The cabin was very clean and well decorated. Convenient with full kitchen with plates and utensils, condiments in the fridge, coffee and coffee maker.. Beautiful view, like being in a tree house. Would definitely stay there again.

A little bit of scenery in Illinois that looks like the Mountains of Tennessee. The veiw across the valley is relaxing and calming. Nice to watch it in the morning, especially if your lucky to view it on a cool morning when there is a little fog. Our friends trip was a lot of fun and worked well with the...

We traveled as a couple and there was just way too much room! This would be fit for a quiet, family time. The TV channels are slim, there is no movie selection and you are in the middle of no where. There is also no wifi. I had to send a business letter while I was there and I had...

You are in the middle of wine country, and there are a lot of outdoor activities going on in the area. Check out the Giant City Lodge for dinner one night. I agree with a previous writer regarding the fireplace. I felt discouraged from using it when sending an email about getting wood for it, and was directed to the...

We stayed two nights in Cabin 2. The view is great and so is the location. As mentioned in other reviews, lots of wineries, great scenery and lots of outdoor activities. The cabin was clean and the beds comfortable. My only problem was the cabin's two level layout. There were two bedrooms, a bathroom and a combination living/dining area and...

Found this place by accident really, but turned out to be a great weekend getaway! The locals were super friendly and helpful with making our trip memorable. Wineries in every direction and very close to the cabins. I think this is a great location for any age group or number of people. Will be making a second trip!

Excellent place to relax with stunning view. The cabins are very clean including 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens stocked with everything you need, flat screen TV's and great artwork decorating the entire cabin. Close to local wineries, orchards and hiking trails. Very quiet with the sounds of nature right out your door on the porch...

We recently stayed in cabin #2 , and found the view to be wonderful. The cabin was very clean, and had three bedrooms, two on the top floor, and one downstiars. There is a full kitchen downstairs, and a kitchenette upstairs. The biggest problem was that there were five of us, and the dining area was set up for four...

We had a wonderful time at Skyline View Cabins! We rented both cabins for 7 adults and 3 children, and had plenty of room. The grandchildren loved the wooden fenced sidewalk that runs between the cabins for tricycles, and we felt they were very safe. The cabins are super clean and beautifully decorated, and seem brand new. The landscaping is...

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids 14 and 17) stayed in cabin 1. Everyone agrees this is one of the best accomadations we have ever stayed in. Very clean, quiet and peaceful. We headed to southern IL to get away from all the noise and fast paced life of Chicago. We didn't hear a sound, only the...
