Stayed a week with my 11 year old daughter at this hotel - was worried after reading the reviews but needn’t have been!
Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are spacious and have everything you need ( the free shower gel smells amazing!!) the first room we stayed in , was at the back of the hotel , nearest the road beautiful sea view and wifi worked wonderful BUT my god the noise from the night club over the road was as insane! The bed was vibrating , kept telling myself it will end soon …. Nope it went on until 5am!! After an early start flights etc I was nearly in tears having no sleep! Went to reception first thing and asked to move rooms , no problem . Second room was thank goodness much quieter ! Unfortunately wifi wasn’t so good and could only manage iMessage but not an issue.
Rooms can be quite hot at night but it’s Africa so 🤷‍♀️.
We also had a bit of neighbour noise - flushing toilet , moving funiture but that’s to be expected I think!
Cleaned daily , fresh towels given every day.
It’s a little run down in places eg wooden doors etc need sanding and repainting as they are flaking , crack in bathroom sink round taps , didn’t effect use , but tatty in places but didn’t affect our stay - they were doing maintenance daily so they are improving!
The stairs !!! Omg the stairs 🙃 it’s certainly not for anyone with mobility issues! 70 stairs just to get out of the hotel from the pool ! - more depending where your room is!
The pools are nice , could do with a few more sunbeds. They are cold when you first get in but it’s nice seeing as it’s so hot there 😂 and towards the end of our stay I did think they could do with a clean - large amounts of suncream etc in there daily made it a bit merky!
Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there - though it looked nice .
WiFi around the pool and in reception works spot on.
It does say atm on site but I didn’t see it and had to go hunting for one .
The hotel is in a great location short walk to the beach and plenty of shops and places to eat around the area .
If you don’t go in expecting 5* you won’t be disappointed at all, I’d stay here again, maybe in a room near reception to illuminate as many stairs as possible 😂
As a single women with a child we felt completely safe in the hotel and around the area .

This quirky, full of character, comfortable and relaxing appart hotel definitely deserves a higher score than people give it credit for! Remember how much you're paying, in an African country. I have just enjoyed a glorious 10 nights (one exception was the area wide power cut one evening, but the guests made light of it haha).

Yes ok it's tired, but they were working hard making improvements during my whole stay. These works never interrupted or interfered with my peace by the lovely pool. In fact it was nice exchanging pleasantries as I wandered around, being lost, trying to find my apartment. The Hogwarts stairs affect made the morning and evening stroll all the more entertaining.

Get one of the higher apartments and the views and sunsets are amazing. Location in general is brilliant.

If you paid the same in the UK, or anywhere probably, could you really expect modern and polished finished? No.

Accept the beauty that this place offers in character, quirky, great experience, friendly, polite and helpful staff. Then step outside the front door to explore all the great Moroccan culture that it has right on it's doorstep, pretty much central to all the main attractions in Agadir

I feel the reviews left for this hotel are very harsh. Perhaps we have had a different experience. Yes the hotel, rooms, shower, toilet everything is very old and grubby. However, when you begin to explore Morocco and it's culture you will understand it is not this hotel that is old and grubby. It is Agadir as a city. Their culture is one of friendliness (mostly) and they are happy to have tourists visit their country. I don't know how you can expect five star hotels in a country like this where five star does not exist. Everywhere you go is the same, grubby old and needs updated. This is not to say we aren't having an amazing holiday and loving trying all the traditional Moroccan food, drinks and traditional Moroccan tea of course! I probably wouldn't recommend coming here as a family, as there is not much around to do for children. It is definitely a place for couples and friends. Kids would be much better in a place like Turkey or Spain. There is no entertainment or restaurant at the hotel (only serving breakfast) however not sure if this is just for off peak season. We are here in January. Aside from this everyone has been as helpful and as friendly as I would expect, and we would definitely return to visit Morocco. It has been wonderful and if you are coming here for a fiver start visit you will be disappointed no matter what hotel you stay in. This is a place for culture, tourism, meeting new people and really getting into the spirit of the indigenous people here.

If I could give -10 to this hotel I would! It was absolutely horrible to stay in this hotel. The hotel is very old and nothing get repaired and fixed. We had to change rooms three times. The first room was above a club and we could not sleep all night, the toilet was also making a no stop noice, the light in the bathroom was yellow and was going on and off, the towels and bedsheets were smelly. In the second room the window did not shut and the glasses were broken, so I had another night with no much sleep as I got cold from the open window even with three blankets. Again the towels and bedsheets were smelly, I had to buy some new towels from the shop, one to cover the pillow and one for my face as they only give you a huge towel for the shower. The third room again had few other problems, one blanket for one person, one of the two plugs in the room had something stuck inside so we couldn't use it, and just to complete the whole experience, the sink was leaking from the tap, so when we came back after few hours, we found the bathroom flooding (literally water everywhere). Someone came to check and they said they would fix it the day after and in the meantime they would provide us with an additional towel and the missing blanket. We went out for dinner and when we came back, there no extra towel and no blanket. I asked the reception to have it right there but they said that it was not possible (without any clear explanation, just "it is not possible") and that the only option was to change room. AGAIN?! At 11pm at night?!! Seriously?!!! I could no longer cope with that, especially at that time of the day, so we just went to our room and try to sleep. The day after, I went to the reception and started complaining and rising my voice as I could not take it anymore, it was absolutely awful!!! The reception staff and the manager kept saying they would do it but it always took few reminders to have something sorted.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. We changes rooms 3 times and every single one of them was a mess. The toilets don’t flush, we had cockroaches in every one of our rooms in the drawers, under the mattress (literally everywhere) the beds are like sleeping on springs, we got charged for the us of the safe yet did not have a key that worked in 2 of the rooms, the lights didn’t work properly in any of the rooms. It stated we had a phone, we had no phone, they stated we had toiletries, we had no toiletries, we had 1 towel a day between 2 of us despite keep asking for another. They used plastic bottle replacing a bed leg, the whole floor would flood after a show (I slipped twice) and that is just the rooms. The pool is murky, loud club music blasting out all day round the pool, cat poo all over the place. And as for the breakfast, we paid £100 extra for a buffet breakfast (apparently) we got x1 coffee each x1 1 egg omelette each (just egg) and x 2 bits of dry bread with jam and it was the exact same every morning and that was our limit. We wasn’t allowed any more or anything different brought to a table no buffet in sight for £100. We wasn’t expecting much as it was cheap but my goodness this place is an absolute disgrace

We are a couple with 2 young children. We had booked an apartment hotel for 4 people (we took care to call to ensure that the reservation was taken into account). However, when we arrived, the welcome was deplorable. We were put on hold for 2 hours, only to learn that no apartment hotels were available. They ended up offering us 2 rooms which were far from clean, with worn bedding, no wifi or air conditioning. In addition, we had to put up with noise from the nightclubs, and the swimming pool was unsuitable for swimming...

It's a shame, because the hotel is well located. However, it is important to note that some rooms overlook the nightclubs near the hotel, resulting in music playing at full volume until 4am. We therefore advise you to avoid this establishment.

I've rarely seen such a dirty and run-down hotel. It was a disaster. Totally overwhelmed staff and unfriendly. Check-in was at 2pm before you were not allowed to do one and then we had to wait 2.5 hrs to be able to check in because it was so crowded and only one lady worked at reception who was totally overwhelmed. The rooms were not cleaned we got the rooms as the previous one left them. When complaining at the reception, the lady told us to go to the room with the cleaning staff and tell her what to clean. I've never seen anything like it. The rooms stunk everywhere was mold. The entire facility was unclean and neglected. There were no towels, no hairdryer, no toilet paper and no soap to wash your hands. If asked, they brought towels and toilet paper. The location of the hotel is very good but I would not recommend anyone to book it it is absolutely unhygienic and the staff is very unfriendly. You also partially have a long way to your room depending on where it is. The pool was also very dirty we didn't use anything in the hotel and went to another hotel after 2 days because it was just not portable. Absolutely not recommended

The place is absolutely disgusting. I have never stayed anywhere as poorly kept as this. Every room is unclean. The toilet stinks. General cleanliness of the entire hotel is very poor.

Despite the helpful nature of some of the hotel staff, those employed to manage the pool ie lifeguard, loungers and entertainment were extremely intimidating and aggressive to the point my partner and daughter were left in tears. Having asked a number of times to stop the ‘gangsta’ nature of the music which included the N word, mother f, b*tch, F …ing and every swear word including the c word we were made to feel that we were unreasonable asking for this abusive language to be stopped. This happened on at least 5 occasions over a 7 day period and they thought playing it in Spanish and French would mean we didn’t recognise it. We are however language literate.

The reason we left early and booked another hotel costing >£300 for 3 nights was to escape the aggressive intimidation of the pool staff and no support whatsoever from reception and no visibility of management.

If you want a nice family holiday where you feel valued, supported and safe don’t book this place.

This is an honest review. This is our 4th visit to Agadir and will not be back due to this experience.

Don’t believe the hotel pics and reviews on the booking sites.

Horrible, disrespectful welcome!!!!
Horrible room, not clean (have asked to change rooms.... Worse of the rest of the elders, occupants....) We ask for reimbursement not at the beginning, we raise them the state of the rooms there it speaks in Arabic.... So now I tell them that I understand everything they say.... So now they start talking to me about a refund.... The disrespectful staff from start to finish before we even pay for our stay..... It’s not worth €50 a night, but it’s worth a symbolic euro and I’m still nice.......!! (once you get in the taxi to change Pension, of course.... The Taxi admits that the reviews that praise and beautiful photos about this Pension are written by the Pension staff themselves or their families..... To raise their ratings on Google and other sites....) I really do not recommend this Inn!!!!!
We weren't the only ones, once we saw our rooms wanting to change rooms, but hey, in one afternoon they still had to refund four people out of a 5/6 person who had just paid and seen their room.....

I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience at a hotel that I can only describe as a complete disaster. Upon arrival at 3 AM, I was met with a room that was not just unkempt, but grimy—dirt and neglect seemed to permeate every corner. The bedding was equally appalling, and I was dismayed to find there were no towels in the bathroom, nor any soap or shampoo to be found.

After just a few hours in this uncomfortable and unsanitary environment, I made the decision to check out at 8 AM, hoping to salvage my trip. Unfortunately, my request for a refund was met with refusal, leaving me both frustrated and disheartened.

This hotel, in its entirety, represents a catastrophic failure in hospitality. I cannot recommend it to anyone, as my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. It stands as a cautionary tale of what to avoid in travel, a reminder that some establishments are best left unvisited.
