout the day but wont push it if you just want to chill at the pool and watch when the different events are on. location of the hotel is very good with a private beach out the back and the main hotel strip with restaurants & shops out the front (private transfer was arranged by the hotel for €50 return) which was great value for a 25 min drive from airport to Agadir beach area. Our rooms were cleaned everyday. we arranged dune buggys & croc park through the hotel and both were excellent half day trips and great value for money £30 total for 2 ppl 3 hours on buggy and £20 for 2 people to crocodile park inc private taxi return.
