5 years after my last visit, Palace Appart exceeds all my expectations, they maintain the level at a high standard and the staff was friendly & helpful. Special Kudos to Ryad who particularly made our stay enjoyable!
Great two bedroom apartment and paid around £240 for 5 nights including standard continental breakfast (with lots of sweet pastries!). Location is a 45 minute tram ride/underground to the Casbah/Algiers centre but the stop is literally across the road from the hotel. The beach is 100m away along with a supermarket. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful but there are no maps available of the area. For a map, visit one of the 5* hotels like the Sofia. There is a free airport shuttle car on request (15 minute journey). For drinkers, there is no alcohol in the hotel but there is a bar within 5 minutes walk that is popular with locals - Mediterranean Restaurant (it's called a restaurant - and does sell food - but it's basically a bar).
I used more than one time this hotel which is located in a block of Alger so-called Bordj El-Kiffan, not dramatically far from the City downtown. the accomodation is quite expensive but if booked in advance might be aligned with same hotel's category. room was clean and enough big for my expectation. nothing really special, just an other option to try if Bordj El-Kiffan is handy enough for business needs.
Palace Appart hotel is in Bordj El Kiffan about 15 km outside Alger Centre, 60 min by tram and metro. Hotel is right next to the tram stop Bordj El Kiffan Lycceè. A taxi will take 30-60 min depending on the level of congestion. The hotel is in a modern building close to the Mediterranean and a small beach. There are some shops, cafes and street restaurant but not much more to see. Room was clean and modern had a fridge, coffee/tea amenities, safe and small desk. Bed was not very comfortable but did the job. Breakfast was included. Bread, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, eggs and sweet bread. Quality ok. The evening restaurant was also a good option, especially since there is not much too choose from in the area if you want a sit-down restaurant. Negatives First of all - the hotel is way outside Alger city. Wi-Fi is included but slow and keeps logging out all the time. Street noise and sounds from the corridor. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. I had to get my room key renewed every day and my bed light was never fixed during my stay (the light bulb was missing so it was kind of a basic problem).…
Pros : Ambience is good., The location is near to beach All the shops are nearby and walkable distance. TRAM / TAXI availablilty within 100 metres. hospitality is good, the hotel employees are happy to help with you. everyday maintenance, daily 2 lt. water bottle complementary rooms with kitchen. morning breakfast is complementary at First Floor. Ground floor contains Mini GYM with one Threadmill Cons : Kitchen utensils are not good. For Veg lovers, there is no much preference for Vegetarian people. Getting Electric Shock in the Kitchen Electric Stove. No Swimming Pool.
Palace Hotel is really a very good place. I've been in many times for business trips and every time it gives you the certitude that people there are trying their best to make improvements and your stay comfortable. Very clean modern rooms, free internet, LED TV with satellite channels, very friendly staff and very nice restaurant is all what you need to distress after long hours of hard labor. By its location (close to the airport + transportion) , you can get very easily to many places like ARDIS, BAB EZOUAR and CITY CENTER Shopping Centers where you can enjoy shopping from luxurious shops and having lunch/diner in very nice large scope of restaurants/fast foods. A must I would say.
I was on a 3 day business trip and booked this place as it looked decent and close to my convention. The Senior apartment is spacious (I was travelling alone) with 2 rooms and a bathroom. The service is slow but people are friendly. The corridors look shady, but I guess they are safe! The breakfast for vegetarians was bad, as you are forced to have just bread and cereal. Considering the price it was not worth it. At nights I would avoid getting down as it got very empty on the streets, partly due to the cold weather.
Since I reside twice in this hotel I loved this hotel, it's very simple but is modern, calm and peaceful. Rooms are spacious and very well equipped,There Is no pool and no bar (it's ok for me ) breakfast is included, I paid 100 euro first time then 75 euro.
i've been in this hotel many times for long period. Staff really friendly, Room very big an clean. Safety and cheaper than other famous hotel. Dinner and Breakfast are really good and amazing quality!.
During a Late Booking I was expecting a smiley Receptionist but was not the Case. The Hotel Was Nice clean and had all the facilities, Nice Large Room. the View was not the Best as it is located on the center. The Parking was tight and not too many car places The Main Improvement that need to be work out is the Break fast that need to be more Diversified In General it was a nice and pleasant Night.
