This campground has become our new home away from home...we have been camping down from here for the past several years, and we stopped by on our way home to see a great place hidden. Love, love the big trees, this is truly a place of relaxation. We have been there several times in the past few weeks and planning... More

We have been driving by this place for several years to go to a popular camp ground down the road. On our way home I decided to stop by and check the place out. Wow! Is all I have to say. We were surprised at how nice this place is. The other place we were staying at was in the... More

My family and I have been going to Camp Shore for the last 2 years to swim during the day. In the past their policy has been one thing and today I was informed I was not allowed back due to a policy change I was not aware of. The man was very unprofessional and rude. Instead of polietly informing... More

We stayed fri & sat nights mid July 2014 and enjoyed every minute of it. The main purpose of our trip was to visit the Creation museum which was only 16 miles 25 minutes from the camp. Jim, one of the owners, treated us like a friend and made us feel welcome. They recently spent substantial money upgrading their pool... More

Just a hangout for drunks. Staff makes no effort to maintain the campers. Would not have come if decent campgrounds had not been full. I'm writing this instead of enjoying my sleep. . . . Kind of like a cross between a high school and a red neck bar.

I love this place. As for the net reviews, well I don't get it. My weekend with my 2 children (7 & 11) at Campshore was awesome would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a good laid back time. When we stayed, there was no loud music at night and everyone that worked at the campground were... More

"Positively No Refunds" reads their receipt, and they mean it. A quiet night's sleep is not to be had here. Even if, at midnight, one of the homesteaders in the campground is still playing Johnny Cash loud enough to raise the dead, and a phone call to the campground management only results in the music being lowered to slightly deafening,... Such a nice area, spoilt by cruelty, I would not stay again, as money spent here is promoting behaviour that is totaly unacceptable in this day and age. Not a place for children or decent people to be around, very sad as the area has now been ruined, I can never feel the same again about this part of the... More

My review of this site is ok for scenery yet not ok as a tourist attraction for children. The anual Snapper Fest event is being held there again. This August. To be fair I will not be taking my children back to this camp. I was thinking of it again but just saw more reviews. I have also been in... More

This place is amazing and fun for the whole family. No rednecks anywhere, no trash anywhere. The person below is another misinformed PETA person with more deep rooted problems than not liking this place. I would camp here and recommend it to anyone, its is flat out beautiful here, very clean, the staff is courteous and responsive. I cant wait... More
