This lodge is an amazing taste of Belize's natural beauty! We felt like part of their family. So many of the other guests were great to talk to. Truly an amazing place. Even the non-air conditioning was a non-issue!

Hello! Our jungle location is unbeatable, but our team is really our greatest asset - it means a lot to hear that you felt like family. Nature draws an amazing group of people together, doesn't it? We look forward to welcoming you back to La Selva Maya soon!

I've visited Belize many times for 25 years, and I still haven't found any lodge that can touch Chan Chich on wildlife sightings. The cabanas have been renovated over the years and are very nice at this point. The restaurant has always been superb, but they'e recently hired a new chef who is helping out with a more diverse menu....

Our privileged natural setting is true luxury, but we've worked hard to improve on the extra comforts and cuisine we offer - we're so happy to hear that you've enjoyed them. We stayed at Chan Chich for 4 nights during our first trip to Belize. Our goal was to see as many of the amazing animals as we could. We got up every morning at 5:00 and took advantage of night safaris until 9:00pm. Luis, Raul, Ruben, and up and coming guide Hector all were fantastic and kept up with my...

The lodge is unique in that it is located deep in the jungle in the midst of a historic Mayan city. But what separates the lodge is its deep commitment to personal, attentive service -- at every turn the staff is finding ways to improve your visit -- providing outstanding tours of the jungle and ruins, meeting your every need,...

We travel as a couple and we have been to CCL eleven times in eleven years. Need I say more? As one would expect, we have returned to changed circumstances during such a period if time. And yet, this is the one place in the world where we have been lucky enough to experience the same magic again, and again,...

Chan Chich is hard to believe - how they built such a gorgeous and luxurious atmosphere with thatched roof cabañas and delicious restaurant is beyond me. I mean, the place is literally in the middle of the jungle! The service was excellent, with the best local wildlife guides I've ever experienced. Yes, Chan Chich has it all, but what you'll...

This was the final stay of our 9-night Belize birding tour. With all the lavish gardens and mowed lawns it was sometimes hard to realize we were right on the main plaza of a Mayan ruin. But trails led from the plaza to viewpoints atop other ancient structures, to prime birding spots deep in the rain forest, and even (for...

Five nights in this wonderfully accessible lodge in the midst of Mayan ruins was fabulous.
