I'm writing this feedback for my recent holiday in Almoggar Hotel Agadir Morocco I'm sorry to write this, We went on holiday in Almoggar Hotel, Agadir, in March 2023. We booked 3 family doubles rooms. Unfortunately, we have been treated as animals by members of staff all the time. 1. The balconies doors lock doesn't work. Anyone can access our bedrooms. It was very uncomfortable for us to leave from our bedrooms, so we always had to leave someone indoors to protect our passport, money's and other belongings due to the broken lock. We've reported to the receptionist number of tim, s but we have been told we can't do anything about it, speak to the Morocco embassy asked us to leave from reception area in inappropriately mannes. 2. The bedrooms Air Condition doesn't work, and the AC's temperature doesn't go below 16'C. The AC's air was very hot rather than cool air. It was making extremely uncomfortable to family and especially to my kids to stay in bedrooms in hot weather without AC, when we paid for the package and comes with AC. 3. The dining rooms staff were very rudes. We have to wait over 45 minutes for them to clean the tables after the guest/customers are used. We've spoken to the manager regarding the table to clean unfortunately he said I'm not in the mood in a bad manner, others staff were just talking to each other, laughing, using mobile, etc. They never paid attention to us at all. Instead, they were making fun of us by making video of us from their mobiles. 4. Members of the staff leaving the cheese slicer machine on unattended, it was dangerous for the kids or even adults could touch the sharp blades. 5. The chief was making doughnuts an unhygienic way. His was touched his hand everywhere, then making doughnuts.

A hotel is made up of many things Hospitality Service Amenities Food Accommodation The women cooking breakfast were pleasant and efficient The housekeeper smiled when we said good morning Sadly these are the only positive things to say. Reception team were off hand and unhelpful The building itself is beyond ‘past its best’ The drain smell in the room was atrocious- our complaint was shrugged off The air conditioning made a right old noise but provided no cooling at all The room was dirty, the floor in particularly, but also walls, bathroom grouting, furniture in disrepair. The breakfast waiting on staff made us feel like we were in the way The coffee was disgusting I’ve never felt sullied and dirty in a hotel before. Just touching a door handle made my skin crawl. Our sea view was a concrete wall We didn’t dare use the swimming pool for fear of contamination The bathroom towels were threadbare The music in the bar couldn’t be classified as music The parking area was the bin store, rant and smelly with rubbish piled up. Thank goodness everywhere else in Morocco was delightful. I would never ever return, even if paid to do so. Utterly awful.

Stayed here for a week in mid October..really not as bad as the negative reviews would have you believe..yes the rooms need some TLC..and yes the cleaners need a little bit of a crash course in proper cleaning..but overall the location of this hotel & its value for money makes it worth overlooking the bad points. Perfect location..Good breakfasts..private little area with sunbeds(that are free) on the beach which is 1 minute walk away..loads of restaurants within short walking distance Negatives..pool could be a little warmer..and I wouldn't recommend eating or drinking from the poolside cafe..several bad experiences with them..ranging from them trying to overcharge us or saying they had no change & then us having to chase them down for our change. Overall a good place to stay..not perfect but then again you're not paying perfection prices.

We just got back from a week away and were thoroughly impressed with our experience at Almoggar despite the many negative reviews we read on Tripadvisor. When we arrived we were greeted by a rep who went through a list of excursions and things to do in Agadir, he also wrote down restaurants to try which we did and all were amazing. The gardens are maintained daily and are beautiful alongside the pools and water fountains. The breakfast provides freshly cooked omelettes and pancakes which are cooked in front of you alongside a big selection of pastries, fruit, salad, cereal and porridge. Friendly security guards at both entrances of the hotel and the reception staff were also great. Our room was cleaned and we had fresh towels every single day. The location is perfect, a stone throw away from the beach which has its own private section just for Almoggar guests. Plenty of restaurants to choose from at the beach front at great prices. The seafood in particular is fresh. We recommend trying out the cable carts which are across the road as they are great fun, providing amazing views of Agadir. We also had a day trip to Marrakesh booked, the security guards helped us to navigate our pick up bus and were extremely helpful. Overall this hotel was perfect and satisfied all our needs. Would definitely recommend if you're thinking of staying in Agadir.

This hotel is to a degree deserving of its 4 star rating. The large welcoming entrance the friendly desk staff the superb grounds and facilities all very much deserving there 4 star status. The rooms were clean and accomadating could do with a little more tlc though. My main gripe here was that the food was never actually hot more often like warm. Apart from that hey it was a very pleasent stay for me. I had an issue in that my room safe that is fee would not lock I reported it and within the hour a technician had arrived and sorted the problem out very efficient service. All in all this is a good hotel to visit.

I absolutely would not recommended this hotel. I had really high hopes as my dad has stayed here before. The room we were checked into was definitely not cleaned from the previous guests the beds were simply remade. The bed was covered in hair and stains. I had to ask 3 times for the bedding to be changed and after 3 days still didn’t happen. I then stripped the bed myself snd the cleaner (who was lovely) changed the bedding. The grounds and hotel is lovely however, has just been severely let go. The hotel is quite dirty and run down (there seems to be a big difference between the rooms). I lost multiple days of my holiday, my dad and brother the same due to an illness (diorreah and vomiting) we had only eaten at the hotel buffet so this is certainly the cause of us being sick. Many other guests were sick & when we reported it to the hotel we were told there had been lots of complaints. I had to visit a hospital in London upon arriving home and it was confirmed that I contacted food poisoning as suspected. Considering how much we paid I’m absolutely gutted we booked this hotel. The hotel has such high potential if it was managed/cleaned better. On a positive the waiters, cleaners, pool staff and security were absolutely lovely!

First visit to agadir loved it,ĺ but the only down fall was the hotel, when you first enter it is beautiful , the pool area & garden area again very stunning, but when we were taken to our room it was horrendous, the toilets smelled & were dirty, the bedding had blood stains on it, we were given a room that we hadn't booked. We'd paid extra for a sea view room and we weren't given that, when we did go to treception to enquire why, they said there was no availability depite us booking over 6 months in advance, the room should have been reserved for our stay. We requested to be moved straight away & to be told no rooms are available, we argued that we had booked the holiday Feb so our room should have been available. The reception staff abdul mutalib, was rude & not very helpfull there seemed to be smirk on his face when we approached him about our room as though he knew we would be complaining Luckily the love holiday rep Nurruddin was available whom was very nice, honest and really accomodating throughout our trip, he advised us to spk to khadija in the morning who will change our room, to which she did, khadija was very nice and looked after us. The rooms are outdated & need re decorating, the bathroom continuously smell &, the cleaning is not up to standard there are stains on the bathroom tiles & walls. The cleaners dont clean very well just change towels, mop floor & change toilet rolls, the whole week the toilet, sink or bath had not been cleaned, i had to clean the sink, mirror & shower area myself. The food was not very appetising & not much variety everyday there was the same salads, spaghetti bolegnase, rice, chicken or beef on alternate days. not much available for children. Despite the disappointment of having to change my room twice in one week, we had a lovely time in agadir, it is a shame the hotel ruined aspects of our holiday. For a hotel in the prime location, their standards are very low. Thank you to the love holidays staff for helping us out.

Chemicals used to wash sheets are harsh on sensitive skin. Ensure to take your towels and sheets with you else you end up with rashes for people with sensitive skin and extreme flare up of contact dermatitis within just a few hours of contact.

Having booked this Hotel and paid for it over 9 month ago, I turned up late after a delayed flight to be told that my hotel booking had been cancelled which was news to me and was left with a child to fend for myself and hunt for another hotel on a foot with luggage on a busy festival weekend night. It turns out they had double booked us but made up a lame excuse about not doing business with our holiday company anymore. Blatant lies, these people have no shame. I wouldn't dream of a booking a dog there in future ! Be warned....
