I was shocked when I arrived in Guanaja to be told that I needed to have cash to pay for my hotel. This was never relied to me in the correspondence I had when making the reservations. Visited this fantastic facility with 8 of my friends.....exploring new water to chase bone fish around in! Fishing was tough....limited guides and small flats BUT some really big bonefish and Permit were spotted each day! Guanaja Hotel had Lots of recreational options,beautiful Villa's,excellent beach,nice bar area with very willing and friendly staff! Food was on par with standard Island fare.....if...
