Detailed Reviews
We were two couple who visited in December of 2019. We stayed in two of the tree houses and found them extremely clean, well provisioned and beautifully located overlooking the bay. The units seemed to be quite new and in good repair.
The staff was delightful, warm and friendly. We felt extremely well cared for and would recommend this place highly. The breakfasts on the veranda were quite nice and dinners in the restaurant were also quite good. They accomodated our numerous dietary restrictions without hesitation.
Marcos, our dive instructor was awesome. We were both new divers and did our four certification dives with him. While such dives are often rather short - since only a 20 minute dive is required to meet the standard - Marcos took us on dives that were 50 to 60 minutes long and spent lots of time showing us the underwater treasures. We felt extremely safe and well cared for by Marcos and the boat captain who also assisted us with the dives.
The deck at the end of the dock was a cool place to hang out at night and star watch.
We also did the garden tour and jam/jelly tasting which were lots of fun too.
We wold happily go back and recommend the location highly if you're content being a bit off the beaten path and simply hunkering down for a very relaxed chill time when not diving. We rented a car and probably would not do that the next time if we stayed at MHF again given the cost.
Highly recommend this place because of the wonderful staff.

I love this place! If you are looking for a cozy get away in a beautiful tropical paradise well look no more! The property is located on the far east end of the island. It's about a 45 minute drive from the airport and it is isolated. You will want to grab some groceries before you get there if you plan to stay a few days. Our driver Omar was a big help. Feel free to message me for his details. They do have a resturant on the grounds as well. We stayed in Treehouse 1 which offered the ocean view. It's bungalow style. It's like having your own little house. I would definitely recommend booking the ocean view Treehouses. The room was completely upgraded with wood laminate flooring throughout and upgraded fixtures. It comes with a kitchenette and a nice sized refrigerator. The room was very clean. The cleanest I've ever experienced. The bathroom is spacious and the towels are nice and thick. The large bed is situated right in front of an enormous window with a picturesque view of the ocean. It has a patio that looks out on the ocean with an outdoor shower. You can layout on the deck or eat some breakfast while gazing out to the sea. They have some water activities and water toys for you to have fun on. We did not get a chance to partake in any because it was storming. They make their own jelly. They have about 27 different flavors all grown from their grounds. They will let you do a jelly tasting to help you decide which on you'd like to buy. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend Marble Hills Farm. It is the perfect tranquil Roatan getaway!

My preferred accommodations when I travel are places that combine pleasing aesthetics with good design, cleanliness, natural elements and some comfortable amenities without being pretentious or fussy. Marble Hill Farms met all my expectations. We stayed in one of the "tree houses". The view was fabulous. We loved the balcony with outdoor shower (there's also a shower inside). The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, though sometimes we just used the ceiling fan. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious and there were a variety of options. The food at The Crow's Nest was great. And they were happy to accommodate our particular food restrictions. We dove with Dive Master Marcos who was wonderful. He's attentive, patient, friendly and showed us lots of very cool things on our dives. I highly recommend Marble Hill Farms and look forward to returning there!

We could not have asked for a better place to enjoy a quiet vacation while enjoying everything we desired of our stay. The room and the view was fabulous with our "Treehouse" suite. The staff were very accommodating and always helped us feel comfortable during our stay. Jana, the manager, went above and beyond to take care of everything we wanted on or off the property. If you don't want to rent a car, don't worry because a taxi will take you anywhere on the island at a very reasonable rate. All of our food was fantastic and the drinks were plentiful. Thank you Jana and all your staff!

Here my review for the Marble Hill Farms dive center.
I m so glad I found them. They're fabulous! They pick me up each time at my hotel with a speed boat for a pretty fair price.
Even if you end up being the only one diver, they will assure the dive anyway.
I basically had the boat, the staff, and the dive instructor for myself during a full day.
They're highly professional and organized. I really loved every dive I did with them, I felt safe, well taken care of. All the staff is friendly and bring the PADI spirit.
My instructor was awesome and really took the time to discuss and explain to me a bunch of things about diving, material etc..
You will start your dive directly on the beach where they have their dive center.
But they also have their desk at the hotel where you can paid by card and buy delicious hand-made specialities done by Marble Hill Farms people.
I highly recommend this dive center if you go to Honduras, you won't regret it.
I'm a bit curious to try their hotel now :)

The description on the site is very accurate and is exactly what we were after for our last few nights on Roatan. Jana helped us get a car and got a good deal--thanks, Jana!
When we arrived, it was already dark and we didn't know what to do. Marcos ran over from the restaurant and checked us in. He said Jana and the other manager were on a skiing holiday and he seemed a bit frazzled.
We then had dinner and our welcome drink, which was a mango margarita. The bartender is a nice lady who can mix a drink any way you want it.
Breakfasts were the lowlight of the trip. Because Jana was gone she had a friend covering for her. Unfortunately, she wasn't fast in the kitchen. She would bring out coffee without milk. Each guest would say 'ah, I want milk' and she'd say 'yes, it's coming'. 15 min later the milk would come, by then the coffee was cold. I could see guests, myself included, becoming frustrated. More than once someone would go in the kitchen and try to do it themselves. One morning I did insist she microwave my coffee as it took 10 min to bring the milk. She is a nice person but not suited to the hospitality industry. I saw why Marcos was frazzled. He also had to help us at checkout because she was unable to get our credit card to work and we had a plane to catch. He stepped in and, voila, the card worked.
Although Jana was gone and breakfasts moved at glacial speeds, she sent her brother, Pavel, to help at the water area. He is probably the most chilled human on the planet and a funny guy. We enjoyed his company and tried most of the equipment. Unfortunately, we also did not get to dive, which is one of the reasons we were coming. The boat driver got ill and the hotel was very short staffed when we were out. Marcos was very apologetic as we were all ready to go.
The restaurant serves delicious food. We had vegetarian for dinner and were stuffed.
Our room was quiet and, even though you can see right into many of the rooms from the dock, you can always close your curtains. I also adored the dogs and the cats and normally had my own entourage whenever I came out as I couldn't resist giving them all small nibbles.
I would return and think the location is excellent.

We stayed in a little 2 BR bungalow with kitchenette. IT was exactly the right thing for our tired family--we all got to relax, sleep well, swim and sun. The breakfast food was excellent, and food at the Crows nest restaurant also very good. The peace and quiet and friendly feel to the whole property were immensely appreciated. The only thing we missed in the bungalow was a sofa to relax on.
The fact that we felt welcomed by the owners, employees and the dogs and cats, was what made us feel so comfortable.
Definitely will go aback again !

The food at the restaurant was really good value and quality , variety of options, and a spectacular view.
The Free Jams and Jelly sampling was fun, they also had chutney and salsa, all the products were locally sourced and made on the premises, the staff, were attentive and knowledgeable, very nice.
My favorite part was a private garden & orchard tour given by Jana Spalenska. She was very professional, courteous, and knew so much about all the different trees , fruits and plants in the area. She was soooo much fun and very kind, she also explained much about the island, and their effort at sustainable gardening. I will be going here again and staying in the tree house, loved this place- thank you for the great experience. Sincerely, Chrissy, from PNW , USA

My husband and I live and work in the city, so when we go on vacation, we like to be away from hustle and bustle. Marble Hill provided us the quiet retreat we were looking for, because it is located on the east side of the island away from tourists and crowds. The concierge, Andrea, made sure our stay was special by having our room decorated because we were celebrating our anniversary She also arranged our transportation from the airport and to our catamaran cruise. She set up spa services, dinner reservations, and a trip to Camp Bay beach.
The food was great and we LOVED our dinner at the smokehouse. We paddle boarded and spent most of our time on the dock reading in the sun and swimming.
We were at the resort while it was under construction, but didn’t notice the noise. We are excited to come back when the brewery is open for tours and the new bungalows are ready!

We were the only couple on the resort that week during “soft reopening.” The staff treated us like royalty the entire week.
The grounds were beautiful, food delicious, diving superb and staff as welcoming as any we have encountered in 20 years of travel. There is little beach, but if you are in Roatan, it’s not for sand. The rocks and mangroves are big reason for the great diving. We did learn of plans to increase the beach area.
Tree house 3 is a spacious room supported by large piers. It includes a comfortable king bed, a great ocean view, an outdoor deck, indoor and outdoor showers and a small kitchen. But, I am not sure why you would cook when meals are both delicious and reasonably priced.
Diving. What can we say? If you don’t have a good time diving here with Angel and Edward, you need to reconsider your choice of hobbies. They are friendly, professional and accommodating to “special requests.”
Location wise, Marble hill is approximately an hour from the airport. There are no shops within walking distance. The majority of our vacation was diving, but we did use the kayaks, swam off the pier, (go down at night and see if the eagle rays are hunting in the light at the end of the dock) out prior to our departure.
We recommend Marble Hill to anyone who is looking for a great place to dive or hide from the world for a few days. Probably not for you if you are into shops or night-life, but perfect for active adults who want a break from a too fast-paced world.

Hello, not directly at the hotel, but we can help you to arrange it.
Hello, we have small private beach with shallow swimming area. Water around our property is shallow till the end of the dock with sand and sea grass. That is why most of our guests relax at the dock as there is perfect depth to swim, snorkel, kayak or paddleboard.
I know this was asked 3 years ago but in case anyone else is wondering: The treehouses have in room safes. They also have kayaks available to guests on site, and there are several coral reefs and mangrove areas right from MHF beach.
