Very nice and relaxed place to be. We stayed in a beachfront cabana with seaview, super. Nice trip to cockscomb basin forest reserve and good diving with seahorse diving. Enjoyed the food, the surroundings and really had a great time. Friendly staff , helpfull when needed. In short: a place where we would go back if we come to Placencia...

This is a review for Singing Sands and for Oceans Edge. Because we had a conflict in our schedule, we were a day late coming down. Mario was so gracious in putting us at Oceans Edge just down the street. We spoke daily before coming and daily after we arrived. He even came over to check on us. They were...

Very disappointed in this hotel/resort. Rooms were sparsely furnished with little lighting. Like being in a cave. Staff tried to make things right but with negative results. After one nights stay we were switched to another upgraded room which was worse than the original assigned room. Only double beds. Good dining and good beach location is what they offer.

We found this place using Frommer's Travel guide and loved every second of this place. The view and proximity to the water was amazing. The staff were great and felt very welcomed here. We arrived to Belize on a later flight and drove from belize city to Placencia. It was a wonderful drive ( take hummingbird highway). We arrived at...

We spent six nights here and were very impressed with the beauty of its setting on Maya Beach north of Placencia. Everyone on the staff went out of their way to be helpful, arranging tours and even drumming lessons. Food is available all day and we had very good meals with great service in the open air palapa dining area....

This place has excellent service, all staffs are very nice to answer questions you ask. If you look everything in detail you would find all details are taken care very well. It's a quiet and beautiful place. The beach is beautiful for swimming and canoeing. They also offer snorkeling gadgets. Although it's a little far from the village, they can...

This resort location had a beautiful pool, was right on the beach, and had a restaurant with gourmet food. Franklin and his staff in the restaurant were excellent. Thehotel was clean and comfortable. The Asian vibe was relaxing. If you're looking for peace and quiet away from the hubbub of Placencia village this is an excellent choice.

I like the rustic-ness of this place. Off the beaten path is the typical type of place I like to stay. You can arrange group snorkeling tours through them although they are a little $$. I also found the meals are pricey as well so you have to arrange for transportation to eat elsewhere as there aren't any close by...

Being traveling all day, we finally found time for food. Somebody recommended this Singing Sands Inn so we needed to try. Easy to find, easy to park and a welcoming entrance. A good meny, which was a bit Asian inspired, perhaps a lot asian inspired. We chosen different alternative and I ended up in tasting Fresh Spring role and have...

A small, cozy hotel with an excellent restaurant / bar in a relaxing great atmosphere. The rooms are reflecting typical local elements with plenty of fine lumber and ceramics and stylish imported faucets. The rooms have no electrical A/C! The natural air conditioning is achieved by 4- side movable louvers. Even at summer peaks temps the sea breeze is cooling...
