Great place , kind of new or renew, big and comfortable rooms, with great Air conditioning( a MUST) ,staff is helpful and overall nice place with great natural surroundings, GREAT POOL to down the heat!!! Just be aware that you must get down and climb quit a few stairs, so if you have any walking issue ask for the closest rooms, but if you are ok , no issues whatsoever.
I very much recommend this place it is very close to all attractions around no more than 10 ins by car or moto taxi

I am so happy to have chosen this place is amazing, friendly staff, good environment, the ladies at the kitchen are awesome they make you feel like is your mother or grandmother in the kitchen taking care of you.The atmosphere of the whole place you feel like you are face to face with nature. The manager great lady she always had smile for every suggestions or complain we had.In the down side they need to be more organized with big crowds

In this resort you can expect nice rooms and great setting amidst the jungle. Within minutes you are in the small traveler friendly town of Copan Ruinas and at the ruins itself. Friendly staff and good food. If you're are serious coffee aficionado then better bring your own coffee powder. Not only in this property but elsewhere in Honduras the coffee is not great - just drinkable at best.

Great installations, but very poor management. OUr original room smelled like cat urine. When transfered to the cabañas, all well, except no hot water. There was absolutely no staff passed 6pm and no way to get any food. The guard was nice enough to get us some food.

We had originally booked one of the cabins for three nights. However, the cabin we checked into had multiple pieces of rat droppings on the floor (as well as a used toothpick), which was completely unacceptable. When we complained about this, they moved us to a different room, which was slightly better, but it was obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned well either — there was toothpaste splatter all over the sink, and a used bar of soap from the previous guest still there. After one stressful night (and using our own Lysol wipes to clean), we ended up canceling the rest of our stay and finding last minute accommodations elsewhere.

It was sad because the place as a whole had potential. The staff was very helpful and the location is great - close enough to everything in copan, but still makes you feel like you’re in nature with plenty of bird watching opportunities. The bottom line is though, do not stay here. Both rooms we had were just gross and the overall standard of cleanliness is not where it should be.

For anyone who remembers the Butterfly Exhibit begun years ago here this is so worth another visit if you are coming to Copan; I don't think all of the tour operators have this destination added to their itineraries but be sure and ask about it. The whole place has been renovated and redone; the butterfly exhibit has been expanded with interactive exhibits and a guide to take you through the exhibit. The whole process is explained in their interactive area where you can purchase your tickets. Be sure to take enough time to have lunch or a refreshment in their newly built restaurant and if you have time they also rent fully furnished rooms and even have a large family champa if you have a lot of family or friends traveling with you. The experience is wonderful the setting incredible with fountains; greenery; plants. They were still getting their restaurant up and running when I went but the food was pretty good. I would like to go back and have a glass of wine one day and watch the sunset maybe sit in the suspended Bar Swings. The rock work is really well done with a lot of attention to detail and the open kitchen let's you see what's being prepared. I went one Sunday and they were roasting a whole pig. This would be a beautiful setting for a wedding reception and could accommodate a lot of people and I understand that there have been many receptions there already. The great part is it caters to families; locals; travelers and tourists. Phone # 2651 3657 if you want to call ahead in case you have a group. Its just outside of the village about 1/4 mile after the cemetary.

We had booked for three nights. When I arrived in the room, I immediately noticed the rat poop at the edge of the sink. I have a real rat phobia, impossible for me to stay in this establishment. After discussion with the reception we agreed to come back at the end of our stay in Copan to get the refund. When we returned, the boss refused to refund us saying that he had not received the payment made by credit card. The police intervened, agreeing with us and the owner agreed to refund us as soon as he received the money. It was mid-June, he said he still hadn’t received our payment and now he doesn’t answer our messages. This dishonest attitude forces us to Google it.
