This lodge is modestly priced with large, cool, clean rooms. The breakfast was tasty, fresh, all around excellent. The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay for four nights.

Everything about our accommodation was top notch. Booking was a breeze (and the rate was very affordable and fair). Beautiful property. Rooms and common areas were perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. And, most importantly, Letty and Mr. Ricky were amazing, cheerful, hosts who made sure that we were always well taken care of.

We have reservation for 3 night and stayed one night more due to very friendly and professional service. We enjoyed every minute. Staff very friendly, breakfast very tasty, fresh and every day something else. Room big, clean. Mr. Ricky outstanding, very helpful with everything. Great host and help us arrange tour at ATM, Tikal in Guatemala, Caracol. He helped us with many advises regarding tours, restaurants, etc. Beautiful bungalow, wonderful property, nice views and garden. We highly recommend this location in San Ignacio. Easy to find : it is next to hospital.

We stayed here for three nights. We met Ricky the second night and he gave us recommendations for places to eat in the city. We were able to enjoy breakfast one of the mornings and it was wonderful (we had early commitments the other two mornings of our stay). Our room was clean, and it was tidied up each day. It's a little dark walking between buildings at night, so the flashlight on our phones was helpful. We only have positives to say about our stay here.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute. Mr. Ricky was a great host and help arrange adventures to ATM, Caracol, Xunantunich and Tikal, Guatemala. He also arranged our shuttles from the airport and to Tikal. His advice was spot on, there was no pressure to make a purchase and the prices were in-line with or less than other providers. All staff at the resort were great, and the fresh made breakfast each morning was fantastic. This isn't a 5-star luxury resort, but if you're looking for a relaxed/somewhat rustic setting with all the basics, I would highly recommend this lodge.

Thank you Mr Jeff, for your very fine review of Casa del Caballo Blanco - Casa endeavors to provide the comforts and attention of a bygone era - but remain sustainable by limiting its physical and operational foot print on the environment. the hacienda-like grounds and serenity of its location are favored by many of our guests and we are pleased you are among them - do come visit with us again, breakfast will be on the table, Mr Vance, owner
