We spent a week at Reef House Resort and we were very glad we did. From the entire staff and accommodations we couldn't ask for a more pleasant and friendly experience. Major thanks to Dolce (owner) who actually took us out to a local hang out Mr. Brown's. A lot of laughs. Thanks to Keith, (manager) who arranged everything for us. The most important person though, THE BAR TENDER Makayla, she makes a mean Monkey Lala!!!! David (DM) was so knowledgeable and showed us great dive sites. The reefs are pristine and have abundant schools of fish. The reefs are just amazing. The boat captain Cootie, was so funny and kept us entertained with this "fish stories". Also thanks to Rooster and the Ladies who cooked and cleaned for us. I hope I spelled everyone's name correctly. I would highly recommend going to Reef House. It is clean, comfortable, laid back and the people there are very cool. You'll have a blast.

Amazing staff (especially the bartender, Ashton :)) I wanted to start my vacation by relaxing and I got what I wanted! I highly recommend eating most (or all) of your meals at Reef House - you won't get skinny there! The food was amazing! You do have to get a boat ride to go anywhere but we never had a problem as everyone was very accommodating. This is probably the most relaxing start to a trip that I've ever had and I hope to get back to Reef House the next time I'm in Roatan! Thanks again Dave and Keith!

To start, I’ve stayed on Roatan four times. The plan was to stay a few days here to experience something a little different than West End. This review will be based in part on comparison to other parts of Roatan. Hotel/ Grounds: Very nice little spot, well maintained. Expect a lot of wind 24/7. Airport transfer included and quite a neat boat ride out to the key. Well maintained. If you don’t buy the food package, you will likely starve unless you can get a water taxi to a restaurant that’s open (most close early). The food was excellent though. Staff were friendly. Tripadvisor is a little misleading in the fact that it has a pool - it has a sectioned off area of the ocean about 2ft deep. Due to the high winds, this is the only swimming option. Diving: Mostly wall diving but found the viz much better in West End and much more life. You can shore dive from here but it’s nearly impossible to do so as the high waves and shallow entry make it very dangerous. Once you’re there it’s quite a nice wall dive. Overall basically what I had expected I would come back again but only for another 3 days. Would be more up someone’s alley that likes to sit back and read a book all day.

This place has it all! Recently went with a large group, but we were the only people there so it felt like a private beach. We had drinks and food which was tasty and fairly priced. After that we spent time wading and even got to do some snorkeling! Great overall experience.

I have stayed here before with my wife but this time it was just me fishing . The room is clean , wifi is ok . The food is delicious . Thanks Jackie !!! I don’t want to recommend this gem but that’s me being selfish . Dive experts , great location with caring staff . Thanks Ian
