Anezi Tower Hotel

Yassine was amazing. A very friendly individual from the entertainment team that kept us happy at all times. He taught us aqua gym, archery and darts. Yassine made me enjoy every single moment by the pool.

The atmosphere is often described as lacking, marred by dated design and sometimes unwelcoming staff. Cleanliness receives mixed reviews, as some commend the daily upkeep, while others encounter unsatisfactory conditions. Service quality varies widely, ranging from commendable to negligent. I stayed at the Anezi Tower Hotel for three nights as part of an organised birding trip, on a half board basis. It's an unashamedly high end place and my room was quite comfortable and well equipped but... there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the place was large and rather impersonal. The system for ordering and paying for drinks involved endless slips of paper and signing for them - thy must have had a lot of arguments about drinks bills. The buffet was quite extensive witha huge salad bar but I found the food a bit bland. The beef tagine was mostly bone and they served Turkey merguez. Turkey Merguez is an abomination - merguez are made of lamb! Having said all that, the Anezi tower is perfectly adequate for a short stay - but no more than average.

Good 4 star hotel. Secure car park . Helpful reception staff. Reception area and room,s are clean. We booked 2 rooms. Pool area and garden area is good and Stuning view of sea. Room,s are also sea view and pool view. Strange thing about this hotel they charge 50 dirham per day to use room fridge and 25 dirham per day for safe.
It is worthwhile money if you manage to book twin room for around £60 to £75 with breakfast.
When we visited it was night lock down in Agadir due to covid and hotel had only few local and European guests.
Breakfast was average and same every day.
Only 5 minutes walk to beach.
Will recommend this hotel for families. Also will visit this hotel again in future

Hotel was okay, very average at best. We were in an apartment which seemed to be in the most dated part of the hotel. Only one glass for the pair of us, no pillow cases and only one towel each. No air con in the main bedroom and the apartment smelt of smoke which wasn’t great as we are non-smokers. Food was okay, we only had breakfast there and the queues could be long for pancakes or omelettes. There was a Lack of sun beds even at the start of the season, pool was very cold even in the peak sun but the area was clean. The beach was about a 10 min walk away, was big and had plenty of places to eat. We parked our hire car at the hotel without a problem, would advise to walk for a bit up the road to find reasonably priced souvenirs.

Our stay at Anezi Tower was absolutely perfect! Meryam and her team were always on hand and I couldn't thank them all enough for welcoming us and making our stay so comfortable and special! All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way for us. We had no issues at all and the rooms were cleaned everyday by Fatima who always left a swan made out of towels for my son as it was his favourite thing to watch her do. Meryam and the staff went out of their way to leave a surprise and a lovely message in our hotel room and it was amazing! They made our 4 year old son smile everyday and always took time out of their working hours to speak to us and play with our son as it was his first holiday abroad. Meryam even came to our hotel room to give him a bouquet of flowers and it made his stay at the hotel even more special. There was always a different variety of fresh food made everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was very nice! All drinks were free around the different parts of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again!

Any seasoned traveller would tell you that it’s hard to find a European quality luxury hotel in this part of the world; what is important is that the hotel is spotlessly clean and all the essentials of what is needed for a laid back holiday is on tap. I had meticulously tried to book my requirements for my stay in advance and whilst I was initially disappointed with a particular request, but the hotel manager took it upon himself to intervene to ensure that I was happy.! We had a room on the 9th floor overlooking the sea (in fact most of the beach front in Agadir) with a balcony! It was a truly breathtaking view with magnificent sun sets. Our room was exceptionally cleaned every day by Fatimah with fresh towels and petals arranged around the room for our return. The pool area was clean and tidy and all the staff were very courteous. This is a lovely hotel with a nice lobby. There is only one thing that needs to be mentioned and considered by the hotel. Unlike in Europe, people can smoke in public places and we were unable to enjoy the bar area and the entertainment in the evening because the room was full of smokers and stifling smoke!! I’m convinced that non smokers were put off just the same. Not wanting to detract from my stay, this was one of the best holidays I have ever had and the Management & Staff at Anezi deserve all the praise for helping making it so. I love this hotel and will re-book for this forthcoming Christmas and New Year.

Thank you to the Management & Staff

This hotel needs to make many changes. I still cannot get why it hasn’t made any yet! Looking at these negative reviews. We stayed here at this hotel few weeks ago, and the hotel isn’t what the picture are at all. In fact they should be prosecuted for falsely advertising on how actually the rooms and dinning area looks and the pool side.
Having not gone on a holiday for the past few years! Looking forward to this, We spent a lot of money on all inclusive family of 14. Five rooms.
Hotel staff in bar were arrogant, ignorant completely intolerant to customers waiting to be served. In fact we had to wait 3 hours for drink and cup of tea. Buffet food was the same every day, no chips, burger, for children. Only few dishes of food and the same every day. Which was rice, pasta, meat stew, chicken wings and fried fish.

The cleaner couldn’t speak a word of English, we literally had to stalk her to get our room’s cleaned everyday and also tipped her as she was the only cleaner in the entire hotel.luckily we met a French lady who was also frustrated from all the nonsense and poor attitude from the hotel staff, she explained to the cleaner in French that we require our rooms cleaned. Even then we still had to ask her again. I asked for toilet paper the night before and then early next morning which we never got for our rooms, then I had to go to the shops and purchased it. Never have I experienced such shambles in a hotel. This is an essential need that the hotel should be providing.
The crockery was broken and hotel were using these, the phone was disconnected from the room, the air fryer was broken, lucky enough we had four others rooms to use some of the facilities.

I complained to the manager and had to wait over 40 minutes to speak with him.
Not that made any difference at all.

Hotel Anezi, you need to make major changes, and have some people skills training. Employee few more cleaners, change your buffet menu and ensure you cater for all types of customers. No I would never go there again!!!

Stayed at the Anezi for 4 nights with my family, 23rd-28th Aug 22. The pictures on all websites are misleading. This hotel needs an urgent update. There were bits of the building fallen off clearly visible from the dinning room. My room had significant water damage/damp in the wardrobe, around the bathroom floor. The shower curtain was too short which might have caused this. The carpet on the hall of the 5th floor was so old and dirty it was difficult to recognise it has carpet initially. The all inclusive is really full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with a choice of 8 drinks throughout the day. No snacks. Unless you pay extra. TV remote didn't work. Reception said they would sort it straight away. They didn't sort it. The duvet in my room was between 2 sheets and had no cover. It was dirty. Covid safe!!!! The worst thing was the dirt. I saw lots of cleaning being done but the mirrors in the lifts were smeared with marks the whole time. The windows and door knobs of our room had not been cleaned for weeks. The door handle inside had a build up of dirt. Not Covid safe!
Some of the staff were really friendly and made up for some of the short comings. They looked out for our teenage son while we went for our anniversary meal. Incidentally we had planned to have our special meal in the hotel restaurant. It was really to basic for that. The location was really good. The pool area was relaxing, with sufficient loungers. Towels were available for a small refundable deposit. The entertainment in the evenings was inconsistent or nonexistent. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to a 4 star all inclusive. It's 3 star at best and that is pushing it ☹

It was a wonderful family holiday, it is a 4* hotel, so you can’t expect for them to be all perfect, no hotels are perfect whether it is a 5* start or not.

I visited with my family, it was much better than the 5* hotel I stayed in last year in turkey (Marmaris). Trust me.

The location is perfect sea view, you could actually see the sunset from hotel balcony of the Restraunt everyday in the evening.

The swimming pool was a bit cold to be honest, but it’s ok once you’re in there lol.

The staff members were very friendly and happy staff like Mustafa, Mariam, Ghizlan, (receptionist) and Abdullah (Bar man) and brother Jalal (waiter), whenever I had an issue or concerns they will go the extra mile to resolve and remedy matters.

The lift in the building is quite slow during busy hours.

Kids entertainment dance and singing downstairs bar every day starting from 9pm, kids will definitely enjoy.

Breakfast was on point (scrabbled eggs, paratha hot chocolate yummy) and etc and dinner is nice in the evening. There is pizzas in the evening for kids to enjoy.

After reading reviews about the hotel, I was really worried, but the hotel reception and location is very nice. 8mins walk to the beach if you take the back route of the hotel and money exchange shop nearby. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about is the flight of stairs outside the rear of the hotel if you wanted to take a short cut to the beach which is 8 mins walk.

The rooms are very spacious for family of 3 kids and 2 adults (2 connecting rooms together) but the hotel was abit outdated to be honest, however, the cleaning of the rooms are done everyday with new towels. We really enjoyed the hotel and location.

Many thanks to Mariam, Ghizlan, Mustafa, Jalal, abdullah, Mifta. Ruhela and Betty.

Shahinoor Ahmed- Anezi Tower Hotel customer from room number 613-615.

Terrible hotel! The worst place I have ever stayed in! It is a disgusting, old, run-down, dirty place which looks nothing like the photos they publish. The hotel has no atmosphere, no activities provided, nobody takes cares of guests, it is absolutely not a place where you would like to spend your holiday. It is max 2,5 * hotel, absolutely not 4* as published! The staff has no interest in taking care of guests, it is rude, lacks basic customer care skills like a simple greeting. Nothing in the hotel is working, no services provided, no evening programme, no trips organized by the hotel, no hammam, no activities at all. All inclusive is basically just a breakfast, lunch and dinner, Nothing in between. Food was everyday the same, very bland, tasteless, not cooked properly. No drinks available during lunches and dinners, you have to order it and wait 15 mins to get something like a glass of cola from bored staff. No water, minibar/fridge in the room, no shampoo, no shower gel, kettle with tea in the room, which are common for any 4* hotel. There is not even a light on in the lobby or bar in the evening, the hotel looks just like before closing. The area is dirty, nobody takes care of anything there. The beach is 15 mins by feet and you have to go through very dirty road and stairs which smell like piss. The small part of beach which is reserved for the hotel is far from the Access to the water as Well as the hotel itself. I would not recommend to stay there even If it would be for free. It ruined our time in Agadir

The hotel was outdated and inadequate to be called a 4 star hotel, no way! More like a run down 2 star! We had our room changed 3 times in 3 days. The first room smelt like damp dog and the walls were dirty with sribble marks on it, shower curtaintoo short, so the water was splashing out into the bathroom. The second room, the tv was broken, the Internet never reached past 1 meter and the bathroom smell was unreal. The third room had a waterfall outside the balcony, and there was thick bird poo all over the rails and wall area. We had to keep waving out flies and saw bugs in the bathroom! The air con leaked water all over the balcony and the drain was blocked so the water just stayed there. The desk in chair was rotten and my friend went right through it! No shower curtain or rail, meaning you had to shower with your back against the wall holding the shower head as there was no bracket for the shower head to hang on, and the shower head broke off after the first use. We told reception and maintenance came to fix the shower head and left the rest of the issues. The breakfast was very limited with the queue for flat bread so long, in the end you can't be bothered. If you don't like fried egg, omelette, boil egg or greasy soggy salami, then, you're in trouble! They did have a selection of pastries, yoghurt and cereal. Very easy to get fed up with the same menu near enough both morning and evening, and the meals were not child friendly, not even chips or burgers on offer. No entertainment! After about 9pm there is NOTHING to do here unless they have the belly dancer or strained group dance sessions. £5 for a beer and hardly any sun loungers, instead you have to walk down to a hut and grab a lounge cushion and sit on the ground. The rooms on the websites do not reflect the rooms in real life. We heard they were renovating the 8th floor and we asked to move there and they refused us. For some reason, the 8th floor looks like a 4 star hotel and does not reflect the rest of the building. When we first made a complaint, the receptionist told us that he can't help us and we need to go back to the booking agent to complain, so we will and want compensation! If you are elderly or have joint problems, the 100 plus steep steps to the beach will cause you problems and you will have to take a taxi. Overall staff were nice and we just had to make the best of a bad situation. Do not stay here!
