This hotel was SO worth it!! The room we stayed in was incredible, so spacious and clean! The room we stayed in had a smart tv, which was really beneficial (Netflix!) for our early night in the room! The rooms were a little noisy since they’re all concrete, but it’s something I expected it with this style of building. The scenery around the building was beautiful and the people are SO friendly. The halls and rooms include so much history! I’d definitely stay here again!

Do not miss going to this lovely hotel! It was sparkling clean, huge beautiful rooms and especially friendly employees from the front desk, servers in the morning and the chef. We ate breakfast there and it was divine. We sampled the orange lavender honey and it was delicious. The town has many shops to peruse and a few restaurants that you don’t want to miss. Great stay! Thanks a bunch!

This converted woolen mill is truly a wonderful hotel. The lobby and common areas were interesting, with a few remnants from the mill placed throughout. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was huge and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was amazing. Although we didn't have drinks or eat at the hotel, it does have two bar areas and a restaurant. The location was also great. It sits on the Mill Race stream and is right across the street from a brewery and a bar/restaurant. All the shops and restaurants in Amana are within no more than a 10-minute walk. My wife and I highly recommend the Hotel Millwright.

This is a beautiful hotel/historic. Unfortunately a large tour group was there one night (I stayed 2 nights) and they were horribly loud. This is a very clean hotel with spacious rooms. This is my favorite place to stay in Amana and is a great location. The beds are pretty comfortable and nice to have 2 choices for the pillows, as I prefer a softer one (the firmer one was used for sitting watching tv :).)

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I weren't quite sure what to expect. The uniqueness of the decor to the wonderful staff was exactly what we needed. The rooms are well equipped and breakfast was very nice the next morning as well. We would definitely recommend!

Staff was great from check-in process to looking for our room and staff asked to help us to the bartender. Beautiful atmosphere. Room was comfy and very clean. Hotel is a bit noisy. Concrete floors make voices loud. There was light around our door so I think if they fit more tight in the door frame that’d help. We’d stay again just not in a room near the restaurant.

Requested multiple times that the room be serviced, as auto-generated emails indicated otherwise. Never happened despite two requests. NO MANAGER ON DUTY ON THE WEEKEND. Hotel is EXTREMELY loud as there’s no carpeting in hallways and room entryways. Woke up to screaming and babbling baby at 6:50 on a Saturday morning.

Nicely renovated woolen mill, that has large rooms. You can also see some of the woven products, or opt to rent a Suite with a more immersive weaving experience. There are antique milling objects on display throughout the buildings, The staff is very helpful, especially when recommending where to park closest to your room/elevator, even though the hotel is only 2 stories along the quiet millrace. Near the dead end of a road in the main Amana town, very walkable to shops and restaurants.
