The hotel was convenient to the interstate. The beds were very firm and had comfy pillows. It was quiet all night. The hot tub was awesome after a long day...it was wonderfully hot. The breakfast has good variety.

I am being generous at 3 stars considering I am here for work and haven't had reliable internet for two days now. I am not using my phone as a hot spot. Got a cord from the front desk, still doesn't work. Beds are great though and the water pressure is strong. Breakfast is just okay, typical continental breakfast with... More

This hotel I'd poorly managed and makes promises the management refuses to keep. We have been trying for over 6 months to rectify issues from our March trip having no success as within the last 2 months they refuse to communicate with us. Their are numerous other choices in town that would be better choices.

This quite new Fairfield Inn is conveniently located to people traveling on Interstate 35 or US 30, particularly if you're visiting Iowa State University. The beds are very comfortable, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is tasty and nourishing. Pricing is competitive. I greatly enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider this property if I stay... More

This hotel is new and in an area of booming development of other hotel properties that are still being built. The staff is very welcoming and made me feel appreciated as a customer. They were very helpful in providing maps and recommendations for dinner. I stayed in a suite and it had a tv in the living area and a... More

We stayed here on our way to Minneapolis. It is really close the I-35 so you don't have to detour much. The place is new and very clean. The little pool was fun for my 3 yr old and there were a few toys on the pool. The breakfast is great for what is it. There are many options. The... More

I stayed here twice this spring when in town to visit family. Friendly staff checked me in quickly and efficiently. Room good. Wifi good. Complimentary hot breakfast in the morning was good. Location good.

Fairfield inn and suites is quite close from I 35 & also 5 minutes drive to Iowa State University. Hotel seems new. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable with mini-fridge & microwave. Beds were bit high but comfortable. Breakfast was decent & staff was attentive - right from front desk & also during breakfast.

I stayed here for two nights for a business trip. This is a fairly new hotel well outside the downtown / ISU areas in Ames, just off the interstate. The room was new, clean and relatively well appointed, with a fairly large bathroom by Fairfield standards. Staff were friendly and helpful, though I skipped the morning food offerings while I... This property must be no more than five years old or so, but it's already been updated to like-new condition! Located just off I-35 and Hwy 30, it is a tad isolated from Ames' downtown and other shopping, but this district of town is where many of the hotel brands are now locating, so it's all developing nicely in this...
