This is a warm and inviting place with nostalgic charm. Aged well and comfortably worn by the years, she still holds her chin up and presents a graceful presence in the historic downtown neighborhood she resides in. My innkeeper, Valerie, is the perfect hostess, there when you need her and quietly absent when you wish to be alone. Visiting and... More

I stayed here last August, and was a bit concerned about the reviews, in my experience some of them seemed a bit harsh. It's what I kind of expected. They were very helpful with everything and service was good. It does feel that it needs freshening up, it felt slightly stale. I wouldn't rush back there, but then again wouldn't... More

We had a nice visit to this place in April. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves, and breakfast in the sunny kitchen-breakfast area was perfectly serene. This place isn't elegant, but it certainly met our needs for a comfortable and historically stylish place to stay. The owner was willing to be very accommodating though we didn't... More

Lovely owner of this B&B in the very nice old section of town. Don't be put off by the worn appearance of the entrance. The inside is well kept and very comfortable. So glad we didn't change our minds at first arrival. Valerie went so out of her way to accommodate us, even opening the adjoining room at no extra... More

I reserved this for a romantic weekend in May 2015, and I had a pleasant time talking to the owner when making the reservation, but that is where the pleasantries ended. We were set up in the whirlpool suit 2, which was in the side house (not pictured on tripadvisor). The first thing I noticed when shown the room was... More

The old house was not clean or taken care of such as mold in the unfinished bathroom, cable did not work, light bulbs out, etc. The sun room is where you are to eat breakfast which has a carpet full of crumbs and food. Toaster on the floor! Breakfast is brought in on weekends from a restaurant so you have... More

My husband and I along with my sister and nephew stayed at The Queen Anne this past weekend 10/4/14-10/5/14; this trip was short but it had and was very sentimental to me. Let me start by saying the house gives you that Old Charm on the outside and inside but Honestly that's ALL. I was so disappointed with the stay... More

A lovely old house but falling into ruin and very uncared for - I was worried the steps out front would not hold me and Im not a big person. The house was dirty, smelly and airless. The room we had was round the back next the the bee hives!! It was dirty and musty and the drain for the... More

This is a beautiful old B&B in downtown Augusta. The stairways creak and there is a gorgeous sun-room for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are very private (including a top-floor suite), but the communal dining room allows you to meet the other guests. It is maintained and serviced completely by the owner Valerie and her family. They are very sweet... More

Quirky is all I can say - but very lovely. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was huge - brought in by owner Val. We visited from UK beginning May 2014 and this was a 1 night stop over en route to Charleston from Atlanta on a 3 week tour of Georgia. Location good for walking to river etc We had a... More
