We loved our stay at Naia.... Ours was a family trip with two small children. From our arrival the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms and grounds were gorgeous!! We were right by the sea, and the villas gave you a sense of being open to nature, but at the same time giving you that private experience rather than being at a big hotel with crowds of guests. We enjoyed dining too - we had the choice of dining in the main restaurant, or having the staff set up our meals on the beach or on the verandah which was a great option. Overall it was the perfect weekend holiday - we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here two nights prior to a week long sailboat trip with Tradewinds. Loved our casita right on the beach. Outdoor shower and well appointed room were nice touches. Welcome cocktails. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We also enjoyed the spa. Hope we can return.
Naia provided the perfect place to rest, relax, and restore. Once you are able to peel yourself out of the perfectly appointed beach houses, the pristine beach awaits. If you sit more than 5 minutes, you'll get lucky enough to have one of the incredible staff bring you a coconut to drink while you enjoy listening to the magic of the waves crashing in. When you're hungry, you'll find two wonderful restaurants on property that provide the absolute freshest and best tasting food you will found on the peninsula. Want to slip even further into bliss? Try the Spa's wonderful menu for some truly unique and revitalizing treatments. Don't forget to try Yoga with Aaron, have a private if you can, it is truly a revolutionizing experience. You'll feel the stress melt away the moment you step foot on property, and in the event you need anything, you'll find an insanely accommodating staff ready to assist in any way possible. This resort is truly next level, even though the prices are very reasonable. I knew there was a reason Naia was rated so highly, but I am in awe after having spent a week on the beautiful property. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Naia, especially Pam, Kenneth, Kamille, Jerry, Michelle, Chef Omar, Alex, Edwin, Manny and all who were so gracious during my stay. It was a trip I will always cherish, and having such a wonderful team made it all the more special.…
This review is not for Naia generally, but rather for our amazing travel guide Wilder Bonilla (a Naia employee). We had an awesome time with Wilder! He has a wealth of knowledge about local history, flora, fauna and much more. We toured Nim Li Punit, the Spice Farm and managed to take a dip beneath a beautiful waterfall between the two tours. What an awesome time. I wholeheartedly recommend Wilder as a great tour guide. Good dude, great company, caring, smart and fun.
My girlfriends and I wanted a tropical weekend getaway close to home with spa services, good food, and beachfront accommodations. We found everything we wanted and more at Naia Resort at Placencia. We shared the three-bedroom villa with private pool and a picture perfect beach at our doorstep. The spa was a five-minute walk across a road and through the trees; and our delicious meals were only minutes away at two wonderful restaurants. Equally important to us was the fact that the staff were all friendly, efficient, well-trained and couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable and happy. Would definitely return!
