Right on the river, next to the bike trail and the most beautiful spot in the world! For the cost.........unbeatable! The people in the town are super friendly! Which made the visit even more enjoyable. Say hello to Lori at the Avery store......she is more than accommodating and super nice!! Make sure to visit the museum and donate to the support!!
Rented 3 of the cabins with friends & really enjoyed ourselves over the July 4th holiday. Plenty of fishing nearby for the fishermen, great hiking & biking nearby, opportunities for backroads exploring, and cute little town within walking distance w/small store/restaurant, fish shop & gift shop. Ideal setting right on the river - during down times we hung out on the front porches, had group meals at the outside picnic tables and spent evenings around the campfire.Fun community July 4th parade. Super nice & responsive hosts - had good knowledge on the area & suggestions. Nice, very clean cabins with comfortable beds. We'll be back!
Awesome visit to the St. Joe river. The campground was literally on the shore of the beautiful river. Camp hosts were amazing and the water was so clean and clear. We will be back again this fall. Thanks for the great time.
I came to the Idaho/Montana border to ride the Hiawatha Bike trail and booked a cabin. Upon my arrival, Monte and Judy greeted me as if I’d known them forever. The cabin was very cozy, yet roomy. All emenities were in place.. it was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. And, it is located in an breathtakingly beautiful location... to say it’s in God’s country is an understatement .. if yout are an avid fly fisher person (think A River Runs Through It), a byciclist or just love nature, this is the place for you,,
We stayed in one of the smaller cabins and enjoyed this nice get away. Very comfortable beds, easy access to the river, and very quiet at night for a great price. Our cabin was very clean, had a coffee pot, small fridge and a microwave. There is a nice picnic table right outside where we did our cooking and we had several nice campfires in the evenings, with wood available for purchase next door at the RV camp.
