I would highly recommend this hotel and its fabulous staff and cannot praise them highly enough. As a first trip to Morocco I had preconceptions but the local people exceeded all expectations.
The location of the hotel is perfect for beach-lovers and the private section of the beach is well kept and very safe. The beach itself is beautiful, with gorgeous views along the bay.
The rooms are modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. Towels are collected and replaced daily (my only suggestion would be new towels perhaps as some are a little tired) Room staff are wonderfully attentive.
The food is an absolutely wonderful and varied offer of local tegine flavours and more familiar foods, but everything tastes fresh. The salads and fresh veg are wonderful. I would especially recommend the fresh bread which is occasionally baked outside in an oven alongside grills of fresh fish and vegetables. Yum.
Poolside is an excellent way to spend the day, mostly because the Bravo team (animation staff) are tirelessly working to ensure all guests have the best time. They are wonderfully friendly and so committed to delivering a great experience. Particular personal favourites include Ouassim (who is the epitome of a hard worker, giving advice about places to go see outside of the resort and Agadir and Berber life, but also works relentlessly on shows and the competitions he organises. Other favourites include Toufique, Youniss and new addition Dora. They are all fabulously warm and funny individuals and have made our stay unforgettable.
In all, we had a fabulous experience.

This hotel is very well placed on the cornice that runs along the sea and has access to the private beach. This location allows you to visit Agadir on foot and the excursions offered by the hotel are not too expensive. The rooms are nice and either overlook the garden or pool side with a small terrace. Cleaning is well done and employees smiling. Catering is more than correct, varied and the hourly range of meals allows to eat whatever the time. The staff is very attentive with every meal. Bars offer a wide variety of all inclusive drinks and waiters are very popular with guests. When it comes to animation, the Bravo team is efficient and always in a good mood, the shows are of quality and not too late. Bravo managers are efficient, everything is well organized, airport recovery, check in and check out, airport transfer, perfect. I would like to highlight the professionalism of the Bravo teams and their involvement in the well-being of our customers. I'd be happy to come back.

On arrival at the hotel 12.30pm we were given cards to fill in and had to pay tourist tax where we then got our wrist bands and were told to go a get something to eat before returning at 3pm for our room. We had a superior room overlooking the pool which also had a view of the sea 😁. The room was clean , modern and the shower worked well. The beds were comfy. There was a safe for your belongings and a fridge. The cleaner always knocked on every morning to collect towels for your room and replaced them after cleaning later in the day. There was no kettle / cups in the room but I did take my own from reading previous reviews as I do like to have a coffee In the morning on the balcony. You can hire towels for the pool for £20 each which you get back at the end of your stay. The food was very nice , freshly cooked omletes for breakfast and at tea there was a variety of food including roast meats , vegetables, freshly made pizza etc. Could always find something to eat. The staff work very hard in the restaurant always making sure tables were clean. A choice of Beer /wine was served with lunch and tea. The animation team really make this resort they work so hard through the day and evening always smiling , getting people Involved in the activities. Special mention to Omy she is really good with the kids 👌🫠. The bar staff serve you with a smile although the alcoholic drinks do feel a little weak. The beach is just across the road at the back of the hotel with a few restaurants if you fancy eating out. There is also a couple of shops to buy snacks etc. I would recommend this hotel and would come back again as we had a fantastic week and the weather was glorious which is a added bonus. 😀

Me and my husband stayed at Allegro for 4 nights and whilst it was a pleasant stay I think this would have been enough for us.
I shall start with positives…
All staff were very friendly and helpful, on arriving the receptionist checked us in straight away and was very friendly and efficient. Someone then came over to show us around the hotel and to our room.
The room was very spacious and clean we booked a superior room with swimming pool view which is what we were given.
Rooms were cleaned every day and beds made.
Food was absolutely beautiful actually the best food we have had whilst staying at an all inclusive hotel..we really enjoyed it.
Entertainment team were good, welcoming and friendly.
The negatives…
There was some building works going on opposite the hotel which we had not been informed about which I think was unfair and as it was windy it blew over big clouds of dust over the swimming pool area during the day. The dust got everywhere my bikini was grey at the end of the day.
There was always a Que at the swimming pool bar to get a drink, you’d have to wait like 10 mins each time and drinks where also very watered down the cocktails where the worst ones I’ve tasted…so we ended up just drinking Diet Coke.
When you left the hotel you constantly get haggled to buy things from everyone.
Last thing there was a cockroach in our room on the first night and we soon noticed everyone on down stairs level floor had towels down near the door to stop them creeping under the door.
Overall lovely cheap 4 star hotel, great service from staff and clean but room for improvement.

Starting with the positives the hotel gardens were lovely and well kept. The sheets were clean and the room had a smart tv to connect up to phone. The staff are all pleasant and friendly . There was plenty of security which is reassuring. It’s a good budget holiday if you are fit and have no special requirements. Plenty to eat if you have no restrictions all be it a bit bland.
The hotel is a bit of a maze and lots of walking for many guests due to the layout of the buildings. This is not suitable for anyone with low or limited mobility unless you specifically get an easy access room arranged before arrival. The food is very bland and caters to a French palette, I was disappointed as I was expecting lots of flavour. Anyone with food allergies will find it difficult to avoid contamination due to poor understanding and wrongly labelled foods. If coeliac it’s not for you. You would need to manage on salad, potatoes and fruits and an odd piece of lamb. Sweets are mostly of a pastry variety or a sponge based artificial cream cake. A milky jelly was available some of the time.
The bar is limited in choice unless you wish to pay for some items. Other than wine and coffee drinks are served in plastic cups with sharp rims .
The cleaners don’t get enough time to clean each room they are given a quick brush and bed tided and some really thin useless toilet paper topped up. The floors were dirty and our balcony floor was filthy.
Having only one key card for the room was a problem meaning we couldn’t do our own thing

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the Allegro. Overall impression was good, but there are niggles that could be quite easily fixed. The reception area and rooms are modern but a little lacking in character, reminding me of an airport lounge. The corridors to the rooms are quite drab and institutional looking. Our room (2337) was somewhat smaller than anticipated, but for the amount of time spent there, more than adequate. Our room was on the end of block 2 facing a really noisy bar and hotel which was a real pain but not the Allegros fault. Probably rooms 2*34 to 2*37 affected. The provision of USB outlets in the bedside sockets was a godsend. We did not expect any hot drink facilities in the room and had brought our travel kettle. Lovely to be able to have a hot drink on the balcony before breakfast. On the topic of hot drinks, these are only available in the main restaurant at breakfast, At lunch and dinner the machines are covered up and are not available. The pool bar does pizza, fries and chicken nuggets daily from 12, and coffee and tea can be got there affer 10, the lounge bar also does hot drinks when it’s open. The food was OK, not a massive selection, but usually a meat ragout along with a “special” or two, Fish featured quite heavily, but pizza and pasta always there. Apart from the lobby bar there is nowhere to have a quiet drink in the evening and space on the balcony is quite limited if you are smokers like us. It gets quite dark out there in the evening, which cut short an enjoyable card game! It would be quite easy to expand the pool bar for evening use also, which we think would be very popular. Along with the animation team, who deservedly get lots of mentions, the waiters, housekeepers, groundsmen and cleaners do a fantastic job keeping the hotel tip top. We would return if if there was a good deal on, but aren’t rushing to go back.

This was our first trip to Agadir, but thanks to an Amazing stay at the Allegro Agadir Hotel, it certainly won't be the last ! Every member of staff went above and beyond to give us a holiday to remember .
The Bravo Animation Team were ultra enthusiastic and always full of smiles ...Special mention must go to Omy, Karam, Toufik, Ouassim, Mimi, Moustafa, and Dejeunee .
The main Lobby Bar was always popular, clean, well maintained and run efficiently by Adhil, Ahmed, Taher and Ismail ( and others whose names i can't remember, sorry ) . The food was varied and tasty with lots of choice at all the meal times and the Restaurant was very efficiently run by all the courteous waiting staff and not forgetting the cleaners also.
Taking in all the views of the immaculately maintained gardens of the Allegro was always a joy and credit should be given to the gardening staff for all their hard work.
The bedroom was well designed and decorated and kept well stocked daily with lush thick white bath sheets and hand towels which were collected early in the morning and replaced by 4 pm .
There were only positive comments to be made for this Wonderful Hotel and we can't wait to return . Thanks again to all the staff mentioned and also those not, whose names i couldn't remember. You all deserve much praise for ALL your Hard Work.....

Just returned from a 4 night stay, myself and my 15 year old daughters, our first timein Morocco and we loved it! Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet with easy access to all areas, we normally go to a beachfront hotel but this was only a short walk away and had own area on beach so was happy with this, staff were all very friendly and entertainment team were very good at making you feel welcomed and we enjoyed the activities they put on, even if we did not join in with all. Breakfast and lunch was good, with good variation of foods, evening meal for us fussy eaters would have liked chips but not complaining at all as all food was delicious and plentiful, with no problems getting a table, again all staff friendly and helpful... liked that this hotel was also disabled friendly with ramps making it assesible for all .. we would definitely return Thank you

Overall, the stay at allegro has been a delightful break away. Me and my family stayed the duration of 9 nights, of which we were here during the earthquake. I have to say, with allegro, you get what you pay for. There is all but a few negatives i’d like to address concerning this hotel. For one, the cleanliness of rooms is very poor, we found that the floors in the room and balcony would still have dirt and rubbish on them even after housekeeping had been. In addition, the closing times for the bar areas were slightly annoying since it closes at 11pm of which seemed early considering the entertainment ran till this time. If you would want to relax afterwards, you’d be without a drink. And would therefore have the only option of paying for one at the sports bar at 12. And lastly, the way the event of the earthquake was handled was not very reassuring. As we spoke to a few other guests who shared the concern, i’d like to ask that management think about a better evacuation system in place for such events. Even after the manager had told people to go to the pool. He did not address what had actually happened or whether it was safe to go back into the building. Having never experienced an earthquake, we were scared and confused as to whether it was safe to sleep inside. I feel as if the confusion could have been cleared up if there was an alarm and some kind of announcement to reassure people. Instead we were left to find out that it was a fatal earthquake the next morning which was horrifying. However, there are many positives that the hotel boasts. For example, the location of this hotel is amazing, you are in such close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. As well as the food in the restaurant being quite lovely for an all inclusive. Which we found to be not too repetitive. In addition, the staff here are so wonderful, they literally go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I would like to mention, Abdel ( with the glasses) the bartender at the reception bar was so kind. Considering there are so many guests and orders he’d always remember what we like and prepare our drinks as soon as he saw us. This man goes above and beyond! I’d also like to mention the reception staff member Mustafa, who was an absolute delight to interact with and always so cheery and helpful . At this hotel, even the security staff are so polite and hardworking. We often found ourselves on the beach, where the young security guy was so attentive to us guests. And lastly, the animation team throughout our stay really liven up the hotel. They work so hard day in, day out to make sure everyone is included and having a good time. Id like to especially mention Ayoub, Shaima, Oussama and Oumaymah, who really made our holiday special, and who we wont forget. They are all such a lovely bunch. And don’t get enough recognition for it.

How this place is 4* is beyond me. Barcelo hotels really need to look at this place. Rooms are small & smelt of damp, the corridors are dark and dingy & the whole place apart from the gardens looks like something out of the 1970s. The lobby stinks of stale cigarettes smoke, and as soon as we arrived the place sounded like a full on rave as the “lobby” bar is literally in reception. The food is abysmal for an all inclusive, full of flies. Snack bar none existent- only cold soggy chips, “nuggets” & pizza. No ice cream/ ice lollies. Everything is rationed out, you have to ask for a drink in the restaurant, only allowed bottled beer, nail polish remover wine or soft drinks. Toilet roll - you literally get 1 at a time, even if you are a family, we ended up buying our own. We needed assistance with the bathroom door coming off its rails - my daughter was locked in and no one ever came, thank god we managed to get her out ourselves. The so called “accessible room”, you can barely swing a cat, let alone a wheelchair & the bathroom floor is slippery, with no hand rail & a step up into the shower . The staff are great as long as you tip. Entertainment staff is what makes this place of that’s your thing- I’d give them 10/10. To top it off both me and my daughter got D&V for 3 days. Would I return to the fawlty towers hotel?, never …
