Nestled on a scenic beachfront, Amadil Ocean Club has been lauded for its prime location close to local attractions. While the hotel's ambiance and cleanliness receive commendable mentions, with clean spaces and a vibrant pool scene, some guests suggest that the rooms and certain aspects of the atmosphere could benefit from rejuvenation. Opinions on service vary, with instances of both commendable hospitality and disorganization. Moreover, questions about the hotel's value for money, alongside concerns about extra fees, have been called out by guests.

Just returned from a 7 night all inclusive stay at this hotel which me and my daughters (20 years and 15 years old) thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was clean as well as our room. We had maid service every day and the bedsheets were changed and fresh towels were provided daily. The food was great too with variety. Breakfast was fantastic with options including continental. There were 3 other restaurants (Moroccon, Italian and Asian) and the Thai (Asian) food restaurant was my favourite and the food was delicious. All staff in the hotel were amazing and friendly always smiling not one person ever blanked or dismissed us. We also met families from all walks of life that made our stay enjoyable too. The poolside was great area to sun bathe and the water park made the poolside fun too. There was 3 bars including Golden Lounge for entertainment and snacks were great too. The all inclusive drinks choice was great too. The winter sun weather was fantastic in December had no rain whilst there for a week just sun and blue skies with temperatures at 29 Celsius every day. Loved the Moroccon experience and definitely will be returning here again love and peace 💕

Hi, firstly I would like to say thank you to all the staff of the animation team, the restaurant staff and the cleaners. You guys are awesome.
I was however disappointed with the reception staff because we landed and were given one room initially because the other was not clean. Went to my room only to see that we were given a front of the hotel view(room253). When we booked we were told that because it’s my birthday week celebrations, we would be given sea view. Went to freshen up just to see that toilet that smelled everytime you flushed it. Went to reception to ask them to please move us and no one came to see the problem. Waited the whole afternoon and managed to get a cleaner to put a bottle of bleach down the toilet. The problem still carries on and went back to the reception for them to sort it out but they sent no one to our room. We had to buy a bleach bottle to keep putting it on the toilet to try and get rid of the smell.
We wasted that whole day from 130 in the afternoon til 730 just running around staff to help us and no one had the decency to come see our room. On my booking I was told that because It was my birthday the spa of the hotel would gift me a 45 minute massage but once I got there it was all about paying and nothing was gifted.
I was super upset and Yaseer from the meeting point said don’t worry I’ll get your rooms changed and I’ll make sure that you get your birthday gift but I’m back home now and nothing was sorted. I was in agadir last year same time and the hotel I stayed at was a three star but they upgraded me to a sea view and I had an hours free massage at the hotel. They had put rose petals on my bed the day I got there as a welcome and enjoy your birthday week. At dinner time we had a candle lit dinner on the first night and rose petals on my table, but this year I was disappointed because I had heard awesome reviews about the hotel on how they give extra care if it’s a special occasion.

I was worried about using this hotel after all the bad reviews but they do not deserve them . In our case we the hotel ideal. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful , except one instance where we were stuck for getting a taxi home from one of the local residential areas around midnight and they could not help. There is an app similar to uber called roby we ended up using. The restaurant staff again friendly and helpful, it was my partners birthday and they made him a cake !. Food didn't have a great selection but was tasty and plentiful, hotel was quiet though so again this was expected.
Shop is expensive but that's standard for a hotel and if you don't want to pay their prices then there are local shops 2 minutes across the road much cheaper.
Bar staff very friendly, especially Rashid on the main bar :), but they only have draught beer in the pool bar, location of the back beach bar is perfect with views onto the street for people watching and a 30 second walk to the private beach where they give you towels., amazing view of the sunset ans the ocean.
Plenty towels and loungers at both the pool and beach.
The rooms are on the small side but very comfy beds with duvets and bottled water replenished every day, sometimes two bottles were left.
Absolutely no language barrier for English within the hotel. Only staff member I found that couldn't speak English was our housekeeper but I still managed to communicate enough to have her bring an iron to our room without any problem.

We booked our trips with Abdul who works the area out the back of the hotel, he wears a large sunhat so can't be missed. Lovely friendly man, we booked a two hour camel ride with him, where we got a camel each but seen a lot of others sharing 1 camel for two people, also a Hammam and massage again two hours, a full day jeep safari trip and paid £120 so great value.
One thing to watch for was the city tax that cost us £35 for the week. I thought this was high but after a quite Google check found out it was accurate and after checking in the safe was free so that balanced out the high tax.
We were late arriving at 10pm and reception called the restaurant to stay open for us so we still had dinner the first night.

Had the best time this week and would not hesitate to book again :)

Lovely holiday however one member of staff ruined this the towel man, very miserable always moaning at people and had a very bad attitude. Run late every morning so your left waiting for towels, beds were left wet with puddles on after them being cleaned. Limited to one small towel so I would bring your own to at least cover half of the plastic sunbed !

Arrived late on Thursday night. Booking in was quick and easy.
Our room was on the 4th floor, upon entering we noticed 3 single beds 2 of which had been pushed together to make a double but only single duvets on them. We didn’t unpack. The following morning my partner went to make hot drinks only to find no milk. After breakfast we went to reception and asked to be moved and was told if we returned after midday it would be sorted, and it was. Still no milk for early morning/late evening drink. Bottled water on first day wasn’t replenished daily so bought up a bottle after breakfast each day.
Breakfast was a farce. Toaster so slow that you had to put bread through three times hot buffet was the same every day, fried eggs, omelette, tomatoes, green beans, haricots beans in tomato sauce, potatoes. Cold buffet was salad and a very poor excuse for continental.
Lunch was bread, soup, cauliflower cheese, potatoes, chips, pizza, salad, fish, turkey and pork, with a variety of desserts and fresh fruit.
Evening meals pretty much the same as lunch menu.
Ate at the Asian restaurant food was average and meals had to be pre ordered.
Entertainment was lacking and non existent. Very little interaction with guests.
For an all inclusive hotel it needs to have a total revamp in all areas. This is the 3rd time we have been to agadir and this is the worst by far.
We stayed at the Labrander les dunes d’or last year and were very impressed with the facilities, staff, meals and rooms.
Could I suggest your hotel manager and other heads of departments visit and take on board what they do to make it a memorable holiday.

We are here now and have to say first impressions the hotel is lovely but unfortunately the lack of variety of food is a let down. Every day it's more or less the same, pizza, chips, pasta, rice, fish, dry overcooked chicken and lamb which is mostly bone, fat & gristle everything is very bland. The salads are good, lots of bread but never any butter, only 1 toaster which takes forever.
The bars close bang on 11pm we couldn't get a drink the night we arrived.
We paid extra for pool view which was a mistake as the music is deafening at times.
Bar staff miserable and never have enough glasses so serve in paper cups.
On a positive note the room is spotless and cleaned every day, clean towels daily. Also great location.
Mini bar is a fridge with a bottle of water, kettle, tea & coffee. Late breakfast is a cold croissant. Have yet to find indoor pool and gym.

My husband and I went with our 4 children, 3 of which are teenagers.

The hotel is lovely, check-in was fast and easy, the forms were a very short A5 paper to complete for adults only and they provided pens for us. The rooms were large and comfy, with lockable connecting doors if you are staying with children and a large balcony overlooking the pool (rooms 306, 307 & 301). They provided daily room clean, bottled water and fresh towels. There is Free Wifi however this was hit and miss, much to the kids annoyance. The staff were all pleasant and they all work really hard to ensure you have a great holiday. They all deserve credit.

Restaurant – breakfast was the same every day, 3 types of egg, sausage, beans, mushrooms, breads and cereals to name a few, but the hot donuts stole the show for me, they were irresistible. Lunch and dinner served a wide variety of options including Rice, meats, fish, pizza and salads, there was something for everyone to enjoy, the restaurant staff were great at clearing and laying tables quickly, so we almost always found somewhere to sit together as a party of 6 as they would move tables together for you. Drinks are always available at the various bars, wines (including rose), beers, spirits and cocktails.

Poolside – Towels and sunbeds are provided by the hotel (and also on the beach). The 5 water slides kept our kids entertained, even more so when they took inflatable rings to use on them. The animation team were brilliant at getting people engaged in daily activities including yoga, darts, and water aerobics, they, celebrated with a dance around the pool but also helped my youngest to swim faster - special thanks to Abdel, Oking, Samar and Betty. The animation team also worked late into the night providing evening entertainment on the lower floor, although this was more suited to younger guests.

Guest Relations –Special thanks to Naima who was extremely wonderful and organised a surprise for our son’s birthday, including decorating his room and organising a delicious cake in which, Naima and the animation team presented to him as they sang Happy Birthday at the poolside - he was so surprised and happy.

The hotel itself was beautiful and rooms were refurbished but what spoilt our stay here was the terrible service from most staff members. The bartenders don’t acknowledge you and are very unfriendly. You have to somehow try and get their attention if you want a drink within the hour. The drinks were very limited even though we paid for all inclusive. And there were no snacks available outside of breakfast lunch and dinner. So was basically full board when we paid for all inclusive. Even other activities in the lobby area like the pool table or football table games you have to pay extra for. Ridiculous. Oh and after 11pm nothing is free. If you go to the bar they just point at the opening times and say closed. The indoor pool advertised on the website is part of the spa which means it’s at an extra cost if you want to use it. The gym is only free for 3 hours then after that you have to pay. Let’s move on to the buffet restaurant. The food was very limiting and in our opinion poor quality. The waiters weren’t keeping up with cleaning and clearing tables for new guests as we could hardly ever find a clean table when we arrived. We had to ask for cutlery multiple times before it actually arrived and by then our food was already cold. There are two a la carte restaurants in the hotel and you get to use each once for free if you pay for all inclusive, but there is a catch. Not everything on the menu is available for free so it’s very limited surprise surprise. The rooms like I said did look refurbished but not maintained well as some power sockets were broken and hanging out. If you are planning on staying here with small children bare that I’m mind. If anyone is planning on staying here then good luck, that’s all I have to say.

I have just come home from a week's stay and had a brilliant time.
We were a little dubious about a few things before going because of other people's reviews on here.

I can confirm, the hotel staff were lovely, the food was delicious, rooms were nice and beds and pillows were comfy and the hotel as a whole was run very well. A little run down in places but a nice place to stay. A large bottle of water was left in the room each day after it had been cleaned.
Also at meal times drinks were served via the bottle which you could then leave the restaurant with. The all inclusive drinks list could be a little bigger.

The location of the hotel was great being right on the beach and having free sunbeds on the private section with a lifeguard handing out towels. It was very clean and tidy.

A couple of negatives,
- There was no real evening entertainment, (except for the last night) just a man on a piano who didn't even seem to want to be there. But it wasn't a real issue as we could have drinks outside and a nice walk down to the marina of an evening.
- The music around the pool was so loud and beating at times it was hard to hear your own music. I love my music but even found it to much myself.
- The daytime entertainment team could be a tad more professional. Especially of an evening when they are not working.

The hotel was in a good location and overal a lovely time was had. I would go back and stay again.

We stayed in a room where the wardrobe and shower we broken they asked every time we went down to breakfast and we told them twice and they did nothing. The wifi is terrible really. The Dar Fas is terrible the food is either to sweet or just bland. The food really isn't anything amazing so expect a great meal. It wasn't bad on the room it was clean but often the room keys just stopped working. At meals there are never enough plates or glasses for everyone so they are always taking your plates when you not done and half the time the plates nor the cutlery or glasses are clean. The pool is good and I enjoyed the the look very nice. Overall I would not recommend staying here.
