A lovely hotel set in really beautiful grounds overlooking the lake with great views of the 3 volcanoes. The room was very comfortable. Restaurant lacked a little atmosphere in the one evening we ate there, as many guests get QZ20 tuk tuk to the local town centre and the wide choice of restaurants. In fact the hotel restaurant could do rather better, breakfast table service was rather slow (we ended up helping ourselves to coffee!) But this shouldn’t really detract from the many lovely aspects. Be sure not to miss the gardens at the front as well as the back!

Our room had a nice size, so also the bathroom. Additionally, it came with a small veranda overlooking a manicured garden with a view of the lake. The restaurant offered very good food and breakfast was more than plenty. The selections were very good, and one could order eggs any way they wanted. Outside seating was also available for cocktails and dinner. The staff was super polite, and the service was quick. Would stay there again.

The hotel and rooms are completely outdated, bathroom is not up to standard . However, the view from the poolside is beautiful. The food is TOP - excellent ! but the service is substandard. staff is not friendly

A wonderful, peaceful resort on Lake Atitlan. It takes a couple hour ride to get there, but it's worth it. Peaceful, beautiful gardens and pool. Dining is very good, but could use a little more variety. Service is perfect. The hotel is well located to visit many of the villages along the lake, either by tuk-tuk or water ferry.

One of the nicest hotels I've seen, as far as the surroundings are concerned. Reminded me of some similar places I stayed in Costa Rica some years ago. The gardens and surroundings are spectacular and very enjoyable. The jacuzzi is nicely located with a superb view!

This is a lovely hotel, honestly the best room with a view I have ever had, sat on the lake with views of four volcanoes! Service and food were excellent, a great three day break with trips to the local villages

Totally wonderful and loved this place…it might be in my top 5 hotels! We were staying somewhere else and changed our reservation to stay here. The gardens are gorgeous, food is tasty, and it’s all about the view! The infinity jacuzzi overlooking the lake was a highlight. The staff was so helpful and kind. This is a really special place. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly, it’s worth the splurge. Recommend getting a room on the top level if possible to get a nice view and avoid hearing food traffic above

Absolutely beautiful hotel, luxurious gardens, on the lakeshores with a view of volcano. Lively , but very romantic. Eco friendly, they have botanical gardens on site , parrots , toucans , duck and squirrels ! Very professional and attentive staff, nice pool with awesome view , hot jacuzzi- wish to stay much much longer…

Staff were horrible. The location was great. But a great hotel is when you have both the people and the facilities both intersect. For example, Unfortunately for me, I ate something outside and felt sick so went back to the hotel. My wife later in the day went out to get me some healthy food options. We'll, the hotel argued and would not let a man (me) who had fever and vomiting from getting food to my room! I would not ever go back to this hotel.

The gardens are magnificent ! They are so very well cared for & breathtaking. The front desk staff was very welcoming . Our room was incredible with so many artistic touches & a terrace overlooking the lake & gardens. However the bonus was Juan Carlos the bartender at the hotel . He made us feel so special & created artisan cocktails. We had a delicious dinner in the cozy bar area. The next day… we dined on the deck by the pool & were so happy to have Juan Carlos as our waiter. The staff are wonderful! I also liked the macaws in the gardens.
