The grounds are beautiful, well landscaped and maintained, the rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of hot water (not always true in eco lodges), the breakfasts were outstanding but the true highlight is Mr. Ricky. Mr. Ricky makes you feel like a guest in his home, easily

Greetings Amusedtoo, Thank you, thank you for your very detailed and complementary review of Casa and the Staff. It is a great reward to have guests enjoy their stay as you describe. Casa was created to promote and share the natural and cultural wonders of Western Belize and Mr Ricky is an extraordinary ambassador of those riches, and his staff reflects his excitement and work equally to ensure that our guests return home with pleasant recollections of the days adventures and the serenity and hospitality of Casa. Please come back and visit with us again, breakfast will be on the table, Mr Vance, owner

Casa del Caballo Blanco is located on gorgeous, lush, green grounds and offers lovely views of the city. Upon arrival, my husband, daughter and I were greeted by Ricky, whom is the groundskeeper. He was definitely one of the highlights of our one night stay. Unfortunately, we

Greetings IndyO Thank you for your very gracious review of Casa del Caballo Blanco. Casa staff endeavor to provide each of your guests with the hospitality reminiscent of the neo-tropics and the hacienda era. When guests respond as you have then it encourages everyone to go the extra step to ensure that our guests have especially fond memories of their time in Belize. I am a bit puzzled about about the absence of access to a phone to make a local call - i will be looking into that and assure you that this is a short-coming that will be addressed - look for a phone on your next visit and breakfast will be on the table. This is a hard review for me to write. Usually my opinion of a place is pretty cut and dry and I can reflect that easily in my review. Our stay at Casa del Cabello Blanco had a few things happen that I don't know what to make of. Let's start with the good: ~We were traveling

Greetings Brooklet425, Thank you for your very substantial review. Reviews with the detail you provide give us insights into the fundamentals of our offering, and by providing the guest’s perspective enable us to make continuous improvement. While we are pleased that you enjoyed the beauty, serenity, and hospitality of Casa del Caballo Blanco, we are nonetheless surprised and startled by the experience with the tour operator. Truly unfortunate and inconsistent with any past experience. That you would recommend Casa to others and would return hopefully indicates that your lasting memories of the overall experience will be pleasant. With regard to the inconsistency and confusion regarding the service of breakfast, it does seem that there is a need for improvement in the communication of availability and guest preference – we will be working on that. Your comment on the room placement was appreciated and we will certainly be mindful of that in future when we are actually doing the booking on behalf of the client – albeit the majority of our reservations are actually made on line and the client or OTA makes the room selection. Thank you again for selecting Casa for your accommodations and we will look forward to a future visit. Travel safely, Mr Vance (owner)

We were very pleased with our stay at the resort. The grounds were beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The units were new and nicely furnished and had a wonderful tropical feel with a thatched roof and porch overlooking the mountains. The breakfasts were excellent

Greetings JLHDNH, Thank you so very much for your praise of Casa. As one of the smaller lodges we make every effort to provide our guests with the comforts - natural and cultural - of the neo-tropics. We are proud to provide the hospitality of past times and to provide each guest with lasting memories of a grand adventure in Belize. We do hope you will come and visit with us again - breakfast will be on the table...travel safely, mr Vance, owner

Greetings, Thank you for your inquiry - Casa del Caballo Blanco achieved sustainability certification some years back and an aspect of that was to significantly reduce any waste related to packaging due to the disposal difficulties in Belize - we ask that our guest provide their own shampoo/conditioner - first because of the waste issue and second to ensure that the client has shampoo/conditioner of their preference. Zyad K, I am unsure what transportation you are referencing - there are taxi's, buses, shuttles and transfer services, perhaps you can provide me some specifics - Casa del Caballo Blanco, the eco lodge does not provide airport transportation per se...Mr Vance, owner
