I organize groups of volunteers working in the Mayan villages. We have been staying at the lodge since 2012. At times our group of 20 took up the entire lodge. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. Lee and Suzy even helped us prepare materials for elementary school activities and assemble water filters for families without clean water. Lee had... More

Our stay here turned out to be far below our expectations. The advertised "swimming hole" is not swimmable at all. It is still water, dirty, and has a stench. The owners pretended to be friendly but lied directly to our face in order to make money. Do not book any kind of travel, taxis or excursions through them. You can... More

Well maintained property about 9 miles inland from PG. Cabins are really nice, clean and comfortable. Nice owner, willing to help you decide what to do in the area. I recommend having a car if you stay here, but using the bus could work.

We loved everything about Tranquility Lodge! The casita was heavenly, very clean and the view was amazing! My stay there was amazing, it was very quiet and relaxing. We cant wait to go back! The owner was amazing, always had coffee waiting for us in the mornings. This lodge is in the perfect location. Tucked away in the jungle but... More

We loved our experience at Tranquility Lodge. Very beautiful setting. I loved staying in our casita. It was very rustic and loved the atmosphere. They have nature trails and a swimming hole on the property and it is not far from town. The owner was great! Very accommodating. It was easy to book adventures and tours.

This is a delightful place to stay with very comfortable rooms, a great breakfast and a very amenable host. Comfortable beds, free wifi, beautiful plants outside the door and a peaceful swimming hole nearby. The owner gave us lots of time, attention and info about some really great venues near by. We will be returning in March with a team... More

Stayed in a large room, attached to the lodge. It was very clean, comfortable; and allowed us to experience the sights and sounds, nestled in the jungle. The grounds were beautiful and well kept - and trails throughout the jungle area led to a swimming hole. Lee was a perfect host - ensuring we were well fed at breakfast, cooking... More

Driving down to Punta Gorda is a wonderful way to see southern Belize. My annual trip to attend the Sustainable Harvest International Fair in PG always gives me an opportunity to visit a new hotel. This year twelve of us chose the Tranquility Lodge. It was the perfect place to stay for our four day and three night weekend. The... More

We stayed in a Casita (one of the palm thatched huts) and I can't stress how great this room was. The room was really large and well laid out, excellent shower and modern bathroom, great furnishings and really tastefully done decor, very simple and relaxing. Actually everything about the lodge was relaxing, the Casita was really quiet (the reason we... More

My wife and I wanted to spend some time in the less visited southern part of Belize, and chose to stay at Tranquility Lodge. We were glad we did!
