We visit Southern Illinois wineries often and decided to spend a nite the weekend before Valentines Day. This is one of the few places that does not require a two night minimum stay, however, due to the "holiday" weekend it was priced $20 more than non-holiday nights. That being said, we still got our money's worth 'cause we got free...

I belong to a group of friends that go to lunch together once a month. We have gone to Von Jakob's many times and have been satisfied until our last trip there. The food had little or no flavor. Everyone had either wine or a soft drink and a some wanted a glass of water later. When they paid their...

We stayed only one night in the Cab Sav Suite in June. We were very pleased and it was reasonably priced! The room was spacious and clean. The 2 person tub with 2 shower heads was amazing (no shower curtain / no mess - go figure!). We slept well until woken by a bird chirping on the deck. That made...

Everything about this place is LOW GRADE. Phony atmosphere with terrible wine and even worse beer! Yuck! Get a new Brewer seriously cuz your beer is incredibly horrible. Waitress Megan was very rude and condescending, and passive aggressive with my Mom and friends. Geez like you should pay me to drink that terrible beer and endure your bad mannered staff

The room was lovely. The gift basket with snacks and wine was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. But.... We had to call the maintenance man because there was not adequate hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub. He came and "fixed" it but we had to wait at least an hour for the water to...

For $145 dollars if you are going to have this really nice bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub then you should be able to fill it with AT LEAST WARM water. But instead they spent the time to type up this long note and frame it and put it in each suite about how they were so sorry but they are...

We stayed in the Red Port and White Port rooms, and also were able to access the common area between the rooms. The accommodations are nice, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels were provided and the jacuzzis were a great bonus. The utensils in the kitchen were random and mismatched. The coffee in the room is horrible. There is no...

We went with a Group of friends, and stayed at the Von Jakob Vineyard Bed and Breakfast. This B&B was excellent. Upon check-in we received a little welcome basket that included cheese, fruit, crackers and a bottle of wine. Our room was very large it had a king size bed, two chairs to sit in, its own balcony, and a...
