Media Luna DAY ONE Already I am not impressed with this resort. To start the bus that picked us up could barely get up the hill to the resort. It just didn't have the power and at times would roll backwards. Cliffs on either side, scary ride. Check in was fine, efficient and quick. I did not like having to...

As stated earlier, the trip from the airport was quick. The staff was friendly. From there on, it was downhill. The food was nothing to write home about. If you didn't arrive at the beginning of the meal, there was rarely enough left or any selection. There was no yogurt in the morning. There was an espresso bar but they...

Only a relatively short ride from the airport and once there the staff is smiling and friendly. Other than that, not much positive to report. Food is, at best, edible, repetitive and laden with salt. I lived on potatoes and bread. Variety of drinks is very limited and extremely poor quality. Cabanas are spacious but cleanliness is an issue, primarily...

We celebrated our 15th anniversary at Media Luna Resort and Spa and had a fabulous time! There was quite a lot of rain the week we were there, but that was hardly the fault of the resort. We found the buffet to be quite good! Lots of variety to choose from every day, by the end we were getting a...

Dec 2 to dec 9 2013. Island is beautiful resort not so much No nightly entertainment, food not very good and limited choices and very redundant , also the eating times are breakfast 7:00 to 9:30 lunch 12:00 to 1:30 dinner 6:00 till 9:30. There is no where to get food if you miss these times and the selection is...

My husband and I just returned. I would suggest you travel here in February, outside the rainy season. Staff here are very friendly and we felt very safe. We loved having our own little cabana. So quiet especially at night. It's not a party resort so if you are looking for action, go elsewhere. Some people got bitten by sand...

Travelled to Media Luna Jan 13-20th, 2014. First impressions are very nice. The Good: Quick transfer from airport to hotel, check in very quick and professional. One thing that we did not know, and have never been requested until here is a credit card imprint upon check in. This is for any incidentals charged to the room. If you do...

We spent one week in this amazing resort, service was very good, accomodation was without any faults (private cabana for everybody, very private), food was more than we could expect, beach very clean (there was always staff member to clean even during the day), small but very nice and private as well (no vendors and people from outside the resort)....

I traveled to Roatan with a group of 60-70 divers in October 2013 and stayed at Media Luna. One should note that Roatan is a poor island country off the coast of Honduras, so I do not expect a 5-star commercial resort when I travel there. We were greated at the airport by shuttle driver and luggage was handled with...

My husband and I are a couple of active seniors and we had a wonderful Christmas vacation. We picked Media Luna because my husband enjoy snorkeling and he was not disappointed. The accommodation was great, private and commodious. Common areas were spacious and expansive. There were lots of seating areas and lounges and the place was never crowded. The breakfast,...
