This Courtyard is in a good location near the University and a number of restaurants we frequent when visiting our daughter in Athens. The rooms are OK, not great, and the hotel overall is in need of renovation. Beds are not as comfortable as at other Marriott properties, bathrooms are fine but very small. Not enough plugs for electronics but... More

We have stayed here three times, mainly because of the convenience to downtown and UGA. The first two times, we had rooms on the bottom floor. I wouldn't recommend the bottom floor rooms. It feels like a basement, and the halls are unusually dark and cramped. One room in particular had a definite musty odor. The last visit, we had... More

My brother attends college at UGA, which means I am in the area quite a bit visiting him. I have stayed here on a total of three occasions, my most recent being the best by far. The service is friendly, and the rooms are clean, though I prefer the rooms on the upper levels to the rooms on the first... More

We have stayed here a couple of times while visiting Athens during the college tour and orientation process. I'm sure we will be staying many more nights in the next 4 years here as well! Hotel lobby is totally redone, beautiful and clean. The rooms are nice as well, not quite as updated but pleasant. Staff is friendly and helpful.... More

Good location for UGA. Lots of camps - football, cheer and dance. We had to park along the side of the hotel and access was not readily apparent. Hotel seemed louder than most, although we had a room away from the campers, we still had a good bit of noise from hallway and other rooms. The hotel is pretty much... More

Room was dated, very average. Staff was great, allowed us a very early check-in on arrival. Property is good. All in all, worth the rate, but don't expect too much. The pool looked very good, and the lobby nice. AC unit was very loud, that was a poor deal.

I stayed here for a business trip. The staff was very nice. The hotel itself is a little date and is due for an upgrade compared to other Courtyards I've stayed at. Location is great. Walking distance to the downtown restaurants.

Stayed for 2 nights while in Georgia for the Masters Tournament. We had a few rooms, and were all assigned interior rooms. Some of the rooms are accessed from out side (like a motel). The rooms were clean. But the building itself is oddly designed. Hallways turn and some rooms access from inside, others outside. All of the staff (housekeepers,... More

I am a frequent Marriott customer and this property is tired. The smell of carpet freshener overwhelms the hallways. The rooms are older and run down. The lobby bar had three customers and were out of wine glasses but still charged $13 per glass. Customer service was friendly. The pool area, fitness room, and Lobby are nice.

Real basic. Any mid level chain anywhere. Did I mention it was $199 per night? Damn. And for $199 per night do ya think the amenities might have included body lotion? Double damn. 15 minute walk to UGA.
