Best dive vacation to date. Food was excellent staff was great they went above and beyond our expectations. Rooms have a.c. and the diving was outstanding. thanks for a great vacation we'll see you again.
Remote, yeah, G & G's Clearwater Paradise Resort is isolated. That's the best part. You must travel via a small plane which gives you a panoramic view of green mountains and turquoise waters. You are greeted by your host and treated to a relaxing boat...More
Okay, I read the all the reviews and had a few concerns, so I'd like to clarify. Guanaja is a remote island in a developing country. G & G's Clearwater Paradise is not Disney World. CWP at 8 rooms is the largest resort on the...More
A wonderful choice of accommodations on my favorite island in the Caribbean. George and Ginger are perfect hosts and their Resort is a great place to relax, enjoy great food, and live the Island Life. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking are a few of the many...More
Guanaja is a remote, sparsely populated island located smack dab in the middle of Tropical Paradise. If tuning out the world and spending your days exploring extensive, pristine coral reefs that you have all to yourself appeals to you then Guanaja is your Island and...More

Hi! Thanks for your inquiries! The currents are fairly slow here. Most of the diving is on the actual site (out and back). The other "drift" sites are, normally, fairly slow. We consider the wind/waves action and the weather forecast to make the determination. Nothing like Cozumel.
Not sure about the "late dinner" remark? We, typically, serve dinner when folks want it. We have times when they prefer earlier, like 6:00, and times when they prefer later, like 7:00. The "norm" is around 6:30, but earlier, especially if you are the only ones here, is certainly no problem. If you are with a group, that will make a difference. The majority rules. Thanks, and please send more questions. We are here to serve you! Cheers! G&G
