Check in was efficient and the desk staff friendly. Breakfast was typical, but adequate The manager had a manager's drop-in and holds one every Wednesday. the king sized bed was comfortable, but the room a bit cool. Small TV in the room.

Last minute, we were offered an once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the Masters... rooms in Augusta were tight but were were able to get a room here at a bit of a premium price. Just before check-in, the price was a bit of a conversation between my wife and me. But, the conversation never came up again after we met the staff. The facility is a nice Hampton Inn, the service is outstanding!

I stayed three nights at the hotel. The service was very good. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Material condition of my room was not great - HVAC was noisy, room smelled bad. Still a better place to stay than other brands in the area. Bed was comfortable. Not a lot of middle or top tier eating choices in the immediate area. Mall is one exit over and does have some good choices.

I was traveling for Business, my company traveling department made a mistake and open the reservation for Monday the 17th of June, so when I arrived on the 18th my reservation had been canceled. Since it was after business hours when I arrived my boss asked me to pay for the room and in the morning the travel department would call the Hotel and have it switch to their card. On Wed, I verified with the front desk that the change of cards had happened and asked when my card would be reimbursed? I was told 3-5 business days. I left on the 23rd of June. Around 1st of July(about 9 business days), I called the hotel to ask what going on I had not received my reimbursement, I was told that it went thru that I should call my bank to find out what the hold up is. Which I did, the bank told me that nothing had come thru that to give it a few days and if nothing comes thru to file a dispute report. Around the 8th of July, I called the Hotel again and was directed to a manager, not sure if it was an Assistant Manager or the hotel manager. I again asked about my money, she looked it up and said that it hadn't been sent out ( WHAT) and that she would send it out the day and it would be 3-5 business day before I received the money. At this point, I'm a little upset, I had been waiting for this money since the 19th of JUNE and here it was 20ish day later and I would have to wait again. I got a little heated and demanded the money be released not in 3-5 business days but today. The Manger then got nasty, yelling at me that I had no right to talk to her that way, and something about her daughter being in Atlanta had her stressed out( didn't get the whole conversation at this point since she was yelling at me). I get us back to the money and the other issue that I had while at the hotel. She final state that she would make a call and try to get the money released faster and would be sending me an E-giftcard for the issue I had while at her hotel. July 10, still no money form the hotel, I called corporate and filed a complaint, got an email saying that my complaint had been forwarded to the hotel. July 11 called my bank started the process to dispute the charge. SEPT 12-- still waiting on my money... the hotel never called about my complaint to corporate and now waiting on VISA to finish its investigation into this incident. OK... the other incident that happens while at this hotel. like I said before I was there on business. so I had receipts in piles on my nightstand and the desk, since I have to file them and keep them till the report is approved. When I went to file the pile on the desk Friday morning, they were gone and when I looked over at the nightstand the pile there was gone too. I reported this to the front desk, I was told in a very casual way that Housekeeping thought they were trash and threw them away. No apology.. no OMG what can we do to fix this... all I got was a should shrug form the front desk person. (summary) The hotel owes me money and I'm still fighting to get it back after 3months, and some of the staff don't give a rat puttie about you and the issue you have with there hotel. Staying at this hotel has cost me over $200 in business expense that I can't prove/get reimbursed for.

They swiped my credit card 3 times for incidentals and my friends two times! Then you have to wait 3-7 days for it to be returned! How about my friend is still waiting! When bought to the attention of the GM she was loud, rude, and disrespectful! My friend was speaking to her in her regular tone and every time she tried to get her point across the rude ass GM cut her off! Yelling across the dining room area (during breakfast) at the employee and at my friend (her way of discussing something)...just embarrassing! The employee just quietly tried to assist because she was yelling at him too! Very easy to make a mistake but to big to apologize! Holiday Inn here we come!
