This is a rather noisy place, as there ae a lot of cocks in the neighbourghood, and as soon as one starts (2 am), the others join, so better take some earpads with you. The rooms are pretty and rather large, the building looks a little bit like a motel, and there is a (completely empty) roof terrace wth a...

I stayed here with a tour group for 2 nights. The room was a good size for 2 people, and had a nice bathroom. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. The centre of town is a 10-15 minute walk, and the ferry stop is maybe 5. Short walk up a driveway keeps you away from the main drag along the lake....

More of a 'motel' feel, although up a small unmade road, within easy walking distance to local restaurants etc. Rooms small and basic with no fan or air con. Other hotels nearby which are quite noisy, kept awake by nearby hotel disco and entertainment. No on-site bar/food options. Slow Wi-Fi if you are close to reception.

We attend here on Tucan Travel Mayan Circle tour .It's quite far from the centre and along quite a lonely road, but you can get a taxi back after dark. The rooms are really small and we had to ask for the bed to be changed because the sheet had a blood stain on it that wasn't ours.On one night we...

Decent hotel, wifi slow though and was a bit intermittent. Rooms excessively hot and need air conditioning, that is the main downside. Nice areas to relax and sit outside, but also need some sort of breakfast service.

Stayed here for 1 night. Nice hotel in a good location next to the main town and the lake. Rooms reasonable and nice view from the terrace. Staff quite helpful. Would probably stay in this hotel if returning to Guatemala.

Short walk from the main road up a narrow lane. Two storey hotel block with rooftop terace and views over the lake to volcanoes. Simple clean room on upper floor with balcony overlooking the carpark. Some noise in the night from (presumably) other guests. Free wifi.

Well kept gardens. Simple but clean and comfortable room. Wake up call from the roosters. Amazing roof terrace. Take a tuk tuk in the evening to the main street as the route there is badly lit and didn't feel 100% safe. Took a trip on the lake but really haggle for the best fare. If you go zip lining great...

I stayed here on a group tour through Central America and really liked this place. It had a lot of character and very nice gardens! The rooms itself were nice with a comfortable bed and good showers with hot water! The staff were very helpful and you can also do your laundry there very cheaply. I must recommend though going...

We stayed 2 days at Kamol Bey on our Central America tour. Location is quite OK, just 200m from lake Atitlan boats and just 10min to Calle Guadalupe in Panajachel. The outside of the hotel is very well maintained with a beatiful garden... rooms are very basic though: you'll find a bed, and a toilet + shower with warm water,...
