This review is shamefully late - myself and my fiance actually visited in May 2013. I've always meant to write a review. Honey Camp Ranch is a tranquil and beautiful place, set on the side of a peaceful lagoon. The main cabana has unspoilt views of the lagoon, through a huge floor-to-ceiling 'window'. This is not a place for the... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honey Camp Ranch. For the first portion of our Belizean tour it was our priority to unwind and leave the hustle and bustle of our busy weekday lives behind. Honey Camp Ranch was the perfect place to do it. The cabana overlooking the lagoon is airy and peaceful and we spent... More

An amazing place to get away from the tourist trail and relax in the peaceful surroundings of Honey Camp Lagoon. Off the grid and away from the noise of Orange Walk town, this place is extremely peaceful and you will unlikely see another tourist for your entire stay. We spent our time relaxing in hammocks, swimming in the lake, tasting... More

This is an unbelievable place to visit it is quite, calm, and relaxing place to be. It has all what nature have to spare in life from sunrise to sunset and Luciano is a great guy and always have lots of story to tell and good company to be around.

We saw the reviews on HCR and read about Belize too. We decided to take a bus from Playa Del Carmen Mexico to the border town of Chetumal. We then took a "Chicken Bus" (old US school bus) across the border. It is only 38 miles to Orange Walk but takes nearly 2 hrs. However you get a real feel... More

You can't compare this to anything else really. Completely disconnected (no power even) you spend your days swinging in hammocks, swimming in the lagoon and eating some fantastic food prepared by one of the most interesting guys, Luciano. Every cab driver and tour operator will be surprised when you say you're staying outside of Orange Walk Town at Honey Camp,... More

This is a spectacular destination. A hidden treasure no question. Just 9 miles outside of Orange Walk town, Honey Camp Lagoon provides serenity and relaxation that are unmatched. We arrived in the evening tired from travel and found the accommodations to be more than comfortable. There were no unnatural lights and in a few minutes we were getting ready for... More

If you want to "get away from it all and be one with nature" in the tropics, this is the place for you. We flew into BZE (Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport) outside of Belize City, rented a car and drove to Orange Walk Town. Orange Walk is the fourth largest town in the nation of Belize, with a population... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Honey Camp Ranch. The cabana was beautiful, traditionally built with high ceilings, hammocks and views across the secluded lagoon. It was the concierges, Sandfly and Luciano, who really made our trip unforgettable. From the wonderful home cooked dinners to fishing on the river, walks in the jungle to picking fruits and coconuts,... More

Very impressed our cabana was fantastic the views over the lagoon were perfection and the sunrises were stunning. The highlight of our stay was the early morning sunrises and the evenings swinging in the hammocks in our cabana looking out at the stars and fire flies. The noise in the morning and evenings were amazing with all the frogs and... More
